Hi. This evening I visited the St Enoch Cafe Nero branch. I had an iced oat milk pistachio latte and my friend had a hot chocolate. The drinks and service were amazing. We were served by this girl who was so nice. Will definitely be back! :)

The girl serving was so nice so she gets the 2 stars. There were no clean small cups. Counter behind strewn with dishes. Tables dirty, place unkempt and the toilet was disgusting, not checked, discarded tissues everywhere and VERY SMELLY! Obviously short staffed. Such a shame coz great location.

No me daría prisa. Went in for coffee and something to eat, with a couple of friends who stopped off In Glasgow. We all had toasted sandwiches, however they could only make two at a time, which meant two of us were almost finished by the time the other two were ready? It’s quite a big place, so what would they do if EVERYONE wanted a toastie ?

Lovely cafe situated in a lovely spot. The building is very attractive, looks like the house from a fairy tail. It enticed us to go in and we had some drinks. Lovely service and nice coffee, though I wish it was a bit larger. My only complaint is that our tables and chair were sticky, but that's that.

This cafe provided a warm, friendly atmosphere on a chilly morning. Nero provides a huge range of beverages along with an interesting selection of croissants. tostati, panini, soups and cakes. Even though Caffe Nero was constantly busy the staff were extremely efficient in their service provision and maintaining the cleanliness of the establishment. The cappuccino served was full bodied and had a rich aroma. Almond croissant made a great accompaniment to my beautiful coffee. If you are in the vicinity of Dundas/ West George street call in, a very pleasing experience.

Visited with my son for afternoon drink and snack. He ordered a cold coffee. The barista asked if he wanted cream on top and stated "no thanks". He went to get seats and I observed the barista putting cream on. I was dismissed by the barista who said I was wrong and my son had asked for cream. I was told to bring it back if it wasn't right. My son wanted the drink changed as he had not asked for cream. He took it to barista who in front of him scrapped cream off and handed him the drink back. Drink cost almost £4 so a fresh drink should have been made. In the end my son asked for a refund of money. Although the staff did then offer to make a fresh drink, it's down to the principle of it. Left feeing very awkward. A simple request ended up being an uncomfortable experience.

I would advise strongly against using this branch of Caffe Nero. I have felt pressurized to do so on several occasions due to work being carried out within Glasgow Queen Street Station and the need to find refreshments quickly to allow me to catch my next train. On each occasion which I can recall, the drink delivered was of an unsatisfactory standard. On my last visit, I had to reject the gingerbread steamer (hot milk with gingerbread syrup) that I was offered, as the flavour was so unpleasant. I then asked for a mocha. The barista was pleasantly accepting of my feedback but the mocha was rubbish - a frothy drink with too much coffee and too little chocolate (please consider Costa Coffee instead for this choice of drink). I asked for my cheese and ham croissant to be heated and despite the barista signalling to her fellow-barista on a couple of occasions, he allowed it to burn, did not advise me of this and popped it into a regular paper bag. When I arrived on the train, I tried to consume the drink and croissant but it was not worth persevering. Photos are included. The fact that a hot chocolate made using a Galaxy sachet of powder which I had to order from the train trolley tasted so good by comparison with the mocha should speak for itself. To add to my dissatisfaction, I would have found the above items from Caffe Nero overly priced, even if they had been of an average standard, which of course they were not. Why is this standard of service allowed?

use this place a lot as it's beside the train station. today ordered small cappuccino to take away. it was REALLY small. first time I've done this, but opened the lid and cleared the foam away - less than half a cup of coffee. took it back and to be fair it was replaced with a regular size without me having to pay the extra. apparently a cappuccino is 2 thirds coffee and one third foam......the one I bought wasnt even that. fed up being ripped off. not good practice Nero's. won't be back.

We have used this Nero a few times, generally been impressed by the efficient barrista, this time thing were a little sloppy, maybe too late in the day for efficiency. Got our drinks and when we found a table waitress was just clearing, she did not return to give it a wipe clean so we had a crummy service. Experienced barrista, (eastern European?) came out and went round all the tables wiping, while fatso helped herself to another pastry.

It seems this branch of Caffe Nero has been here for a number of years. I have just discovered it. I usually go about 5:30pm. It's west facing so the sun shines on it at that time. I love this place. The girls and guys are so nice it's like going to a friends place for coffee. It's lovely inside with large photo pictures on the walls. I buy my coffe then sit near the large window front and sip on my large caffe mocha with freshly whipped cream piled on top, and read my book. There are lots of very tasty looking cakes and biscuits. You can also have a sandwitch and a cold drink instead of coffee The armchairs are very comfy with little round marble tables dotted about. When I'm finished my coffee I get up for a glass of water with ice. I just don't want to leave. Caffe Nero in Crow road is a very inviting friendly place you want to keep going back to. One of the baristas there is a girl called Sho, she is so lovely, I feel as if I know her now. It's a pleasure to be served by her. I love this place, so will you. Anne x
