Caffè Nero Express in Camden

Poor service and Staff specially One Indian Guy was rude and showing his attitude Gave wrong order and Didn’t accept. Said Yes this is right order . If u wanna drink it then drink else will throw it and not gonna make again Wow great reply in early morning going for work and Thought we will have great coffee at nero. But was wrong.

Go to Pret or Starbucks instead! Really poor service and disinterested staff. Ordered a toasted ham and cheese and they gave it to someone else. After pointing it out, they said I was wrong - ironically mid sentence someone came over and said they ordered a toasted mushroom and mascarpone but had gotten a ham and cheese (which they had already bitten in to). Ended up leaving it as my train was shortly departing.

I ordered decaffeinated coffee and it was delicious. I liked the friendly young Asian male staff. When I went, the coffee came out quickly.

Express shouldn’t be in the title. Two people serving with two queues and decided not to tell our queue that the machine was broken. Was stood nearly 10 mins. Had to practically beg to be served.

I went in today to get a coffee from my 3 app. The barista ( white lady) who served me was so so rude. She barely acknowledged me when I asked about the discount, never told me to scan my app and barely even smiled. She handed me the coffee without saying thank you. My friend who accompanied me was served by the black barista who was perfect. While explaining to the black barista that the other barista had been curt, the white barista kept on going back and forth with me and didn't even offer an apology. I will never patronise this Cafe Nero Branch again ! I only gave two stars becaue of the pleasant black barista !!!! Went back today almost a year later the 24 th May 2024 and a gentleman called Mamoud served me. What exceelnt customer service. Please keep Mamoud!!!!!

Most of the time I come here, the baristas are rude and make my drink so bland. But on this occasion, I was served by Mahmoud. Big shoutout to Mahmoud! He was very friendly and helpful, definitely need more people like him working there. His kindness made my day. Also made my drink perfectly. :)

Our order took longer than 10 minutes even though it is called Nero Express. The whipped cream is crumbly and the barista did not fix it.

Pretty chill day on the Friday so quite quiet. Latte and Pistachio iced drink was made to a good standard

1st time finding white chocolate mocha in a cafe other than starbucks Loved it if you know the Canadian coffee shop called 2nd cup tastes like it’s white chocolate mocha

Conveniently located in King's Cross Station. My always go to for coffee before heading home. Coffee is always fresh and hot. Served by helpful staff.

Cafe Nero (by platform 9) employee Han Jing was absolutely amazing and knowing that I only have 5 mins until my train departs did the service super quick and he was super helpful! Also the heart on the coffee was super cute! He was Very kind and absolutely made my day.

I’d expect somewhere that describes itself as a coffee shop not to switch its coffee machine off 20 minutes before closing. Hopeless.

As much as I love Caffè Nero, it just don't make sence to have a long que and there are three staff members behind the tills and only two making coffee while the other is playing around with the bins, not very productive. Other than that, great service.

Received amazing customer service from the white, dark haired barista. He was very friendly and made the best strawberry milkshake I’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend and will 100% be returning!!!

I was served by the Mauritian/ Indian boy with a wanna be mullet. He was ever so kind and made such a good drink. I ordered a flat white and it was lush. It came with a pretty pattern which he put his whole body into making! An absolute darling, I will be returning.

A few weeks ago I was served by dark skinned kind young chap with bushy curly hair) his coffee was truely amazing, please give him a bonus and increase his pay!!

wait an incredibly long time in the queue, to then be met with the wrong drink and a horrible attitude from the barista. didn’t get his name unfortunately but was a white man with dark hair. this man should not be in a customer facing job. gross behaviour.

Every time I get to London I like to have a hot drink in this Cafe. Nero Cafe has something special.... With an italian ambiance reminds me of my travels in Italy

Just been made a large hot choc, which is under filled for a large and as a result is way too sweet. Disappointed

A horrible place with the worst management! Last time I came here, I waited in the queue for over 15 minutes even though it wasn’t busy. There was only one member of staff serving although the other till was open and another staff member was using his phone behind the food thinking nobody could see him. When I finally got the chance to order, I was served by a European chap who seemed very angry and cold (no acknowledgment whatsoever that he heard my order)- he certainly didn’t want to be there at all. When I requested my vegan roll to be heated slightly, he put it in a grill where a BACON ROLL was already being heated and dripping bacon grease. I pointed this out to the man and told him I was strict vegetarian and all he did in return was roll his eyes and tell me that this is an express and if I want that kind of luxury I should go to a store instead. I then asked why there were 2 separate grills and why one had an vegan tag on it if they mix everything anyway. This is when he flipped out and refused to serve me any longer. I asked to speak to the manager about this, a red haired woman who I felt was being very passive aggressive and condescending when telling me that when they’re in a rush they mix their food grills. Funny thing is, there was only one other person there when I was being served…..definitely worth rushing for, especially seeing as half the reviews are complaining about their slow service. Don’t recommend this place at all.

Had a “salted caramel and pistachio frappé crème”. The most disgusting drink drink ever ...4£wasted in the bin Who even does that it was literally cream and ice without no flavour whatsoever.

Amazing baristas with very fast service ! Was waiting for a train and had 5 drinks made in less than 3 minutes ! Wonderful team always get my coffee of top standard and always appreciate their hard work ( considering they are the only coffee store open at 5.30Am! and sometimes close as late as midnight! ) and I always leave a tip to appreciate their work!

Be advised, early travellers, that this Nero Express advertises an 0530hrs opening time on most days but practices a giddy "will they, won't they" approach to that opening time that adds a certain frisson to the morning 🙄 The coffee is as one would hope from a Nero but the fact that they can't be relied upon drags the rating down. 18th November. Another failure to open on time. 22nd November. Another failure to open on time. 23rd November. Opened some three minutes late. 29th November. Opened a hair early. 30th November. 0532hrs two members of staff (male, glasses, knit cap and female with hair in a top knot) exit the kiosk, rollie cigarettes in hand, for a smoke off site. In front of a small queue of 4 people. Let that sink in. They walk off the job in front of customers.

Takes forever to get drinks even with just one person in front of you. Seems ALL THE STAFF are trainees lol. But they are trying so thats that. The station is forever doing maintenance works around the entrance so we always need to walk the long way around to the shop.

Satisfactory, fast service. I didn’t need much more than that really. I was the 4th in line and only had to wait for like 3 minutes. I order a cappuccino with oat milk and it was a decent coffee for the day.

Too slow. A growing queue, 3 staff on, but only two tills open whilst one member of staff potters around cleaning items.

Customer service is somewhat satisfactory - not the worst but can definitely be better. However the waiting time was horrendous where only one out of the three staff was actually working! This slowed down other people from ordering and took way too long to generate two small drinks. However beyond all of this, the drinks were nice!!

Cashier called Ellen was absoloutely amazing. Warm welcome & very polite. Beautiful person within, you need more stock shifters like this lady. I came today to order a hot choc with oat milk.. Ellen made my chocolate delicious, whilst i await for my train at Kings Cross. Thank you for your great service.

The slowest service ever…One girl that is preparing coffee, the other staff members are walking around with their drinks don’t even bother that the queue is extremely long and customers can be late for their trains. Better and faster at Pret

Filthy work area. Most staff didn’t wear mask during the peaks of the pandemic & spoke over the drinks ( still happens ) you’re better off going to Starbucks round the corner. Like the other user said, I notice too that they mix vegan food and meats together. Not suitable for halal diet!

Terrible customer service. I don’t appreciate waiting so long when I’m the third person in the queue. There’s only one person serving and taking all the orders, while one or two people are in the back ignoring it. I queued so long I left. I went to Pret to get a coffee instead and I was served within seconds.

Enjoyed the americano cafe nero, bit of a long a queue, but it was peak hours, staff did there best.

Stood there being ignored by both people working there. A couple of real miseries. Thought forget this, and went to Pret.

Friendly staff but this stall is CASHLESS, so 1 star. Just very frustrating because travellers/tourists often only have cash and this stall is in a train station. There are no big signs saying Card Only, you only find out at the till.

Whilst the coffee is good I find it disgusting that you only get loyalty points if you pay by phone. Also you would think that on today's climate you would get money off for using your own cup, but you don't you still pay full price. That will be the last time I use caffe nero after 20 years.

Came in for a cup of coffee and got what I wanted. Not quite up to par with what I was hoping for considering the price.

Not my favourite coffee ever. I was making the order and the Asian staff member kept on referring to my male colleague for what? Not sure coffee was a near miss.

Great team working here, had a gift card and they offered to check the balance without being asked. They acknowledge customers who are queuing whilst serving. Sausage sandwich was great, H.P sauce given x2 sachet, which is an added bonus, muffins are delicious and good quality. Do what they say and that's an express.

Great place to sit and have a doppio espresso and sandwich, waiting for a train to the Continent. Fantastic service by Constantino. They will heat up the sandwiches, if that's your thing. They also give you a heads up that the water you grabbed is sparkling just in case you didn't realize. Thanks for looking out!

A great place to grab a coffee very quickly before you have to catch your train

Quick service with a selection of grab and go snacks for commuters/travellers to choose from. Two queues to speed up service at peak which is good. One queue not in use due to a spillage but floor area cleaned up quickly by a member of the team here (however surface was still covered in residue of the spillage which wasn’t great but there was a queue building.)

Just had the best coffee I had in aaaages, only thanks to a gentleman barista who put a tiny bit of effort into asking how I like it ... Wish all baristas were a bit more like him! X

Quick efficient service. A good selection of pastries / panini's and other take away food items. The coffees taste great.

Givinig 5 stars as my nostalgy Cafe. Missing its design, sometimes a bit dirty tables, no good espresso but amazing Espresso Con Panna.....yes chain cafe but the best to compare starbucks or Costa Coffee.

Love their Mocha Frappuccino. Friendly staff.

Fast. Friendly. Not so cheap, but always stop here if I need a hot drink to and from Kings X. Always ask for your discount when you use your mug for life.

Usually pick up a coffee from here when waiting to get on train to Hertfordshire on Platforms 9 and 10. Staff are reasonably quick, coffee is good and good for the train journey. Very convenient.

Friendly staff. The only downside from my point of view is that all the drinks are in takeaway cups. I prefer mine out of proper cups but then again I may just be old fashioned
