Caffe Vista in Pembrokeshire

We enjoyed our visit, friendly staff. Cakes were ok, I had a loaf slice which was nice but thought it was a bit thin of a slice! Haha. It’s quite small inside with a lovely outside terrace area with amazing views but with a pram it wasn’t easy for us to try and access that area so we sat inside.

The reviews speak for themselves. A totally rude and offensive manager/owner who curates a terrible dining environment, and presumably working environment for staff too. A real shame as this place used to be thriving a few years ago, but I won't be returning, and will advise all friends and colleagues not to return either.

My wife and I walked past on Monday on the way to the harbour for a boat trip and noticed the place busy, and though hmm, we’re give it a go. On the Tuesday we visited after a lovely walk and wow, we was certainly pleased. I have the vista breakfast, Bacon, sausages, egg toast and bake beans. All I can say is it was delicious. My one gripe was 2 eggs on the same bit of toast. Loads, I mean loads of bacon and all cooked lovely. My wife had toast, avocado, cheese and bacon which was also lovely. I cannot fault food, portion or quality. Highly recommended. Lovely views from the balcony.

Friendly service from when we arrived 3 adults and a baby. Nothing was too much trouble. it took our order for coffee straight away while we looked at the menu nice selection to suit all tastes. Vegan included. We had 2 vista breakfast and 1 Hulimi wrap all served piping hot and quite quickly as it was fairly busy. There was a wide selection of cakes and some Beers and ciders Would recommend to anybody in the area.

Really good coffee and a buzz about the place. Everyone was friendly and the coffee was superb. Will be back before our week is over but dedi having breakfast. And cake.

I was walking past this cafe, when I spotted the terrace out the back, so we walked through, took a pew and had a glass of wine. The views are stunning, the staff were welcoming and helpful. The prices were reasonable. Would certainly love to return, if we ever make it back to the beautiful Tenby. See photo of view.

Have been here dozens of times over the years and every visit is fantastic. The staff are great, the food is great, the coffee is great, and the views across the beach from the balcony at the back are lovely. My favourite places for a bite to eat and/or a coffee in Tenby.

Without a doubt…… The best coffee in Tenby….. In fact it knocks the socks off of most other coffee shop coffees that I have imbibed around the U.K……. Delicious!

Supposed to be dog friendly but far from it. There were empty tables but still stuck us down the so called snug which seemed OK at first until we realised it was right next to the toilet. If you have dogs then their attitude changes . The toilet was very dirty and needed a thorough clean, which is unacceptable for a cafe.. Miserable manager and staff apart from 1 young waitress. Don't give this place your money, go elsewhere.

Lovely little cafe tucked away in Crackwell Street Tenby with Greek dishes. . A variety of dishes on the menu including dishes suitable for vegetarian + vegan. Gorgeous views of the harbour from thd balcony. Would definitely visit again if I was in the area

A lovely cafe with a spectacular view of one of Tenbys beach. Food very tasty and a refined selection. Felt like a while until we served but was busy and once arrived it was worth the wait and staff very attentive. Good place to start for a brunch or late lunch.

Outside on the terrace you can enjoy your espresso or beer with a great view of the beach. Unfortunately there are only a few seats there. The interior is nice too, but just interior... Coffee and cake are delicious. Unfortunately the restaurant closes quite early. When we got there at 5:00 p.m.

Turkish Manager is very abrupt and rude. 4 of us had 2 alcoholic drinks each on the small balcony where views were lovely. All ok until we came to pay the bill. Shorts with mixer are around £4 so we estimated the bill would be just over £30. My friend handed over her card and was charged £64!!! When questioned, he said we'd been given doubles! At no time did any of us ask for a double and we were never offered one. We told him this and he said we should've known by the taste (we all had tall mixers). Then he blamed the waitress by saying "look at her, she's only 16" As if to say "what do you expect" We should've replied with "she's under age to serve alcohol" (imagine she's being paid a pittance). Eventually, after a heated discussion (my friends could hear him shouting from half way down the street), he reluctantly gave us £15 back, which should've been £30 but we just wanted to get out of there. Never been served by such a rude and obnoxious person in my life. Have already advised friends never to go there and we will never visit again. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED!

A true gem in Tenby. If you ever want a good breakfast, lunch, drinks or cake, this is your spot. It’s excellent service and the scones are delicious!

Have visited this restaurant twice over the last 2 years while on holiday in Tenby. The food looks amazing but myself and family only had the cream scones and would say that I have never tasted scones anywhere else like them. Staff are excellent and very helpful. Would say that if you have the scones it is like a meal on its own. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Me and my partner go here regularly. The coffees are beautiful and unlike any we’ve tried before. The atmosphere is lovely with a view over tenby on the balcony. The staff are really nice.

We love Cafe Vista, it's brilliant. We come every time we go to Tenby. It's a little small so sometimes you get turned away. But the food is lovely. The coffee is strong so I would recommend getting a syrup shot if you don't handle very strong coffee well. Thanks to all the staff especially the older gentleman (I think the owner) who always make us feel welcome and have created nice memories for us.

Absolutely incredible I dont typically eat out for breakfast but this has changed my mind. We had a vista breakfast and a halloumi sausage and bacon wrap every thing cooked to perfection

Had a lovely impromptu lunch at Cafe Vista today, the owner and staff were really welcoming and accommodating. I had a Greek salad with pitta and humus which was really delicious - fresh and full of flavour. My Dad had the fasolada stew which was really delicious - warm and comforting, and the rest had sandwiches on really lovely fresh ciabatta bread. All our food was really excellent, so much nicer and fresher than a lot of what is on offer from Tenby eateries, and a really interesting menu. The cakes looked incredible too! And if the food doesn’t tempt you enough then the views are also totally stunning and the whole place has a relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere. Best cafe in Tenby by far, can’t wait to come back - highly recommend.

Lovely little cafe with great food at reasonable price and excellent service. If you’re lucky enough to get a table on the terrace on a sunny day, you also have great view to soak in while eating / sipping your coffees. We had the vista breakfast and it came with a pile of bacon. Way more than I expected and great quality too. All staff at the cafe were very accommodating and super friendly. Would definitely come back to this place when I’m in the area.

Rude owner? We asked to sit outside and he is shouted that we couldn't come in if it rained. Beautiful views outside so we just smiled and said that's fine. The view outweighs everything else. Waitresses were lovely.

Cafe Vista's picturesque location offers a pleasant ambiance, but unfortunately, the service falls short of expectations. While the food is decent, the overall dining experience is marred by disappointing service. It's an alright choice if you're in the area, but don't expect exceptional service.

Beautiful location. Excellent coffee we had flat whites which lived up to their reputation. Lovely service, excellent breakfast. Due to being super busy there was a long wait between coffee and breakfast. Food was definitely worth the wait. Good value for money. Expect to wait on sunny days! Dog friendly.

We had an absolutely enormous breakfast (2 slices of granary bread, 2 fried eggs, 2 sausages, beans and tomato and heaps of crispy bacon) for under £10 each. Lovely views over the beach and the kids throughly enjoyed their hot chocolates

Came across this cafe while walking in Tenby. Was busy, manged to get a table. Very welcoming service, lattes were very nice. We ordered the Vista breakfast, it was lovely, very tasty. We went on a rainy day but with nicer weather there is amazing views of the sea out the windows. They also have a very good selection of cakes on the counter, although we didn't have one so can't comment them.

Coffee is not so good. They clearly do not know the definition of cappuccino. It is milk and water. Also Americano is too acid.

The coffee is consistently spot on! Food is absolutely delicious and the staff are always really friendly. We highly recommend this lovely cafe in Tenby.

Under new ownership since my last visit, I was pleased that nothing had changed. Service is friendly and slick; the food is excellent; atmosphere is distinctive; and we ate a a lot for relatively little. Highly recommended!

We stayed above Vista, and every morning we could smell the most amazing coffee! So we booked a table for us and family staying nearby for breakfast, these guys know what they are doing, the coffee was sensational and the breakfasts were beautiful and so fantastically diverse! We wanted to know the coffee beans they used and it's a personal blend, which means we are coming back and soon, also, they have a local artists work on the walls, we bought a piece as a stunning memory item. It is very popular so I would recommend booking if there are a few of you and bring your appetite, the breakfasts are high quality and plentiful! Also it is worth noting that the views are spectacular and they have a sea front outside area, with a fully bar menu! I can't imagine a better setting. Great job, all of you!

Always want to eat somewhere that has a thoughtful menu and I love this place. The Fasolada is perfect, tasty, hearty and definitely homemade. Coffee is also excellent. Thank you, we will return!

Lovely food, had mezze plat and baked hummus, never had it warm, game changer really comforting. The dolmades warm as well was another new sensation and were delicious. Great view and staff are friendly. Also dog friendly.

Great coffee, ambience, staff service & that view over Tenby Harbour

I have been visiting cafe vista for years, it’s my mums favourite cafe! It’s a lovely little family owned cafe with a beautiful menu. I walkway opt for the creamy mushrooms, they’re SO lovely. They also cater for lactose intolerant people like me with alternatives like oat milk. The staff are always so lovely and welcoming and the viewed out of the windows are beautiful showing the Tenby seafront, beach and harbour. Highly recommend.

Pretty decent place though if you plan to visit then make sure it is for a meal as at lunch time it gets busy and there are no levers for just drinks

Used Tripadvisor to find this place for lunch. Food (Panini and baked Avacado) were both very good, followed up by a delicious flapjack. Staff were very friendly. Cafe had a balcony which overlooked the harbour which on a sunny summers day would offer a perfect vista whilst eating. Would recommend this cafe and would return myself.

Always loved this place previously but we were refused entry this afternoon due to there “not being enough room” for two dogs - one a retired guide dog, and one fully fledged. There were 4 free available tables but this wasn’t good enough for the server who said there wasn’t enough room for us. Will never return unfortunately given such inhospitable and quite frankly shocking treatment.

In my opinion the best place to eat in Tenby. A perfectly sized menu with fresh well presented food and a good selection of cakes. Coffee is lovely staff are efficient and polite. Well done all x

Had lunch here while visiting Tenby. Food is freshly prepared and was absolutely stunning. A wide range of hot drinks, cakes or even a cheeky glass of wine is also available. Dog friendly too which is a must for us.

Really cute cafe with beautiful views of the beach. We visited a few times during our stay in Tenby. The toasties and coffee are delicious, and were served super fast. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance is great.

A lovely place to had breakfast over looking the harbour in Tenby. The breakfast I can honestly say was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. To top it off the staff a super friendly and helpful. Can’t think of a better place to start a days holiday.

Tasty food for breakfast and lunch. Lovely views from the balcony but not many tables out there. Masses of bacon on the Vista Breakfast and the Greek yoghurt had lots of fruit and honey in it. Good choice of Greek Cypriot dishes. Only downside was the scalding hot dish which burnt my arm.
