Location is great for shops and a 10-minute walk to town. Unfortunately, the hotel and a member of reception spoiled it. The room was cold and then found out that the heating was controlled from reception. Too much wrong with this hotel to list.

Brilliant for access to the city centre. Great parking with good signage to the hotel. Everything you'd expect of a good hotel.

The hotel is ok, it really depends on what room you get. I wasn’t impressed with mine. The restaurant, however, has great food and service. I would recommend the sea bass and the bruschetta.

I have stayed in this hotel in the past, and to be honest, the experience wasn't great, but that was a few years ago. Unfortunately, the standards are still low. To start with, the service at reception was poor. The room was covered by a company credit card, but the receptionist (with no name badge) still insisted that i provide a personal card in case I damage the room. Ironically, what is ruined is my jeans. The housekeeping clearly hadn't done their job properly. I sat down on the chair in front of the desk to take a call, not realising that someone had left fresh gum on the seat that ended up on the rear of my jeans. After trying to remove it (impossible), I go down to reception and speak to the duty manager. His response is for copies of the images along with replace the chair. The only ones who could make a decision are housekeeping. On my second day of staying, the receptionist, after reactiving my room card, tells me that i can either give them the jeans to arrange dry cleaning or do it myself and submit a receipt. This is not acceptable, why should I have to go to the trouble. I had to provide my card details when starting my stay in case I damaged anything, but the hotel damaged my property due to negligence, and they are not prepared to offer an adequate resolve. In addition, when I arrived, the one lift was out of service, and the main stairwell was closed to everyone, but the signage is poor, and no one offered any explanation. Demonstrate some customer service. Offer a responsible resolve. Demonstrate that you as a company are apologetic, not apathetic.

This place is fine, if you just need a place to sleep. It has no character. It has the vibe of 1990s Travelodge when they were newly opened, but in a more central, tower based format. The decor is still in good condition but looks like 10-20 years out of date. The food at the restaurant was on the pricey side, but it was well made. That goes for dinner and breakfast (which I had not pre-booked so probably paid more for). Two nice pubs nearby, but both were not doing food on the Tuesday night I stayed. Opposite the hotel is a shopping centre with all the usual UK-wide chains of commercial restaurants (Frankie & Bennie's, Wagamama, etc). Town centre is a bit further away and I just did not have time to venture there during my one night stay.

You can only have all the lights on, or none of them. That's really irritating when your partner wants to sleep but you usually stay up and read a bit. The bathroom lock was broken on the inside, but worked on the outside, meaning someone can lock you in and you can't get out. The shower head angle can't be changed, so it shoots out almost horizontal. The bathroom door swings open and if you're not careful it batters into the wooden unit by the side of it. Just put a door stop in dammit. The shower gel etc is provided in thin squeezy packs, which is cool, but the tray in the shower is a wire basket that they just fall trough. It's all fairly small things that add up to being very frustrating. On the plus side the beds are very springy and quite comfy.

Well, it was our second time at the hotel, the first one a year ago everything was wonderful, however this time we had a problem and no one gave us a solution. They gave us the room on the 5th floor and just two of the three nights we stayed, on the 6th we had a Christmas party that it seemed like we had it inside the room, we went to reception and no matter what, it was a party they told us , but knowing that we had another night, we also swallowed the second night of partying having to get up at six for the flight, we understand about the Christmas party, but don't give me the room below the DJ table, nonsense.

Stayed here half a dozen times now and it's always fabulous. Convenient location (very handy for popping back and dumping shopping bags), an easy walk to the Hippodrome and free car parking at the Cabot Circus car park, which is right next door. Breakfast is excellent and good value for money. The Chophouse is excellent too and their bar staff make fabulous Cocktails. All the staff and friendly and efficient, but an extra shout out to Daniel (who always seemed to be there no matter what time it was) for being extra lovely.

This is a fairly good hotel, in a great location next to Cabot Circus in Bristol. The free parking as part of the room was a bonus. The rooms are of a modern standard, although have a few issues. The mattresses are a bit lumpy and generally well used. There are no lamps in the room, so you either can have all the lights on at once or no lights whatsoever. There's no in-between. We happened to be in a room backing on to the lifts and the desk and everything on it shook intermittently throughout the night. The breakfast choice was good, although we found that the cooked breakfast (served as a buffet) was lukewarm at best. I would put it on a par quality-wise with a Premier Inn, so I would opt for the Premier Inn if you can get it for a better price.

Excellent hotel. Amazing service and staff, family room for 3 adults booked, room was massive and exceptionally clean, priced surprisingly good would have paid more for what we got. Location superb for our needs ( a show at Bristol Beacon and shopping) Parking not a problem for us as space for 1 car at multi storey close by paid for by hotel. Staff were always happy and smiling really couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent. Would definately stay again.

Rooms and service worse than ever before. The hotel is very dirty and worn out. The staff reacted in a friendly but unhelpful manner. Lots of German guests who are willing to be seated in groups of three at tables for two. We preferred to leave early.

The hotel is very bare-bones. Suitable for a business traveller but I wouldn't recommend for tourists coming to see Bristol. We paid £230 for two nights and breakfast and I don't think it was good value for money. Good points: - Clean - Central for shopping (but seemed quite a rough bit of town) - Quiet - Great that it comes with free parking -Spacious room with lots of storage Negative points: - Plugs only on one side of bed - Light switch only on one side of bed - no bedside lamps as one switch turned on/off every light in the room - Broken shower shelf - Torn bedding - Towels frayed on all edges - Run down, tired and dated decor

Nice clean hotel, friendly people in a great location, you are immediately in the shopping center. The only thing that is absolutely not worth the money is the breakfast. 18 pounds per person, you expect more for that.

Great hotel location for a shopping trip. Rooms were clean tidy and respectable. Buffet breakfast was a little low quality for £15 (booked in advance). Bacon and sausages tasted as if they were cheap quality, scrambled egg was just like omelette chopped up. Coffee tasted really poor, it would be much better to serve caffettier s.

It's right next to Cabot Circus car park and plenty of signage in there to point you in the right direction. Great that the price included the parking. Room was nice, decent size and had air con. The lighting controls seemed limited though it seemed to be all or nothing (I couldn't work out how to just get the bed lamps on without the other lights). Service was great, Zoltan was very professional and helpful in the exchanges we had with him. Breakfast was a buffet and no complaints from me. It won't blow you away but was better than most hotels chains offer.

Welcomed nicely by reception Room was nice but right opposite lifts, so lots of noise from guests coming and going. Could hear the housekeepers talking and complaining about the room when cleaning. Shower head was filthy and didn’t work properly. So had to clean it myself to get it spray correctly. Looked like a build up of limescale. Was nice to have free parking in the multi store next door which was big benefit. Overall good but could have been better.

The Lanes in Bristol is a fantastic venue that offers a unique mix of bowling, live music, karaoke, and great food—all under one roof. It’s a go-to spot for a fun night out, whether you’re with friends, family, or celebrating a special occasion. The vintage-style bowling lanes add a cool retro vibe, making it a refreshing change from standard bowling alleys. The atmosphere is lively, with a mix of indie, rock, and alternative music playing in the background. Beyond bowling, there’s also a great selection of arcade games, pool tables, and even karaoke rooms for those who love to sing their hearts out. The bar serves up a solid selection of craft beers, cocktails, and pizzas that are surprisingly good for a bowling venue. The staff are friendly and keep things running smoothly even when it’s busy. The Lanes also hosts live music and themed nights, adding to its charm as a great social hub in Bristol. Whether you’re here for a casual game of bowling or a full night of entertainment, it’s an awesome place to have fun. Highly recommended!

Staff were friendly. The caramel latte was delicious! Prices were average for takeaway prices. There is a small seating area outside of the cafe to sit and enjoy your drinks, or it lovely to have a walk in the estate with a hot drink. It can be very busybat peak times, so expect a queue.
