Went here for a wake , was disappointed with the service that was provided ,it was suppose to be a buffet but the food was put on tables as if it was an afternoon tea , the sandwiches were stale , 1 member of staff looked as if she didn't even want to be their. when we arrived their was still people eating their lunch, we was not even offered a refill on the hot water for tea/coffee some people didnt even manage to have 1 cup of anything (2 small pots of tea and 2 small pots of hot water between a table of 12 )I know their was quite alot of us but surely someone could of come out to ask if everything was OK and if we needed anything, I will definately not recommend this for a venue. Their was no staff around to ask anything - complete shambles.

I'd heard that Beca was a decent breakfast so called in as I passed by. On a beautiful morning, it was no surprise that even in February the cafe had quite a few at the tables. The difference between Beca and most other similar cafes is quality and thought. A slice of buttered toast, a piece of (non soggy) delicious fried bread topped with a fried egg. Two quality sausages and two slices of thick tasty bacon. Finished with tomatoes, beans or both...I opted for tomatoes and they were very good. I had a very nice coffee to wash it down. The place was welcoming, clean and service great. If you're in the area, we'll worth a call.

This place is, obviously, popular due to it's reputation. The good is superb and reasonably priced. The staff are delightful, as is the atmosphere. It was nice to hear many of the clientele chatting away, in their native, Welsh, tongue and there is a kind of "happy" feel, about the place. We ordered the brunch with a pot of tea for 2. Great stuff! Large portions with "real" chips and tasty, thick cut bacon. I am a lover of strong tea and that's exactly what I got! All in all a lovely experience. We shall, no doubt, be back there very soon

We had visitors from Swansea, with the intention of visiting Tenby for a day out and a meal. The result...Rain..Torrents, so we decided to stay in, have a tea or two, and then reconsider, We live a mile or so from Cafe Becca, and I suppose being so near, we have never thought of it as a "day Out". But in this case needs must. What is the point in traveling 10 miles or so to eat in the rain! So Cafe Becca it was. Situated on the main A478 road after turning off the main A40 at the Penbruin Roundabot. Travel up through Clunderwen, Llandissilio, And reach the level top at Efailwen, and the cafe is situated approx 2 to.300 yds past the 40mph sign on your left.. Plenty of parking usually. Here you will find a smallish cafe(although they do have a function room adjoining). From then it`s all uphill, Polite and friendly staff, excellent food and service, and its even licensed. If you are traveling between Cardigan `and the A40 in either direction, and need good grub, and polite and friendly atmosphere here is the ideal place!! First class! ...

Visited Caffi Beca after hearing great reviews from friends. Unfortunately we were greeted by a group of unhappy looking workers, unmotivated to work. After a waitress took our order we were given old and dirty canned drinks. (photos inserted below) I've seen cleaner establishments on the strip in Kavos. Overall the food was average. The hype for Caffi Beca is just that. I understand why the locals all enjoy it there as it is just cheap grub. Wouldn't recommend.

We have been here for lunch on a number of occasions when we have been out for the day in the car. This time there were 4 of us and we all had different meals. I had the ham salad, other meals were, chicken salad, cod and chips and sausage, egg, beans and chips. The salad was first class with a very generous portion of York ham, this was not a case of lettuce, tomato and cucumber as in so many places but it included, beetroot, sweetcorn, coleslaw, pineapple as well. With drinks and some other extras the total bill came to around £25 for the four of us.

I've just been back to Caffi Beca (again) and (again) enjoyed myself thoroughly. The food is always hot and wholesome, in particular the Curry Half'n'half, which always seems to please. Curry sauce not too hot, and brimming with highest quality chicken breast which fell apart. Could have eaten it with a spoon. And at £5.70 a pop, what's not to like? Again, the place was full, and this time - joy of joys! - every table spoke Welsh! With both locals and visitors supporting this cafe, and enjoying themselves, they must be doing something right!Gwych iawn, Robert, a phawb yng Nghaffi Beca. Last night we were invited to Caffi Beca to celebrate a friends 40th Wedding anniversary. There were about 70 guests for a "sit down " buffet in the function room. There was an excellent selection of dishes, salads, meats, pasta, potatoes, eggs, coleslaw etc all fresh, and professionally served , followed by a choice of desserts. This was a homely and friendly environment for such a celebration and can be highly recommended. The daytime café menu was comprehensive with a choice that would suit most people's tastes. Well done to all.

I don't think there are many cafes like this one around any more. Do you remember the good old days when cafe owners took pride in their service and the quality of their food, and actually came out to talk to their guests to see how they were? Well, if you remember those days, then you're probably my age, and enjoy visiting a place where you're guaranteed value for money - with a smile. All the staff are Welsh speakers, and the chat coming form the kitchen during the many busy lunchtimes when I've visited with my family suggests a happy, close-knit team is at work, ensuring a great dining experience for all guests. The waiting staff are marvellous, always smiling, and I'm sure that this is all down to owner Robert's way of working - leading by example. Please do visit CAFFI BECA when you're next in the area, and sample once more the true taste of the good old days of happy dining.

I visited the Caffi Beca with my partner and daughter purely by accident. We were travelling to North Wales from Tenby and decided that we needed a stop for food. The waitress was very helpful and showed us to a table in the function room as the main seating area was really busy. She gave us just the right amount of time to look at the menu and choose our food before she came to take our order. She was cheery and very personable.I had a bacon sandwich with a mug of milky coffee, my partner had Welsh cakes and tea and my daughter had a full English breakfast with a cup of milky coffee. The food arrived promptly and was piping hot. The quality of the bacon and bread was OK to good, but not top quality. The coffee was hand-made and not from a machine - it was a decent mug of coffee. All in all it was a good value for money dining experience - not top end but worth a visit. The prices are very cheap and I would go back to visit again. The Welsh cakes were absolutely amazing and if you visit you must try them!

This is a small restaurant but located in a good position on the main road. The food is excellent, good quality and very good value for money. The entrance is good for wheelchairs, just a small lip on the door frame but not suitable for scooters. There is also an overflow section which I assume is used for functions so even though the restaurant may be full there is always the other room. We have called here a number of times on our way from Narberth to Newcastle Emlyn or Cardigan and always have a first class meal. This time we had lunch, I had gammon, choice of egg or pineapple, with jacket potato, peas and salad garnish. My husband had cod and chips again with peas, both meals were under £6 each. My husband had a pot of tea and I had fruit tea. We didn't have any pudding as we ate too much and so no room. There are a number of regulars who dine here, so that is always a good sign. We will certainly call again when we travel on this road.

It was a rainy Sunday in Pembrokeshire. We were hungry, and a Google search pointed this place out. We almost knew what to expect and fancied a chinnese. Anyone with physical limitations do not try to access. No lights to the path and pitch dark. Once you're in it's cold and sparse. A few tables to accommodate sit downs but this place runs mostly on take aways. The cook was very busy. A young man taking orders, serving and dealing with customers coming in and out. Bit chaotic. We kept our coats on ate our dishes, which were nicer than expected. Worth a venture ... some fun a bit like faulty towers. We would go back.
