Caffe Nero - Newgate Street in City of London, Westminster

I ordered from here and over an hour and a half later my order didn’t arrive. I tried to speak to a foreign lady on the phone who would not stop interrupting me, and was aggressive and unprofessional. She offered no apology and showed no respect. Other staff seemed really nice and would likely make better managers!

I visit this cafe twice a week and this review is based on observations over few weeks. This cafe has staff rotation policy and this behaviour was mainly observed in 1 set of staff . The other set where I see Asian ladies , they are always in happy mood and give you warm welcome. When you go for morning coffee , the first thing you expect is warm smile , greetings and then order. But here the staff is always in rush , no greetings , no smile and then bit rude if you have some issues. I will not go in details but suggest to see why this is happening because in London baristas are quite friendly and ready to serve you in well manner. Could be they are under staff and this stress but my request would be to review this as it's becoming more and more obvious. Looking forward for change.

Un muy ocupado Caff Nero - Brillante, amable personal Deliciosos y bien presentados cafés. Vale la pena una visita y volveremos muy pronto.

La cafetería habitual que no ofrece nada especial, aparte de lo que hace cada Nero. Hay tantas cafeterías independientes pequeñas y peculiares que vale la pena el tiempo y el esfuerzo para disfrutar de su café.

Have been a few time to this Caffè Nero - and it’s always busy. The staff are consistent and cope efficiently with the typically suited corporate clientele. Good coffee too!

Possibly the most stupid barista i have ever seen. This equals cafe nero's Fawlty Towers. Not only did she not seem to know which order was for which customer, she blamed the coffee cup for the poor cup of coffee... It is the cup's fault she told me...Besides her command of the English language was appalling. I leave exasperated and frankly feeling like skipping any further visits to cafe nero.

Popped in for a coffee at Nero after receiving and offer for buy one get one free on festive drinks. Both drinks were lovely and the restaurant was nice and clean.

Never been to Caffe Nero's before but was pleasantly surprised with it. Went to this one and one in covent garden. Both places looked inviting and clean. Lots of business people and was busy. The counter had lots of muffin and cakes etc. I had a hot chocolate and was asked if I d like cream on top, which I did. An OMG moment came when first I saw it and second I tasted it. Very very chocolaty which was nice and down stair was a more chilled out and relaxed atmosphere. Went here twice as it was so good.

I come here every day from work and they always have friendly and pleasant staff. They make drinks as requested with a smile

In astinenza da caffeina siamo entrati in questo bar con insegna italiana. Mi dispiace ma non ci siamo proprio. Non pretendevo di bere un caffè perfetto ma mi aspettavo di meglio. Il caffè ha un retrogusto da bruciato, per niente italiano. In compenso il locale è carino con abbastanza posti a sedere.
