Caffè Nero in Southwark

Normally rate Nero over the other chains. But the combination of no toilet in this branch and also no cups that aren’t takeaway cups. The latter I really hate as never sure if they’re actually recyclable or not and never tastes quite the same

Nice coffee fast service. I had to take out 1* because no toilet is available, which may be inconvenient if you want to enjoy sitting with your coffee for a bit longer.

The blond Eastern European lady working there today was very rude and unhelpful with a bad attitude. I visit frequently and the staff has always been friendly. She seems new, therefore i will not be returning and will start visiting pret next door.

No customer toilet despite selling food & drinks. Absolutely shocking

If only they paid more attention to the drinks they make , i would have got what i asked for rather than getting a mystery surprise drink. Nero is just disappointing these days

No whole beans on display for sale, I had to ask the server for some and he went into the back to get some. I asked for Winter blend and he didn't really want to sell them to me in case they needed them for the store. He tried to get me to opt for other beans from the back. He was helpful in the end but not having any pacos of coffee beans on display is bizarre.

I would like to say thank you to the barista who served our drink today at 15:16 for iced latte. We had an issue with the app and he was the friendliest barrista we have had at Nero, given a quite bad experience two weeks ago (in a different branch) Hopefully they can be thanked. He was taller than other colleagues 👍

No customer toilet, how they run a coffee shop without customer toilet.

Really bad service. The staff put a sign on the toilet saying that it is for staff only, although they are required by law to have toilet facilities for eat in customers.

It’s disgusting they don’t have toilets here selling coffee (liquid). It’s a shame, don’t come here and go to a Costa instead

Staff are really friendly and efficient. It's not too busy in the mornings too so it's easy to quickly grab a coffee on the way in to the office

Good coffee at a reasonable price

I visited Caffè Nero borough high street for a consecutive days in June. I returned today (over a month later) and Oluwatobilob remembered my exact order and who I was! Thank you!

The cafe itself is OK but the entrance is always really dirty with rubbish bags left around, people coming to urinate and you can clearly see that it is never being cleaned by the staff. I simply can't understand how it can be possible to welcome customers having to go through the main door being left in such state..!!

The baristas here really make us wanna come back again and again and again. So friendly and already knows our usual orders! Best service!

Completely unexperienced manager, who has to be fired. No commentaries. The stuff is really unadequate . Period. We will short your shares so you will see the impact. Dont hire idiots.

Typical Caffè Nero, which makes it cheap for London.

The taste of the coffee is awesome. One of the best macchiato ever tried in London. However it was serve in a plastic cup, and there is no toilet.

Great coffee and one of the best flat whites you can get, I'm also a big fan of their coffee infused bacon rolls.

A small cafe with a good range of drinks/snacks (the standard Caffè Nero fare). There isn't a lot of seating, however you're still likely to get a seat at lunchtime as most people get their order to go. The staff are all really friendly, and the service is very good even when it's busy!

genuinely a really nice little place nice and cosy with lots of light high quality furniture and very relaxing music however experiences totally ruined by the lack of a customer toilet. In this day and age when customer service is vital for brand advocacy and reputation Nero are really not doing themselves any favours.

I like Nero coffee and given the choice will always choose them over other chain coffee shops. But why does this shop only have disposable cups? Surely a dishwasher could be installed.

The place is nice, small and cozy shop with nice staff but I hate the fact they don't have a cups, you must to use paper cups generating a lot of residues.

Kawa jak kawa. Po prostu Cafe Nero, czyli takie kawowe Tesco Express. Nie należy za wiele wymagać. Trochę ciasno, trochę byle jak. Jeśli potrzebujesz szybko napić się kawy, to OK. Ja wiedziałem czego się spodziewać, dlatego daję uczciwą mocną trójkę.

Standard Caffe Nero a little smaller and more relaxed than some of the others.

Their chocolate cake is good, not too sweet unlike most places in London. The coffee is better than the Costa one but Notes is still the best coffee chain in London for me.

Lovely Nero to come and have a drink. Also has plug points should u need to charge/use your devices. Also has fab and strong coffee. Offers diary alternatives (coconut and oat)

Same old reliably adequate with same old indifferent but acceptable service, but here be no crockery whatsoever; only disposable cups, heat-bands, plastic lids and paper bags. Caffe’ Zero. Everything’s here’s a throwaway including my comment.

Nice coffee shop with really good drinks and excellent salted caramel shortbread! No bathroom in the one we visited though, which was unfortunate.

For a recent opening they made some choices here that seem odd and weigh against their rating. All drinks are served in takeaway cups, not eco-friendly given the increased awareness of coffee shop plastic cup concerns, there is also no restroom here, despite both of these points they have ample space to sit down. Food & drink is consistent with other stores and it does have nice windows if you enjoy watching the world go buy with your drink.

Small but good selection of drinks and a few sandwiches. Near london bridge train station and across the road from borough market.

Tiny coffee shop. Has as good quality as all nero coffee shops. A decent amount of snack and drink choices. Had place to sit despite the size
