Café in the National Library of Wales. A bit pricey - but otherwise a good hot chocolate and cake.

This is the best charging stop in the UK. Free parking while you charge. 50p/kWh for a rapid charger. The Fuuse App works easily. Great value food in a clean restaurant and free entry to the National Library of Wales. This is the future of EV charging. If only all charging stops could be like this.

Lovely lovely staff, so friendly. Relaxed atmosphere, great for cowork or study as well as small kids play kitchen. Food's nice too!!

I had both lunch and a coffee/cake there. The lunch - vegetarian quiche, salad and chips - was excellent value, although not on display (only a meat lasagne was visible, and there was no menu posted, apart from non-existent paninis!). The coffee and cake were also good, though less exceptional value. Chilled water is freely available.

Beautiful and historic location, but such a poor selection of food and drink. Coffee tastes sour, and lack of freshly made food.

Friendly staff, fantastic vibe, delicious lunch. The cafe is spacious and has quite a few tables. I had to do some work on my laptop and spent nearly the whole day there. There are plugs near some of the tables and you can enjoy a breath taking view. This cafe is a great addition to the Library.

Popped to the library as the weather was very wet. Found the restaurant on the lower floor which had a good selection of cakes at a reasonable price. 2 50 for scone jam cream 1 50 for home made cake.

I was at the library for a week researching my family tree and so had several meals and snacks here across the week. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the food was consistently good across the week. The salads were very varied and plentiful and the hot food was really good - their roast dinner was really tasty and they had some very scrumptious desserts to tempt you. Prices were really reasonable and I would happily return and recommend.

As on previous visits, the staff are pleasant and helpful. We opted for the breakfast which was hot and tasty with decent portions but not over-facing. The drinks are made by the customer, so always to their taste. Whilst not a cheap eat, the prices are certainly competitive and the café is roomy and comfortable.

We returned to the café on our next visit to the Library and had a snack in the morning and a meal for lunch. As always, there is plenty of choice and the staff are vey helpful and accommodating. As it was St David's Day there was a choice of different Cawl dishes and I have to say that both my husband and myself, although we had different versions of the Cawl found it to be really tasty and satisfying. With a range to suit many palates, we really enjoy eating here as it is always clean, relaxed and great value for money whilst offering an excellent range of good quality dishes. The harpist was a special treat on St David's Day and we will no doubt find an excuse to return when we visit Wales again in September.

We needed a quick meal, so we ate pre-prepared sandwiches and crisps in this cafeteria. It worked well for this purpose. Very nice staff. Food not great, but it's a cafeteria.

We visited on a Saturday lunchtime when the cafe was quiet - it is much busier during the week when staff and visiting students are working in the Library. There is a good range of sandwiches, panini, salads and hot meals. There are some good freshly made cakes too, including Welsh cakes.

We were at the library all day and had breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea here. We had half an hour before our tour in the morning and had bacon sandwiches and tea - really enjoyable and reasonably priced. So having had a successful breakfast, we returned at lunchtime and I had a salad whilst my husband had a pasta dish. The portions were huge and the food tasty. My husband found the pasta did not have quite enough sauce but what he had was very good; my salad however (choose your own) was brilliant and I was very pleased. Finally we returned for an afternoon cup of tea and a cake; again really enjoyable and reasonably priced. What we did notice was that both staff and visitors ate here and staff eating at an in house establishment is usually a good sign. There was also plenty of cold water available and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Ate here as part of a birthday weekend at the campsite with my husband! The food quality was absolutely fantastic, even though they were extremely busy, there were no shortcuts taken, everything was perfect! The porterhouse steak was amazing! The best we have ever had! Great quality, favourite, cooked as we like it! We will 100% be back!

Two Hoots Tea Room at Devil's Bridge offers a delightful dining experience amidst the picturesque landscapes of rural Wales. Situated near the famous waterfalls and historic bridge, this charming tea room combines warm hospitality with a menu that caters to diverse tastes. Our dining experience at Two Hoots began with a selection of hearty mains. The burger was a standout, featuring a juicy beef patty nestled in a soft, toasted bun with crisp lettuce and fresh tomato. It was accompanied by a generous portion of golden fries, perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The salmon with poached egg was equally satisfying. The salmon was cooked to perfection, flaky and flavorful, complemented by a perfectly poached egg that added a creamy richness to each bite. The dish was elegantly presented and served with a side of seasonal vegetables that added a refreshing touch. For dessert, we indulged in their ice cream, which was a delightful conclusion to our meal. The ice cream was rich and creamy, with a variety of flavors to choose from, each offering a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. The ambiance at Two Hoots is cozy and inviting, with rustic decor and friendly service that adds to the overall charm. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. While the tea room can be busy during peak times, the quality of the food and the serene surroundings make it a worthwhile stop. Whether you're craving a hearty meal or looking to treat yourself to a sweet dessert, Two Hoots Tea Room at Devil's Bridge offers a delightful blend of comfort, flavor, and Welsh hospitality in a truly enchanting setting.
