My son and I had the misfortune to come here for a snack whilst visiting the airport. The coffee and sandwiches were very nice, but I was served by a young, very rude female assistant. She could have politely asked me to move to another part of the counter to await our food and drinks, but she rudely gestured for me to move, in a very disrespectful way, and as if I was unable to understand English. A man standing nearby raised his eyebrows in surprise, or shock. The girl almost threw the food down on the tray, and when I asked her for a knife to cut my toasted sandwich up, she rudely replied "it's already cut". I told her that I wanted to cut it up a bit more. She then threw a wooden knife and fork on the tray. I was polite, and thanked her, but I felt upset, it spoiled my day. If I had been the argumentative type, I would have politely asked her to have some manners. But I don't argue with people in public. Maybe she was having a bad day but politeness costs nothing. . She needs some training in better customer service. I'm not in the habit of complaining and saying negative things about people. I am a full-time carer for my disabled son..this was meant to be a special treat after recovering from our 3rd lot of Covid. Life isn't easy for anyone. The way you're treated can make an enormous difference between feeling happy and extremely low. It can make or break you. Please bear that in mind.

Heathrow is a good airport, but unfortunately this terminal does not have anything except for duty free, couple shops and this Caffe Nero. But they do have some warm food and most importantly... beer. Lots of room to sit down with tables and chairs and some soft seating with phone charging ports.

I had previously not enjoyed Caffè Nero coffees as they were very strong, but I did not have a huge choice at Terminal 2. I chose to have a toasted ham and cheese sandwich which was absolutely delicious. I had an enjoyable cup of tea. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I was totally surprised by the huge cafe with many luxurious comfy sofas and chairs, and also a large library of books to read whilst you wait for your flight. I was very happy to relax, and even charge my phone. I shall certainly return to enjoy this cafe.

I love walking into restaurants and using my translator. This was my first time at this airport and buying food from this location, specifically in Terminal 2 by Gate B44. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience. The lady in the picture was speaking very ill and rudely about me to the guy in the picture. It’s a public place, and her behavior was extremely rude and demeaning. She kept making fun of me, and I haven’t felt so humiliated. It's one thing to hear about discrimination online, but experiencing it firsthand as an immigrant is truly disheartening. I would not recommend this place. This lady was incredibly rude, and it's unacceptable to speak badly about people just because they don't understand your language.

Inside Heathrow right before you leave. Very spacious cafe with lots of sorted seating. From stools to padded chairs to large sofas. Picked up a black large coffee for 3.95. Perfect for taking a moment. I say check it out.

On April 21st I went to Caffè Nero at Heathrow Terminal 2 Gates B to treat myself with a double espresso. When I approached the cafe two baristas were tidying up and noticed me only after a while. Even though they noticed me, they didn't stop talking in a foreign language, which was quite rude and not the first time happened to me at this cafe... I ordered my coffee and decided to pay by a voucher. After scanning the QR code, the barista pointed on my iPhone saying "give me". Of course, without any "could you" or "would you"... I thought something went wrong with scanning the QR code so I turned around my iPhone so she could have a look. Much to my surprise, she started to click very quickly on my iPhone and then she said to me "click submit"! She gave herself feedback on my Nero App without my consent!!! I can't believe she had the audacity to do so! Something like this should have no place at all. Give this place a wide berth!

I only get coffee from here as there is no choice. Staff always offer you different beans, but neglect to say that one costs extra - feels like they are trying to trick you. They won’t sell a small coffee - again feels like they just want you to spend more. The new M&S next door sells better (and cheaper) pasties.

I'd give zero stars if that would be possible. Absolutely terrible service and a rude employee (older man). Labeling me as "dumb" just because their card reader was malfunctioning. He came around to try it himself and didn't manage to make it work either. Caffè Nero should pay closer attention to how their employees treat their customers!

The location is the only saving grace of this branch. I got a toastie that tasted like cardboard. I also got myself two oat flat whites, one via their online app. After waiting for 10+ minutes, it turned out that they never received the order because their iPad was not properly signed in. It took 4 guys to figure this out and one of them was pushing me from one side of the counter to another, god knows what for. When the drink came, it was made way too hot for a flat white and didn't taste good. The other oat flat white came with regular milk and only upon double-checking did I realise because it didn't taste like oat. I am lactose intolerant and this could've been a serious issue if I was severely allergic to it. No apologies whatsoever. I've lived in London for 12 years, never went to a Caffe Nero, and if this is the standard they go by, I will never come back. Very happy with my local London coffee shops.

Whilst very friendly, the service was extremely slow. I had to wait for around fifteen minutes even though the queue in front of me only had 7 people and there were three employees. It seem that not all employees were able to do all jobs, so only one till was manned. The employee at till was also heading up sandwiches which took ages leading me to take my sandwich cold. It was unclear what the third employee was doing besides standing around chatting. Compared to pret, this is just slow and inefficient. Especially at an airport, time is key.

I asked for a pistacchio latte to have it there and i would like to have it in a china cup and the man started an argument saying that they give just in paper cups to have it in. I asked why the have the china if they can use them. The man talked in his own language to the other employee. I couldn't understand what they were saying. I found it quite rude that. On top all the arguments, just to have a coffee. Then he said that the dishwasher was broken for 3 weeks. Why didn't he say that from the beginning instead of being so rude. Then he just left and called someone else ,same thing saying something that we couldn't understand. I asked again for the drink, but at the end we left I was so stress to enjoy the drink. Before he started to prepare it I said leave it. We left. How comes that a place like your company can have the dishwasher broken for 3 weeks and then as he said first that they don't use the china cups, why do they display. It is very bad service, specially that you are in arrivals, people go there to wait for people coming or foreigners that they arrived and they would relax. Tell me how can you relax. Worst café nero I have been england.

If you have plenty time to spare and not sure about your gate number, this Nero is 15 mins walk after security checks, it is nice and quiet, food and coffee is nice and sockets everywhere to plug your gadgets in! The usual slop from Nero. Pictured is a Flat White, they have no idea whatsoever how to make one. Zero care, zero understanding of what texture of milk should be used. It's only only coffee shop in the B section of the terminal so you have no choice. The staff are nice hence an additional star, but as ever Nero can't make coffee, more mass produced buckets of caffeine.

I had the most terrible and disturbing experience ever here. I wanted to get a bottle of water and a scone prior my flight. When I was at the check out, a staff with glasses on kept asking me if I wanted still water or sparkling water and I was confused about that as I thought I had grabbed a bottle of still water on my end. Instead of explaining himself further, he repeated the question for a few times and said "do you speak English?" although I had had put in my order with him already (I wonder if he would ask the same question to non-Asian looking people). After I answered "I want still water", he pointed to the bottle of the water I had and said "This is sparkling water. I don't understand why this is so difficult." He appeared to be inpatient and annoyed. EXCUSE ME? The staff was very much rude and racist, showing no respect to customers. Only after I told him that I was going to report his behavior, he started to trying to be nice to me. :) This is the worst customer experience I have ever had in my entire life.

AVOID THIS STORE RUDE RUDE STAFF To the manager of this store: Please train your people and learn yourself how to treat customers. Rude staff. I was on line for 7+ minutes waiting to pay, then they closed the line and no one said anything, when asked they just said we had to move to the other line (which was pretty busy as well) when told that this was disrespectful to me as customer, staff ignored me. The one Caffè Nero to avoid for sure! This was the slowest service I’ve ever received from Caffe Nero. Knowing they are at the airport near departure terminals which means people are usually in a rush, it took them 7 minutes to only make 1 coffee! Stood in a queue after a poor chap who just wanted to scan some juice to take on a plane, while 3 people behind the desk “looking busy”: one putting away cutlery and another one explaining a trainee where each cup goes… I appreciate that people might require training etc, however maybe best not to do this when 8 people are standing waiting in a queue. And then casually taking the order and taking 7 minutes to prepare one latte! Wow! Such incredibly bad service during the rush hours of the afternoon. Only reason had to stay in a queue as it’s the only place in B section of terminal 2… and also staff refused to take £50 note saying it’s company policy not to accept £50 notes…. Like which company has this type of policy?! Ridiculous

After a disappointing experience initially, I’m pleased to say the lounge team has since taken great steps to address my concerns. I had left my headphones in the lounge before my flight, and they went missing under unclear circumstances. The lounge management reached out, investigated the matter thoroughly, showing their commitment to resolving the issue. Their responsiveness has given me a renewed confidence in the staff’s willingness to assist and amend issues when they arise. I appreciate the efforts they’ve made to turn this situation around.

I was scouting for vegan dessert in the area and Amore did not disappoint! There was a selection of different desserts available, some were vegan. I had the vanilla cheesecake, which could be made with toppings - I chose Biscoff. The cheesecake was one of the best! Highly recommend this option!
