Horrible experience! This was the only cafe open in the village apart from the ice cream shop further down! The pastries and sandwiches are stale, old and look horrible! The staff are rude, when we asked them to heat the scones they gave us a negative look and said "no we can’t” I’m surprised that in this beautiful village a horrible cafe like this is allowed to operate! The seating outside is beautiful but the food is beyond horrible! We had the scones because for some reason we thought they looked better than the other stuff there but they were stale, cream was old, and jam was jelly not jam! The coffee was okay - we had americano and cappuccino Apart from coffee - if you really need one- I don’t recommend at all

Ordered Beef Oyster and yung chow fried rice, the food was cooked fresh and served piping hot, very tasty. The rice was not at all greasy. It was tasty and plentiful. Glad we got a takeaway from here. We will be returning again.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the appalling experience I had while collecting my shopping from your store. The level of incompetence and lack of basic customer service I encountered was completely unacceptable. My collection slot was scheduled for 5:00 PM, yet I was left waiting an additional 45 minutes due to sheer mismanagement. I attempted to contact the helpline, but no one answered. I then knocked on the Click & Collect door, yet still received no response. Left with no other option, I went inside the store to inquire about my order. I spoke to Dan, who made it clear that he would not be able to give me my shopping because he was handling an 80-item order, even though my order was already packed and ready. To make matters worse, he was wearing headphones, had his phone in his hands, and showed no urgency or professionalism in resolving the issue. His attitude and lack of care for customers were extremely frustrating. Additionally, when I finally received my order, the items were completely disorganized, with raw food mixed with refrigerated items, which is both unsanitary and unacceptable. This experience was a complete failure on Asda’s part.

Was told order was £15.40 on the phone the got charged £19.70. The gentleman who packed our food in the shop was lovley and also admitted it wasn’t £19.70 but the women persisted to tell me it was and was quite rude. The prices on the board didn’t even correlate even though she told me to “look ant the board as she was right” and I have never paid that much for the exact same order the last 3 times I have been there. Not great service at all.

Very welcoming cafe. The warm Bara Brith in particular was really good, with Good coffees and gas as well. Staff excellent. Gift shop also really Good.
