Caffè Nero in Cardiff

The bald sluggish barista can't distinguish cow milk and coconut milk. Make sure if you're dopey like that at least be accurate.

Almost all of the staff there is AMAZING! Efficient, nice and just lovely! I always buy very particular coffee, and on few occasions I noticed that the staff already has my coffee half or even fully ready before I even reach the till 😯🥰... i really feel looked after! 💜. Thank you, guys!

Unfortunately I can’t leave a good review on this Occasion . Staff let me struggle with food and coffee when I was with my toddler. Not ideal at all - staff could simply have offered to carry it over for me , as I had spent over £15 also - not cheap ! Coffee didn’t taste very nice either - think the milk was burnt which was extremely disappointing as I was looking forward to a coffee , being a busy parent. There are high chairs available but space for a pushchair extremely limited, just to bear in mind if you have a baby / toddler with you.

My hot chocolate and caramel cake were lush. However service was very slow, there was only 1 person in front of me and I waited almost 10 minutes to get served. And then my drink was made very slowly and I'm guessing was made wrong as they poured it out and re-made it. The people in the queue behind me left due to the long wait times. A similar thing has happened to me once before

The coffee was, as always fantastic and the bacon roll was delicious too

**Edit**Tried for a 3rd time. Mistakes made again & 2 items not in stock so they sent replacements whichout my knowledge which I couldn't eat. Yet another battle between them and UberEats to try and get the items refunded but each kept blaming the other. I called the store and spoke to the store manager who was THE RUDEST 'boy' (he sounded about 15 with his sarcasm) and having got nowhere I complained to their Head Office. I wasn't expecting a reply as I didn't last time, however this time they sent me a cheque for a refund. NEVER will I use them again. Second time ordering and YET AGAIN the order was incorrect! The first time they'd given me a vegetarian sausage bap instead of a meat one which was inedible, and this time they sent me some kind of tasteless weird tomato toasted sandwich which looked like sick instead of a mushroom and mascarpone toasted sandwich. Uber Eats is refusing to refund me! The first order that was messed up Cafe Nero sent me a £3 voucher and told me that Uber Eats would refund the whole order as as well as the incorrect item, the rest of the order was melted, but Uber Eats wouldn't refund. This time with the incorrect toasted sandwich, Uber Eats app won't refund the item yet again!! This branch of Caffe Nero really needs new staff. I mean how hard can it possibly be to get orders correct?!?! AWFUL - AVOID!

Mocha and hot chocolate, very nice, very bizzy mind.

They make lovely lattes and a good choice of syrups if you want them. Friendly staff too I gave 5 stars for food. Although I didn't have food this time I have in the past and it's always been tasty

A little pricey but the food is amazing. I had a strawberry milkshake which was just about average as any milkshake. My parents had a latte and a cappuccino that they both said were nice. The cafe is a little noisy (I visited at 1pm though so fair enough), and the view of the car park is a little chaotic.

Great coffees. Nice food. Atmosphere isn't great as you're looking over a car park but nice and peaceful watching the world go by🌍

Small, little on sale for lunch when I visited and a bit soulless. Baristas were good, so OK for coffee, but in that precinct I'd eat elsewhere

No sandwiches no paninis fridge empty , not good for business

Ordered two iced lattes one caramel/coconut one pistachio. My god they are the worst coffees I have ever tasted, mine was bad and my partners was worse. Tasted like old coffee water. I won't ever be visiting cafe nero again 1st and last time.

Ideally located inside of Next, can sit with view over shopping park and Cardiff City Stadium, do some people watching. Nice selection of drinks and snack, toilets located in Next a few feet away

Sandwich counter empty, 3 members of staff behind counter chatting and seemed to want to continue chatting instead of serving us. Considering as I said there was 3 members of staff there were quite a few tables with used cups and plates left around. The whole place felt dirty and grimey. The glass panels looking down on to the shop below were dirty. Just everything looked like it needed a good scrub down and full clean. Won't be back.

Literally I can't understand why this place is always dirty. The staff never clean down the tables and the overhead pipe next to the window has a thick cake of dust. I honestly can't wrap my head why the people employed here can't be bothered to clean the tables. Is there something I'm missing here?

Had to wait about 15 mins to be served with only two people in the queue in front of me. Was then over charged as the light roast is apparently more expensive although this was not explained.

Every Friday my sister and I enjoy our Cappuccino at Leckwith, the best we,ve had anywhere😀😀. Well done Caterina (Kate) also for keeping the shop so CLEAN and SAFE!!!!!!!

Lovely place to pop in for a coffee, clean and well staffed. Queues can sometimes be a bit long when busy, but not too bad, and window seats are great. Very convenient as a break from shopping

Had a soya milk cappuccino and toasted teacake. Staff were friendly and it was busy for a Tuesday morning. There were a few uncleared tables and staff were discussing rotas quite loudly ... Time that could've been spent clearing tables. Covid precautions in place tho and pleasant view...Great for people watching

Earlier experiences were a little stressful due to covid measures. However this time I cannot fault the attentiveness shown. It was pleasing to taste the quality of the apricot danish. I also noticed for nxt time that they offer 'cortado' a smll cup of strong coffee.

The location is great, first floor level with a good view of the retail park with ample window side seating. Service was great too. But was not happy that the Barista had her long hair open...no head cap:-(

Service was terrible, we waited at the counter for ages to be served and there were no other customers in front of us, there were two baristas behind the counter and neither acknowledged us.

This is Caffe Nero inside Next at Leckwith. Very pleasant experience with good social distancing. Slightly confusing one way system. Enjoyed coffee and scones. Would go again.

I have to pay £230 fine because I came to cafe Nero after my gym session for a coffee and I went over 3 hours carpark limit . this is ridiculous and you are going to lose so many customers because of that greedy carpark owner

Lots of different coffee's on offer which are quite strong. Ask for 1 shot if you prefer it weaker. Nero has the best egg sandwiches I have ever tasted. Staff friendly and keep the queues down .

Only one customer toilet that's shared with the next store simply not enough and shows you have no regard for your customers

A fairly small branch inside Next but usually quite busy. Very efficient and friendly staff. I like the way staff take your order whilst working on previous order. Limited food choice but OK. Excellent coffee.

Always nice to stop in for a cuppa and snack, and the staff are always really nice. Only minimal let-down being that table clearance is sometimes a bit slow, so being a small place (inside a Next store) it can be a bit of an issue on occasion. Usually only a couple of baristas on at a time though and with the footfall they get it can't be easy to stay on top of it all day. If there was room for a tray rack, I (would like to) think most customers might clear after themselves in consideration of other customers. #thinkpositive
