Perfect coffe good service quick and easy!

Imagine a cup of coffee made with burned milk. It is so hot that you can’t hold the cup. I am not a barista to suggest a good way of making coffee. And yet, the staff seems to be given a proper barista training.

Terrible waiting times in the morning for a coffee, Always one staff serving In the morning. Be prepared to wait around 30 minutes to be served if you want a coffee 👍🏽. Invest in some more staff for the mornings.

Nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Wonderful ied americano. Also good place to work with your laptop (limited to 1.5 hours)

I go in here quite a few times a week for a black coffee and something to eat after working and staff are always pleasant. The layout is a bit odd so sometimes you can't always get a seat - especially if a lot of students in there or if someone is entitled and has taken up residence. But I like the food and the coffee's strong/good!

I go in there from time to time with my wife. A large place inside which is nice and good ambience. The staff are usually friendly except for one guy who unnerves us (european accent?) seemed a bit rude to my wife; then unnerved us as he was running up and down. Also tried to take away my drink before it was finished. However, apart from that, the vegan sausage roll was very nice. My wife had a toastie which was also just right.

The staff are always lovely here, it's just a shame that you can rarely find a seat, because it's full of selfish and entitled students on laptops, who only drink the free tap water, or bring their own food and drinks. I understand it's a multimillion pound business, but it's hugely selfish to use the Internet and take up seats in a cafe if you're not going to buy anything. It's not affiliated with the University, or an extension of the University campus, so I don't see why paying customers have to sustain the lifestyle of these entitled students. As the prices continue rise, due to students not paying their way, paying customers will just give up on this branch, and it will end up closing down. Very disappointing.

They've got the ambiance right. Just a shame when ordering a Cortado a few weeks back, the ratio was incorrect, too much milk- it tasted like a flat white. Also, came in yesterday morning and there was a horrible customer shouting her mouth off at another customer because, they didn't want to give her their phone. Felt bad for the customers and staff who had to put up with her attention seeking behaviour.

It was nice to find a coffee shop open later. I just wanted to find a corner to decompress and treat myself to something sweet. So many solo people in there just doing their own thing, being involved with work, a book etc.

This was my first time there. It used to be a bank before. The ambience is relaxing and tasteful in keeping with Clifton. I was having a café latte with an old friend visiting from Singapore. We didn't have any food. I have been there since with my wife Clare.

Honestly, we stopped by chance and for a comforting stop over a coffee!

I had a wonderful experience at this coffee shop on Christmas Eve. Despite the busy atmosphere, the service provided by baristas Hannah and Noel was exceptional. Their warm greetings and constant smiles added a delightful touch to my visit, making it a memorable one.

Visited for the first time today for a decaf Cappucino with coconut milk. Perfectly made. Very friendly, professional staff and efficiently run. Spotlessly clean coffee shop including the toilets. Best Caffe Nero I've been to by far. Hats off to the team. 5/5.

Update Tues 21st November 9.50 a.m. Excellent!! start to the day, from 7 or 7.15 a.m. Kindly giving, patient staff and manager lady overseeing the same working good order and developments, and with some of the tastiest coffee in town. Nicely or very nicely made the same, as a general rule so: very good ! And they have begun staffing up to two now and not just one staff on duty from about 7.15 / 7.25 a.m of mornings and they will hopefully keep that up, and so avoid queues for, - & rather build up good much appreciated business- , for folk of us heading into a labouring day's work in the city centre and etc. Earlier Review week or so back made : Kevin T. Few weeks back review: Absolutely agree. Amongst the best in town. And the staff are labouring on kindly and patiently amongst the best around. One does not want to set up on a pedestal to be shot down by scrutiny, but since opening this has become my favourite spot for a tasty coffee and other good fayre. And good fayre being also chiefly the respect and kind order the company and their staff aim for here. And their niche way at all so, here I am sure is very much appreciated by many . And maybe also in key way by older and frailer and those who bit more vulnerable to being overwhelmed, types of the mix, too . Respect to all and folk not overriding others in their ways is a much appreciated aspect of here I think . Anyway 5+ stars I give ! Note : I think they need be aware a slight concern, that in early mornings folk heading to work looking for a quick coffee, -their very tasty ones!- from 7.20 a.m do not want to find just one staff battling with a queue of 6 plus, - and folk lying in bed pressing the buttons for online orders to be made up at the same time, !??-, .... And also thst the staff and manager and company are not troubled by maintenance handymen, or the company Caffe Nero is not, who will not simply come out and do simple fixes promptly and well, once and done well ... and not that they simply are getting away with it (how about a 1 star to anonymous them ??) as contractor business, ongoing not good enough level of work !??? ...whoever they are ??? Coffee #1 seems to suffer the same!?? "Come on ye Contractor Maintenance Upkeep firm, do your good part to good rewards the same whoever you are ??.... and your staff get support too, do the simple fixes in-house most of us enjoy doing in our weekends off, as DIY !" What's the trouble !? " A perplexing matter I and friends are rather bemused by ?? We see going on at this time. If your staff are fed up & don't do as asked, then maybe they need a bit more true ways & maybe a bit more this or that, to help them do so. ??? Anyway .... But a very very good Caffe I think, (- a free coffee, or food to the equivalent cost for maintenance staff on jobs?) ... and more as this one, be very good to know I think, and in our community Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol to have one would be great !!! If in this way set up and run .!!!!??? ..?? Hoping ! To lift up our local quality of kind giving work such . And one hopes to good financial reward & in the longer term for your great staff, yes !! Thank you to the team here, and each staff who all seem to play a very good keen part to date , to manager lady and the former one who set it off, in beginnings so well, and to the company. Thank! you.

Good atmosphere but coffee is quite pricey

A very welcome addition to the Caffè Nero family. Friendly staff, great atmosphere in a brand new shop and the coffee is excellent too. Well done!

Nero - tastic. Nor much in the way of setting area however great location.

Nice sitting area, clean store and good service from the staff. One of my favourite spot for a chill study/reading session.

Wonderful baristas - both Hannahs and Freya in particular! My 98 year old grandfather is a regular and they treat him with such kindness. It's a big part of his week getting to go out for a snack and lemonade, and he's always raving about the kind staff. The food and drinks are also excellent (great vegan sausage rolls!) and it's a really nice atmosphere with comfy armchairs and sofas and bookshelves all around. Thank you all for your kindness!

Like this recently opened shop but why do they allow customers to set up office on their laptops denying others of opportunity to sit down: it's a shop not a library right!?

Frankie the trainee barista gave me fantastic service, was polite and professional. What really got me though was how she dealt with a severely disabled elderly gentleman. He could barely stand. She asked he sit down and she bought everything to him. She's asked if needed anything else due to his needs and then went to locate whatever he needed. A win for humanity. Amazing work frankie your patience and empathy didnt go unoticed. Karma will get back at you with a 10x multiplier

Nice, but just a bit small, but we might have only seen one side of it. Coffee and crosisants were nice. The almond crosisant did have a fake taste to it so wouldn't get one of those again. But the normal one was nice and so were the coffees.

I visited this branch of Cafe Nero on Saturday Morning and was greeted immediately with a warm welcome. Our drinks were made to perfection swiftly and brought to our table. All around us there was a really happy atmosphere and so we ordered more drinks, different ones this time, which again were made to a high standard of quality, with a cheerfulness and swiftly. I shall certainly return and my friend remarked what a pleasant place it was and will return and bring his wife. Top marks for everything!

The new store is nice, clean and well lit. However, a couple of the staff were rude and standoffish. I would recommend they acquire some better customer service skills, rather than staring over glaring at our table and repeatedly asking if we would buy another drink- when we had only been there an hour. There is no need to be so pushy or passive aggressive, please improve your manners or we will take our business else where. Thank you.

Great new Nero. Perfect service, toilets immaculate. Nice food selection and excellent coffee. Makes Costa look very dated.
