A nice location and interior. I like their coffee here but their hot chocolate is simply awful.

Staff at Market Harborugh Caffè Nero can be very cold some time, and place needs really good cleaning everywhere you touch their is dust also re-usable cups for sale are in really bad condition on display, near the toilets ceiling got big water leak marks and damp spots. we as a family go there every Sunday only because we love caffe Nero coffee .

This beats StarBucks in every department from a food and drink perspective. For this particular branch, great location but no parking available. Easy accessibility.

As always the only thing better than the coffee and pastries was the friendly and efficient service! We always come here to sit and read the newspapers nearly every morning. Excellent coffee shop with consistent quality taste you can rely on.

Located in nice building like a house. Clean and tiny place. Wasn’t happy with service but didn’t complain. I enjoyed my lunch. Cakes on counter were so much attempted. Plenty of seating inside.

Lovely building and great drinks. It is a shame that the service by certain members of staff are so shocking. One member of staff took our order, started making our drinks and then left to clean tables. Another girl came over to take over and had no clue what drinks we were having due to lack of communication. Then this staff member started discussing how awful the shift is that she has been put on in front of the queue of people and moaning about the job. On separate occasions the same staff member has been miserable and clearly does not want to be here. If you don’t like the job that much then leave! A good place to visit if you don’t want service with a smile

Not impressed at all. The service was lacking interest, the pain au chocolate was tasteless and stale and the hot chocolate tasted like something from a vending machine at a swimming pool. Not good value, or even any sort of value at all - considering it cost over £6. Shame I had a takeaway otherwise i would have returned both items. I shan’t be going to Cafe Nero again. 😞

The Cafe Nero in Market Harborough is a cozy little cafe situated in the town centre. The service and service is very good. The only issue is that there is NO disabled access.

Went for a coffee after work and although I was second in a queue of 5 I was kept waiting a ridiculous amount of time. There were two girls behind the counter but only one serving until they overheard me saying I would leave soon.

Always busy, great coffee and teacakes. Cafe could do with abit of updating and comfortable chairs.

Can't beat a good Nero, nice coffee at nice prices. Good value for money, very friendly and pleasant staff. Drink inside with plenty of tables or there's a couple of tables outside to watch the world go by. Personally, I don't think you can beat it.

Really nice environment. The coffee is nice (I find Caffe Nero to be the best of all the big coffee chains, though it doesn't come close to a good independent place), as is the food. However, the waiting times are inefficient. The staff vary from efficient and friendly, to disaffected and more interested in having a natter with their colleagues than serving a crowing queue of customers. Update: I'm very annoyed with this outlet. They are meant to close at 6pm, but I tried to visit at around 5.15pm last week, and they were closed without any sign in the window, etc. Unacceptable.

I went there at a quiet time . Staff were a bit slow but the were polite and cheerful.

I don't know what's happened in the month since I was last here, but the staff seem to have lost any customer service skills. Gone are the polite smiles, the care and attention to making the coffee and the basic manners. Hands down the most watery coffee I've ever had at a Café Nero. Super disappointed.

Nice enough place but the staff and service were shocking. 3 staff on today, but only one serving while chatting, and as a result it took so long to get coffee that 2 customers in the short queue left before ordering. Save your time and walk across the street to Stray's. Much faster. Good enough coffee, but I shan't waste my time here again waiting.

We have been visiting Cafe Nero in Market Harborough for many years and the staff, food and coffee are great. However for the past 3 or 4 months the gents toilets have been out of action. This means all the men have to use the disability toilet. This needs to be resolved quickly (and as I understand the problem relates to a light fitting) shouldn't be that difficult. Come on Cafe Nero get it sorted and move up a star or two!

This is place is not accessible for those with disability issues, in a wheelchair or with a buggy/pram. Not great the the company should do more to make it accessible for EVERYONE.

Clearly the member of staff serving us yesterday at 5.30 pm didn’t want to be there, didn’t like dogs and couldn’t be any less interested in our order of two lattes and a cake. Could definitely benefit from some customer service training. Had to repeat our order twice. Sternly told me off for having my dog sitting on my knee. If he was on the furniture (which he wasn’t) I could appreciate her concern. Drank up and went as the atmosphere chilled our coffees.

Not sure how much Caffè Nero varies from branch to branch in terms of food and drink but the service here js SO good that it deserves a review! The young guy who served me (who I guess is Alex based on other reviews!) was so friendly and helpful and polite that i knew immediately I had to write something. It was a busy sunny day when I visited, and everyone (including me) was ordering complicated iced drinks. This inevitably meant service took a while, but he was so efficient and friendly that it didn’t matter at all. Give the guy a bonus!

Poor service received again. It seems that regardless of which member of the team is serving, the same approach is taken by all; stand off-ish and rude. It felt as if we were an inconvenience, like they were doing us a favour by serving us. I have tried to give this establishment a fair chance over the past month; the coffee and pastries are delicious and the cosy atmosphere is lovely. However, the abruptness with which the staff speak to their customers is really off putting. This morning one member of staff was impatient with an elderly man as he didn't have the track and trace app. Having worked in the hospitality industry previously for many years, this just isn't appropriate customer service. I do wonder how much emphasis the company themselves puts on training their staff, as this seems to be the approach of several staff members at this store. Disappointing.

With a prime central location, plenty of seating, and lots of tasty food and drink available, it's a real shame that my last three visits here have been tarnished by staff who are impatient, rude, and incapable of making their customers feel welcome. It's perhaps worth mentioning that each visit has exhibited the lack of customer service skills of three separate members of staff. I've witnessed their grunting and huffing impatience spoil the days of several customers, some of whom have been abruptly told at the till that it's card-only and subsequently shown the exit. Just because you're having a bad day it doesn't mean you can't engage customers with patience, and just because you're wearing a mask it doesn't mean you're incapable of smiling.

The tall girl that served us on 8/6 late morning needs some service skills on how to speak to customers, not friendly when asking for our parties details which are just written on scraps of paper and told they don't accept cash. Like she was really put out, don't pass your bad day on to your customers. Upset my friends not me. I know its difficult wearing a mask but that just means unfortunately you have to try harder, I work in customer facing retail all day so understand this fully that you need to up your people skills, unfortunate. Went to Starbucks for our afternoon break.

Disappointing.. I think your orders should be served to the tables would save lengthy queues. What's the difference between café and pubs I would say bars have it right and their staff more friendly.

One off the few that had a vegan cake option during this lockdown. Cake and coffee was very good.

This is the best coffee shop in Market Harborough. Allowing well behaved dogs in. Staff are always friendly and have a smile for you. Not rushing you if undecided on what you fancy to drink. Looking forward to when we can sit in and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Well done ladies.

Staff made an effort to talk to everyone but me and my partner. Spoke to us rudely when coming to pay. Didn't feel welcome at all. Food and hot drink however were good.

Good quality coffee & had an almond croissant for a treat. Very comfy & roomy Café.

Staff are very noisy, clattering cups and plates and slamming plates on tables, not at all relaxing environment to be in. Can't have a chat in the noise level and certainly not suitable if you have a baby - mine was trying to nap, my nephew with a bottle, both of us struggled to get in and out with prams, staff pushing past with no regard for the baby's at all.
