Caffè Nero in Bristol, City of

I came in place looks lovely as always and i do really like their drinks but the service is not nice at all. I ordered my drink but because the server was turned round i had to ask for oat milk as she was making it, she said ‘should’ve told me sooner’ and pretended to laugh it off. As a barista myself, i find it annoying as well when a customer says something when you’re doing it but 1. she didn’t give me time to even say my order and 2. be nice about it? Really put me off coming here again.

Superb coffee shop! The atmosphere is amazing, and the place is super cosy. I always enjoy relaxing on their terrace. The service is very good send the staff are so friendly and polite. Their iced caramel cappuccino is a must try. Thank you 😊

Not bad but same as all Caffe Nero outlets. In my opinion, the food is far too expensive. Maybe I'm just tight as I pay £1 for any drink and only eat here on my birthday (free cake) ☕🍰.

Think for the same price you can get better coffee at a local cafe sorry. Carrot cake was nice though. And that being said, the staff here are the sweetest.

Sometimes stop here on my way to work. The lady serving with the glasses is always friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

A remarkably delicious oat milk latte, warm and comforting on a dreary day. Served with a radiant smile by a lovely barista who wished me a wonderful day—just the spark needed to set the day in motion, even when the skies remain gray :)

I love the cozy & warm atmosphere of Nero Cafe & also big fan of their coffee. That is why I choose this place every time. Recently I moved from London to Bristol & I found the service is quite horrible compare to other stores in the uk. I always go to the galleries one & the staffs are not nice. I ignored it for several times because I just cant rate the service experience it for few times. Does not matter its morning or evening they never greet you. Even if you greet them, they will not response. They are not motivated & have no welcoming gestures at all. Seems like I am having coffe free. I am a caramel latte girl & every time it served differently, I would say depends on their mood. If its in the morning I will have caramel drizzle on top of my cream, if it’s in the evening the cream will be overloaded & I have to rinse the cup by myself. They will never ask you for any spoon, napkins or tray. I think Cafe Nero (the galleries) should focus on their service.

The great staff are the big attraction here as well as fine coffee and perfect location, nestled between The Galleries and Cabot Circus. A continuous stream of banter from the baristas - worth a visit for just that!

Man in bun who served me had terrible customer service. Made me feel like I had inconvenienced him for ordering a cake and coffee.

Friendly staff but service a bit on the slow side, waited a while as sever put the wrong syrup in drink but was happy to remake, ordered chocolate and hazelnut frappe very fake flavour only had a couple of sips, when server collected drinks mentioned that I just didn't like the flavour but nothing was done to remedy this.

The gothic girl was closing down an hour early yesterday and refused to serve us even though she kept directly looking at us and looking away. felt extremely homophobic

We stopped by in between shopping. Our Chai lattes were luke warm and blend. We asked for cakes and the same barista gave the cutlery holding from the top of it with his bare hands! What happened to the service industry in UK? The only good thing was tiramisu.

Staff trainee was friendly, coffee was average but 45p extra for oatmilk!?! Its not 2010 caffe Nero, get with the times before I break out the superglue...

Mostly petty wingers and whiners from reviews I've seen so far. Well, I'm going to buck that trend from a regular customer perspective. This is the best Nero in Bristol as far as I'm concerned. No business is going to be 100% perfect all of the time, and it's a pity people don't account for that instead of picking holes. This is a well managed store with good service. Yes, occasionally things may go awry, but this should never detract from the bigger picture of great food, beverages, and overall service for which the whole team should be complimented. Keep up the good work all.

I've been there twice, and the male staff is very rude. They seemed racist never going back they act like we are getting stuff for free! Mrs kaur

Decent Nero, my go-to lunchtime walking destination from the office and there's rarely a long queue. A wide selection of food and drinks, fridges always stocked, not once let me down.

An oasis of calm amid the busy Christmas Market.

It was packed in there at lunchtime on a Sunday so it was a bit chaotic back there but you can complain at all about the result. Took a while in the queue but the stuff itself came quite quick. Really good cappuccino, great variety of food and drink flavours.

Lovely little Caffe Nero, wasn’t overly busy when I visited, but the seats are great and lots of space. Decor is very cosy and coffee has always been great from Nero.

Coffee Baristas Know their stuff Coffee prepped before order complete. They know their customer personally. Time well spent. 100% customer service

I had a mocha with oat milk and a cinnamon swirl. The mocha had vegan cream which wasn't great but the drink had a strong chocolate flavour so the nailed exactly what I want in a mocha.

Went into cafe Nero with my mum to order a few drinks. The staff member there, a guy, who took our order was absolutely rude and disrespectful. Got our order wrong, and got mad because of it and used some impolite speech after-wards. From the moment we walked in he was very unprofessional.

This Cafe, whilst part of a chain, has some individual features which both I and my friend Kate appreciate. There is the begging of a small library here and excellent coffee, hot chocolate, frappes and cakes are available

Great black coffee. My husband had a latte. I'd recommend the ginger biscuits. They're absolutely massive & delicious 😋 It's always a great atmosphere in a Caffè Neros. It doesn't matter which one you visit. It's far better than some other coffee shops.

I used to come here a lot and always enjoyed the service and products, but considering the cost of it all I would humbly expect at least a decent service. However, we were stood there for a good while with no one else near us, not being served, as they casually chatted. So I it was below standard. Sorry! I have to add; the products were splendid though.

Good location to stop for a coffee. I asked for a tiny bit of vanilla syrup in the coffee this morning Wednesday but the lady wasn't really listening instead she started quickly making the coffee so got a full 2 pumps of vanilla syrup, way too sweet. It felt very rushed and there wasn't even a queue. She was very friendly but if it's not busy it's nice to take some time and listen to what customers would like. She did offer to make a new coffee, but I had no time anymore. I will come back as the coffee is tasty, thank you.

Quick service, but drink wasn’t hugely amazing. I ordered the pistachio latte, however it only carried a mild flavour. Staff not particularly helpful as they refused to accept a free drink voucher, claiming it wasn’t accepted on ‘special’ drinks. After contacting customer services, this was not the case and the voucher should’ve been accepted. Overall a disappointing experience.

One of our favourite cafes in Bristol, Caffe Nero has a cozy and warm atmosphere that we always like. Good selection of coffee and food. One branch also closes much later than other cafes so that's a plus. Great place to unwind, read, have a good conversation, or just let the world pass you by.

On my last visit I just stopped for a coffee which was fine. There is a reasonable food selection, including sandwiches, salads, pastries and cakes. I was very disappointed in the toilet, which is only accessible with a key code that the staff will give to customers. The lack of a toilet seat surprised me. Perhaps ladies are not supposed to use the facilities! There are cleaner public lavatories in the Galleries and I shall be using them in the future.

It was pretty empty so no atmosphere, but given we went in for a coffee, not an issue.

Popped in for coffee and was seduced by the very attractive puff pastry sausage rolls on offer. I made the mistake of asking for this warm, at which point it was crushed in a pannini press and served looking like road-kill on a plate. Service was muted, perhaps to be expected a day after Xmas. Atmosphere was improved by very cute puppy which accompanied one customer. In conclusion, no reason to visit this place unless you have to.

Fairly stock coffee shop, staff were kind and patient but there were a number of places that were taken by non paying customers that were really quite obnoxious and were just allowed to ruin the environment without staff intervening. Staff were excellent but management needs to increase the amount of staff on the floor.

Amazing coffee in the centre of Bristol. Very nice terrace and views. The chocolate is outstanding, also provided with ice which is perfect for those summer days. Inside place has a lot of sofas with books to read and personal is efficient.

The coffee was nice however, the oatmeal raisin cookies are awful! The bits without raisins are bitter & the raisin quota is stingy; I expect much better quality for £2.

Great coffee and service, situated away from the hustle and bustle

Every single free table full of used cups plates and cutlery at 5pm ish last week. I don't expect perfection but for £3.50 a drink at least it is very disrespectful to serve customers take their money and not clear the tables for what looked like hours. Not busy when I went in but I had to walk around for ages and clear a table myself. I was tired or I would have left. I needed to sit down somewhere but wish another coffee shop had been nearby do I could avoid this one. Watery hot chocolate for the price...

Just out the back door of the galleries, Bristol, and a welcome coffee break. A fairly friendly place, can get quite busy at any time of the day, so expect a little wait, and you won't be disappointed. I like this place so much I have accrued 14 vouchers! Drink in or takeaway, or even order ahead. If you like something different they may be doing a single origin roast (May 2022 it's Peru, before that was Guatamala).

They are displaying a large photo of the rear view of a man holding a woman by the back of the neck. It looks possessive and controlling. Not a good look in 2022

Probably the best of the national chains, in my opinion. If you find Costa tastes burnt and Pret is no better than used dish water, go here instead.

I go in there regularly and the staff are always friendly and cheerful. Today the young chap serving carried my tray for me. I particularly like the two tables by the counter, which remind me of railway carriages. Good atmosphere. Can get very busy. It's nice to sit on the outside seating on a sunny day.

The staff are friendly and the coffee. It's located on the outer part of the galleries shopping mall so it's very close to the multi storey car park-which charges. It's also very close to the main bus stops accessing all o the city, as well as the Cabot Circus shopping centre. Wheelchair accessible too.

I found this coffee shop after missing my bus connection. The Staff seemed so happy in their work. I saw one of them helping a lady open a packet she was struggling with before I had a really helpful experience at the counter. Staff were obviously a team, knew their stuff. Coffee was lovely, so much so I broke my journey on the way back and got an equally good experience and cake . Lady training a new employee was very good at it. Cheered me up and made my day

Consistently ok. Each time I've been in here it's just about ok. Long queues, slow service, 2 people serving on busy Sat afternoon. Expensive. I asked for white chocolate mocha extra hot and it was just warm. Couldn't be bothered to take it back as I'd found one of the last tables. It was very tasty though and the staff are friendly

Had an iced latte which was nothing like how Caffè Nero used to make them very disappointed and for how much l paid will not bother again.
