Visited recently some new staff gave poor customer service made awful drink and over charged me. Regular customer and I want to give good review only for staff who deserve it.

The Asian guy working at caffe nero is absolutely amazing, i would come back to this caffe just for his great service!

I've been coming here for years. The Italian staff are brilliant. They make the drinks quickly. The new staff post COVID are cr@p. They don't make eye contact. My coffee order is always a mess. If they could slingbthe coffee across the counter they would.

Nero offers a pleasant experience with excellent service that is both efficient and accommodating. The friendly staff adds to the positive atmosphere. However, as a frequent visitor, I've observed a consistent challenge in finding available seats. Comparatively, the seating ambiance at the Southfields branch surpasses the one here. Additionally, an issue arises as the presence of regular vagrants outside and in often leads to an unpleasant aroma around the cafe.

My experience in the shop today was extremely unpleasant. I was served by a Somali young man. Name is not known as he was not wearing a name badge . He was eating at the front counter. He didn’t wash his hands when taking our order. During our time there he was in a heated conversation with his colleague. It was uncomfortable watching the other colleague having to continue her work while dealing with his poor behavior. When he was using the equipments he failed to clean them properly leaving it for his colleague to do that. He even left her to work and decided to sit outside. There was also a customer who was waiting at the till while he was on his phone. He had the customer waiting until he was done texting to serve him.

Nice place but I found quite expensive and I did not injoy the coffee as as costa

Price for cake was a bit much. The size of the cake was worth £1!

Terrible service. Not only the attitude, but why do they give me something to consume inside if there are no places available to sit?

14.09.2023 two rude ignorant ladies at the till, coffee was too sweet and bitter at the same time but the cake was good

The food is not really for me but the coffee is the best, especially the single origin specials such as Brazilian blend and el Salvador. Not enough outdoor seating but that's okay because then everyone sits together and chats with complete strangers which is lovely!

Coffee is getting worse and worse.

Ordered 2 coffees. That was it. The queue moved quick.

One of staff was only intersed in telling a customer about her life. Ignored u.

Busy place. Location good on the outside of a mall. The rest pretty normal

The branch was staff shortage, so tables were left looking sad.

Small area. There are a few sockets around, so if you want to charge a laptop or phone. Not many good height tables though if you want to sit and work for a long period. When I went during midday it was quiet and nice atmosphere. Had a coffee which was also nice. Smoking area outside which walkers by seems to use to have a smoke. Few came in and sat inside without buying as well. The two staff seemed nice. Cleaned the tables often.

Looks-feels tired drab unattended. Staff at times seem uninterested in patrons more involved in them self's. Toilet facilities smell unkempt. Dishwasher always breaking down washing crockery by hand not hygienic. The competition are moving ahead in all these areas.

Another delicious Chai Latte was consumed on this day.

The staff member didnt even greet us not even a hello should always greet your customers we were on holiday and keep these cafes going least you could do is say hello

It's a very nice place in the area but a few old chairs need to new one

My friend and I had a hot chocolate each. Delicious. Good service and not too busy for 1 o clock.

Decided to get a hot chocolate before the movies and it was delicious! Calm and pretty clean. I went close to closing time so wasn't that messy etc. Staff can look a bit more happier but I guess you can't ask to much in this field. They are most likely tired and happy it's nearing the end. Would recommend 👍

Every time I go in Caffè Nero for a hot chocolate...they never make it hot enough and sometimes it is far tooo sweet!

There's not much to say, really. Not a bad place to take a timeout on your daily venture shopping, etc.

Nice location and barista is not too bad

Christmas came to Caffè nero you can't about to try the new flavours, they are delightful. For this winter let's go cosy and worm with the chocolate special or the mocha one you will be not regret. Enjoy a safe time with your lovely drink and naybe a book, the company of a friend or your favourite music or podcast anyway you can't miss it the new flavours.

Terrible service and horrible staff who all looked miserable and were so dismissive.

We go in here because there isn’t much choice, but given the choice I wouldn’t. It’s always freezing. The Staff get hot working and turn the AC up to the max, but the AC vents are over the customers not the counter, so it’s like sitting in a windy freezer. Really unpleasant. Also, the chairs are always pushed to the side, making it really cramped.

Found it a bit messy and untidy. The barrista was okay not friendly at all. The hot drinks were okay

Quite dull inside and still shabby though the filthy sofas have gone. A friendly member of staff who worked hard.

Inviting and polite staff , coffee and food selections are varied and good quality. And the overall atmosphere of the Caffe was cozy and inviting. The staff really made my day by complementing my fashion choices (specifically my bag) which was really nice . Will be going here again on my next visit to the centre (*˘︶˘*).｡*♡

The cashier taking my order provided a friendly service, however, the barista (south east asian lady) making the mocha was plain rude when she handed the coffee she had her back turned and just swung her arm around and slammed the drink on the counter, no word or look to say here is your drink. I expect the hates her job or has some other issues going on with herself but please do not take this out on your paying customers. Perhaps you can learn from your Nero Holborn colleagues who provide a better service.

Wandsworth.To day filthy tables once again😦😡 I cleaned with tissue and sanatiser tissue was bordering black. Checked tables on my way out ALL stained dried in food disgusting. Well staffed no excuse!!!!

I went to get served and instead of serving me the next two was served instead. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

Lovely atmosphere despite the fact it's based in close to busy road and in shopping centre. Only plus would be it toilets would be open, that's all.

Food and drink were normal fare but compared with other Caffè Nero's there was little atmosphere. The tables could have been cleared and cleaned alot quicker than they were too.

Cold coffee. Every single time. Even if I ask for extra hot.

The usual Caffe Nero experience. I really fancied a hot chocolate on a very cold day and it was delicious, but I did have to send back the first cup because the milk was only heated to luke warm - second time lucky!

It's a CN, nothing all that different from the others. The staff is quick and polite and the place is tiny but comfortable with many charging stations fpr your phone. Not bad.

I ordered a latte with oat milk , clearly I said hot please. I got a cold cup, when I asked to change it the guy argued. Disrespectful. I am here to change my mood not to argue .

First of all, the shop is absolutely disgusting it’s dirty! Considering we’ve come out of a pandemic - where’s the continued hygiene? The floors look like they’ve never been swept or mopped! Under the fridge is full of broken glass, wrappers and food.. basically inviting mice! The tables are not cleaned and wiped down between customers.. Staff are unfriendly!

I expect the staff cleaning up the tables frequently more.

This outlet is a bit bare in terms of stock etc compared to your average Cafe Nero in the area

Very good espresso ristretto, which is rare to get, even if its only a shorter shot. But coffee grains quality must have played a part too

Nice coffee shop. Located in Southside shopping centre. Ordered a small latte which was absolutely tiny. I noticed that there was no attempt to wipe any tables after customers had left .

Prompt service and nice staff. Tables are spaced apart and one-way system in operation with signs. Clear signs for masking wearing in the queue and information for Track and Trace logging in. Reason for 4/5 is that tables are not cleaned by Caffè Nero staff - cleaning supplies are provided and you have to do this yourself at each table. Policy is meant to be that all tables are cleaned in between users. However, plenty of cleaning materials are available to do this yourself.

Quite Nero's situated by the Garrett Lane entrance to Southside shopping centre. About a dozen small tables. Usual selection of coffee, pastries, cakes and hot savoury sandwiches. Two entrances: the outdoor entrance is surrounded by outdoor tables ie smokers. Use the shopping centre entrance to access the inside door. Alternatives is Costa at the other entrance of the shopping centre. My preference is definitely Nero's. Today's visit: the barista was great!

Es una cafeteria de cadena, el café y el té son buenos. Tienen varias cosas para tomar un tentempié y además hay muchísimas por Londres. A veces aunque se vean pocas mesas, hay en la planta baja, y puede resultar un sitio tranquilo para hacer una parada y tomar algo. Tienen alguna cosa de comer para celiacos, pero son todas dulces. Lo recomiendo. La calidad es la misma en todos, y además tienen casi siempre una promoción por el número de cafés que tomas, premiando así la fidelización de los clientes. Ah! Y cualquiera que sea el importe puedes pagar con tarjeta!!!

Terrible customer service!! They have always friends of them talking at the end of the counter which they give them priority as supposed to paying customers!! The terrace is a mess dirty, the toilet is always out of use it's seems that they force them to work there, the should have training on giving an experience, smiling, they should enjoy work. It made me feel bad when I ask for some ice water the young guy (polish) shouted to me, there is water there at the entrance!!! It the hottest day in England and the water jugs are hot ! He was so rude, I was waiting for other friends to have a coffee but after this ....no way I will spend money in a place like this

Out of all the coffee chains I think Nero is my favourite...

Busy coffe shop inside the Southside shopping centre but having enough staff on board they do really quick and good service as well. However, I had this time a little issue with the mobile application which caused some misunderstandings between me and the duty supervisor, but they were absolutely helpful to find a resolution and on top of that even generously offered me an extra stamp as a compensation. Never can get disappointed for this coffee shop chain.

I don't understand the working of a barista. I gave my order and then a few minutes later someone appeared in the queue beside me and her and the next person managed to get their drinks before me by another barista. Why ask someone what they want if you are still busy making a drink?

Did not like the customer service at cafe Nero Southside Wandsworth. The two staff members, one of whom was the manager was very rude and failed to tell me any extra charges with my coffee before paying. Also the other man working ignored customers and failed to clean up spillages on the floor. Health and saftley alert!!! No excuse for rudeness and lack of health and safety clean ups. Will Never come back!

Ideal for a quick coffee and cake

I have to admit that I always try to find a Cafe Nero when I want a cup of coffee in the UK. Consistently good, with lovely brownie slices, reasonable choice of salads for lunch. A little bit more expensive than some coffee shops, but worth it.
