This afternoon my family and I were craving pizza and found this lovely place , it was our first time coming and the pizza did not disappoint, on top of that the staff are lovely people and were very attentive, nothing but kindness.Would definitely come here again .. and a HUGE bonus it’s also DOG FRIENDLY 😎perfect place for the summer vibez

Such a lovely bar. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They brought our drinks over to us and even gave our daughters a complimentary pastry. We've driven past this bar many times and always thought it looked nice but had never popped in before. We'll definitely be making a point to pop in regularly in the future.

Bit misleading. This café is open until 10pm, but they stop serving coffee at 4. Don’t walk all the way as I did thinking you could get a late brew here.

Such a great place! A vibe between a café and a pub. We went for early dinner. The service was very friendly and helpful, and we had amazing pizzas and wine. We ordered vegan pizzas (not feeling like something heavy) and they were absolutely delicious and had a great size too! You won't leave hungry! Doggy friendly place beside so extra points. We will certainly go back. Strongly recommended!

Whacky mix of cyclists, pizza, good fun

Pleasantly suprised. I'm a good eater and rarely eat out as takeaways are cheaper and more filling. But, its my birthday so decided to eat out . Staff, not pressuring you, calm relaxing place...decided to eat. Both our pizzas were gorgeous ...no complaints.. left with a full belly. Thank you.

The Margherita pizza, with some nduja 🤤 so good!! Great base, great tomato sauce, great chilli oil!

The most delicious pizzas with some great choices of bases and toppings. Good range of beers and wines. Friendly, awesome staff. Will be back.

Food is lovely. Slightly expensive but the service needs some work. Felt a bit headless chickens at times. I would suggest introducing sections for each member of waiting staff to look after.

The Pizza was fresh and ingredients super tasty. So easy to make, Pizza can so easily disappoint. Dynamo didn’t, the food was great and the staff attentive. Our dog even got super attention. A lovely Friday evening dinner. Loved it.

Went to Dynamo for my partners birthday meal, the food was amazing, and the staff made extra effort to make the birthday meal more special, 100% would recommend, a great restaurant for all occasions.

I pass this place all the time and never think to go in but it’s such a lovely little spot. Went for the first time today and there were plenty of different brunch options. The service was quick and friendly. There was a cute little dog who kept us entertained ☺️ I don’t cycle but there seems to be a bit of a theme and lots of cyclists were there and there is space to put your bike whilst you refuel. I’ll defo come again!

Great pit-stop post richmond park laps. Good coffee. Service is hit or miss. Some days a warm welcome, other days it’s ‘go sit outside and use the app’ (adding another ten mins on to chance of getting quick coffee). Seems to depend on mood of staff rather than busyness.

Love The Dynamo, been coming here for years both as a cyclist - it’s the perfect post-ride destination - and a general punter (the brunch is as good as you will find anywhere). They cater for children but could absolutely do with a kid-specific menu, and some of the Team Sky pics could do with updating, but the sweeping images of climbs are really cool. Great coffee if that’s your thing.

Nice place to stop after a ride, big screens with latest stages of the current races but, I've found prices for coffe and pastries excessive. 3 almond croissants and 3 coffees almost 30 quid (29,80).. I don't know...maybe more elaborate food is worth it but the simple stuff...

Warm, friendly cycling themed cafe. Coffee and food always good (Chorizo Hash a personal favourite). Reasonably priced for the area. Home to a lovely in-house Border Collie.

I had seen on SM that was a good spot for cyclists. We made a detour to go and we are glad we did. Lovely friendly service, plenty of space for our bikes, great food, coffee - nice and simple. Like the cycling theme. Was told if you come at weekend it is very busy and you should book in advance your bike space indoors, good idea. Would go again.

Great place for brunch especially if you are a cyclist. Indoor and outdoor dining. Can be very busy. Many vegetarian options which was great.

This is one of my favourite Putney neighbourhood places for brunch or just a morning coffee. Staff are super friendly, the food is delicious/healthy, and it is dog-friendly. Strongly recommend!

Mixed. Weird breakfast items don’t all work. Not many “normal” breakfast options.

Cycle themed cafe with good brunch and breakfast options. We had brunch and cocktails on a Sunday, was fairly busy with cyclists, families and brunch go-ers. Book ahead to avoid disappointment. Excellent selection of options including for vegetarians. The ingredients were high quality, especially the eggs.

Although this a mainly a cycling cafe I have been a few times with my baby twins and double buggy. Very baby friendly, have always been happy to accommodate us on a big enough table. Really good food and service.

Came here for a pre-birthday breakfast. I’m very local who has lived off Deodar Road for 20 years. Manager was rude when we asked to sit at a booth, said no you will get a two table. Not very accommodating and short in attitude. The table we were given was unstable and when we told the manager he said I guess you want to move and didn’t take us to the table, just pointed and stormed off. What’s wrong with him? He needs to calm down. Rest of staff were lovely. We won’t be back I’m afraid, had a similar vibe last time we came in. Not acceptable for today’s dinning establishments.

The food and drinks are excellent in quantity, taste and appearance. The prices are sensible. The staff are very friendly and always warm and accommodating, even when our group of ladies get chatty and overstay their welcome. Love this restaurant!

The pizza in this place is superb

One of the female staff, was working on Sunday shift was pretty rude and unhelpful. The others were very welcoming and the food was quite delicious.

Went as part of a group and there was a mix of orders across their menu. Food was very good on all fronts, quick to come out and tasty. Although a lovely young lady took our orders, two male members of staff that served us were very unpleasant. The taller, balding man who has his dog at the front (to be clear, loved the dog and she was very friendly. Perhaps her owner could take a leaf out of her book) was particularly rude.

I visited the café last Sunday morning to meet up with friends. While the coffee was enjoyable, I couldn’t help but notice that the staff appeared somewhat distant and cold, which surprised me given the easy-going atmosphere of the place. There was a small incident when I inquired about cinnamon for my latte, and the response was a bit abrupt. It’s possible that the male staff member who served me may have been having an off day. Just a heads-up for anyone planning to visit!

Mar 2023 This was an online order through deliveroo. After reading previous comments can confirm the manager Jack is incredibly rude. I politely told him that the images on the partner website were misleading as to the quantity of food you get in reality I.e. 1.5 sausages photographed topside to look like three. Everything else was accurate so assumed a mistake which he was quite defensive about it and repeated the image is of 1.5 sausages not really acknowledging my point and saying 'we've never had any complaints a red flag of a response from any customer service rep! I then called back because I realised only one of the two portions I ordered had been delivered, not in anger just to say keep an eye on what's going out. He responded by saying you're clearly unhappy mate and there's nothing I can do, I told him I wasn't unhappy I just thought he should know (as I would if I was running a restaurant) he then kept repeating you're clearly unhappy mate trying to goad me into a response at which point I realised I was talking someone with the mentality of a child and as such the conversation was futile. Jack my advise to you my friend is you might need a change of profession or maybe take some time off? I'm worried about you mate and I'm sure your colleagues are not to mention the impact you'll inevitably have on the business. Just to reiterate the quality of food is excellent. Have you been using Google reviews as a chat forum again?? Regarding the objectivity of my review, it was as objective as I wanted it be thanks Joe. It clearly set out the terrible experience I had with your rude employee. On to my final point Joe (nearly there)! Yes ideally there wouldn’t have been any need for what you have so dramatically termed a personal attack. I feel exactly the same way about how I was treated on the phone by Jack. My review was largely to warn others about Jack because honestly I don’t believe he takes polite constructive criticism very well and I would go as far to say he has an issue with his anger. I won’t be recommending Dynamo to friends and family because of Jack’s poor annger management and would want others to be aware of my experience. This is what a review is… it’s entirely up to you Joe if you or Jack wish to defend anything I’ve said. I personally couldn’t care less wether you did or didn’t. What I will say to you now Joe is that you may want to spend more time on FOH staff procurement and less time responding to people who asked nothing of you.

The breakfast was awful you need to advertise that it is streaky bacon with no bacon just fat! The worst bacon and egg roll I have had coffee was average and small cup. 1st and last time coming here Noise from busy road also

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with choosing the meals. I had the chorizo hash. It was delicious. However, I would say it’s heavy for one of the hottest days of the year. The menu was so good I really was struggling to decide what to order. The coffee was nice, I would have liked the latte to be a little bigger. Outside of that was a great place. I will definitely be going back the next time I am in London.

I've been here to meet up with my baby group as well as for a treat brunch for myself. The staff are very friendly it's very laid back and relaxed. The food is great, I go for the brunch options but they also do pizzas. Some of the combinations sound odd but everything has tasted great. There is lots of space for bikes outside or inside on a rack. Also space for prams inside.

I give this place five stars because of its nice breakfast / brunch menu and always had a good experience. Worth a visit.

I recently had breakfast at The Dynamo in London and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. Here's a brief review: The quality of the food was generally good. The flavors were satisfying, and the ingredients appeared to be fresh and well-prepared. My experience was somewhat overshadowed by the service. While the staff was not overtly unfriendly, there seemed to be a lack of attentiveness and warmth that one might expect during a breakfast outing. This aspect could have certainly contributed to a more pleasant atmosphere. However, there was a hiccup that dampened my overall experience. Upon receiving the bill, I noticed that a service charge had been automatically added. While I understand that this is a common practice in many restaurants, it's essential to respect the fact that service charges are non-obligatory, as indicated by official government sources. It was disappointing to see this charge added without any prior acknowledgment or consent.

Best pizza and coffee in Putney hands down and always a warm welcome. The Dynamo has become our go to spot for a midday coffee or lunch and they've always been super accommodating with our little one.

My favourite dish is the chorizo hash. The tomato sauce is delicious

Dynamo is on the way home on my nine mile cycle commute. Having found I had a puncture I called in on the offchance they may be able to sell me an innertube or repair kit. The staff there were fantastic, providing me tools, a place to prop my bike and pump. Weirdly the air in my tire got me back the remaining eight miles or so to Streatham which I can only conclude means that they have some form of magic air for tires?! Anyway it was very much appreciated thanks guys!

My partner & I visited for lunch on Saturday early afternoon. We both had a pizza each. The pizzas were pretty good quality and priced about where you would think they should be. There was no check-back notably. Towards the end of my partners pizza, she noticed a strand of hair baked into the cheese of her pizza which was too long to be mine and to short and wrong colour to be hers. We alerted the wait staff who offered to make another pizza however we were both nearly finished and too full for more food. We asked for the bill which we paid in full after asking for the service to be removed. Overall, a pretty cool place which could have been a much better experience if there was no hair in the cheese of the pizza and if the service had been removed from the bill as a means of apology. Unlikely we would return.

Great place for breakfast. Very good coffee, smooth, rich and aromatic. We had shakshuka and scrambled eggs, both really tasty. Prompt and friendly service, nice vibe inside, also has outdoor seating.

EDIT 20/6/23: Locks now installed and CCTV being sorted so happy to update review, really appreciate the quick response and efforts here :) Great cafe on the whole with excellent pizza and drinks, but after a spate of recent thefts of personal belongings and bikes, it was disappointing to hear management take little interest in creating a safer environment and have no working CCTV at the front of the premises either. This is a popular spot for cyclists, and the cycling community acknowledge that bikes are always left at the owner's risk even when in the racks inside, but would be grateful if, like other cafes, simple locks are provided to act as a deterrent.

Amazing food (full dynamo, hash and French toast in particular)! We love it here and highly recommend it. Plus the staff are always so lovely!

It was a sunny day and loved the outdoor seating, however everything else about our experience was “meh” and were extremely disappointed with the service. We were “greeted” by a miserable guy, who basically said sit anywhere and never returned to the table until the food came. We had to get up for water and again to order our food. He then had the cheek to charge 12.5% service charge. We never got asked about how our food was, nor if we wanted anymore drinks. The ice coffee I ordered was warm and the pizza was average, so having spent over £20 each on lunch I was very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Halloumi bap revived my hangover a$$

This place was an absolute rip off. I left hungry, the food was so bland and small portions, £4.70 for an orange juice for my 3 year old, and nearly 10 for a bacon sandwich one strip, a slight spread of avacado. no sides or anything. My sons pizza was left sitting there for 10 min before anyone passed it to us. One of the servers just gave me the pay machine no receipt so I couldn’t even check what was on there. I had to ask for a receipt and they look annoyed. Will never come back, a shame as I live across the road and I would’ve been a regular. It would be nice to be compensated for a bad experience so hopefully I can consider coming back.

One of the best pizzas in London. The tomatoes on the pizza absolutely pop with vibrancy and taste. Really recommend.
