Caffè Nero in West Dorset

Their Caffe Nero decaffeinated is currently my favourite coffee in town. Lovely flavour, not 'too much' aftertaste.

They are all pretty much the same. If you want different go elsewhere. However the service is good and with a smile and the coffee is good too. Comfy seating areas and plenty of sweet choices to go with the drinks.

Filthy toilets clearly not cleaned for days. Coffee nowhere near hot enough. Staff rude and unhelpful.

Very pleasant staff. Specially Aj and Aron. I am a fan of Aj tbh. He treats everyone with great respect. We are kind of friends now because he always remember my usual coffee.

It's a Caffè Nero, you know what you are getting. But the staff here specifically are friendly and helpful 10/10 for their hard work!

Just had a latte 😋. Had a comfy sofa, hence the 4 stars.

Went there recently and there was a mix up with what we bought hot food wise The man serving was very rude, not good customer service, tables dirty and not cleared of dirty dishes/cups and toilet filthy Not good value for money or good customer service

I had a latte, the coffee tasted bitter and burnt and was made with whole milk which ruined the drink even further. Mum had a hot chocolate in which we could taste the powder making it almost crunchy to drink and a disgusting flavour to it. Not happy with the overall experience from this store and will definitely never be visiting a caffé Nero again. I would much prefer to go to Costa purely for the quality of drinks and service.

Fav spot in town. the food, service, ambience and people who work here are awesome. Calm and peaceful ambience. Wonderful place to spend a quality time with family and friends. Must try❤️

We've been visiting here a lot recently while we refurb our cafe and the staff are all very polite and friendly. Depending on who's working in the morning, you may even get to start your day with a motivational speech too 😆😉

The blond young lady behind the desk couldn't have been kinder to an elderly lady on a scooter. She went out of her way to get her seated comfortably and bring her drink and everything else she required. She continued to give a fab welcome to us and everyone after us. Great hospitality.

A nice large Caffe Neros in a prime location within the stunning town of Dorchester that sell a wide range of hot & cold beverages as well as sandwiches & panini's plus other hot snacks & some delicious looking cakes. I visited this Caffe Neros twice this week whilst visiting locally & on my 1st visit I got served by a nice young lady who unfortunately couldn't seem to grasp what drink I wanted, even though it was just a simple large cappuccino with an extra shot to drink in, I lost count of how many questions I was asked but then after finding a table & taking a seat my drink ended up far too weak, tepid & full of foam, but luckily on my 2nd visit I got served by a very polite older man who made my flat white to perfection, I also has a slice of the tiramisu that was absolutely delicious which is why I look forward to returning at a later date.

Visit quiet often hot chocolate never seems hot enough. The front windows need a good clean there has been same marks since week before.

Best experience ever! To the guy making drinks today thank you so much for the fun experience, you rock !!!

I left my diary in the cafe , by the time I realised where I had left it they threw it out !!! It had my name my email 2 phone numbers and the offer of a reward !!! And they still threw it away !!! I will not be drinking in any of their shops anywhere at any point ...

Good tea and coffee and lovely cakes. Better than other brands, but not better than independent places.

Went into Caffè Nero just after 1pm and there was no queue, hardly any customers, brilliant. Staff were friendly and helpful quite relaxed. Good choice of food for our lunch. Atmosphere wise had to give 3 stars due to the average age being about 65-70 of customers nursing a single drink for gawd knows how long. No background noise of chatter only the whirr from the a/c unit. Definitely recommend it.

Relatively new coffee establishment in Dorchester town centre. All clean and tidy, as you'd expect for a newly installed coffee chain. Quicker staff than the other coffee chain competitors in the same street. Lots of plug and usb sockets for those electronically working while getting rehydrated with their drinks. Looks quite good and a wide selection of food and beverages. 5 star rating would have been attained if it wasn't for the number of tables that were in need of clearing.

Comfortable seating that is well laid out pleased that we came here and the cake was enjoyable but you do have to clean bathrooms properly especially now they are uni.

Conveniently situated on high Street. Only 1 small sofa mostly tables with chairs going back into the premises. Free water, toilets and snacks with coffee

Very nicely decorated Nero with some lovely comfy seating in and near the windows at the front. A lot more seating at the back too. Staff friendly and both our coffee and hot chocolate were hot and beautifully made. Very happy with our visit.

I visited for the first time yesterday whilst shopping in Dorchester. I was met by a very cheerful server who was very knowledgeable about coffee and helped me to decide what it was that I wanted. It was so refreshing to be served by someone who clearly loves what they do, and it made for a really nice experience. I was so impressed, I asked his name (AJ) as all too often we are quick to complain and write reviews when something hasn’t been to our liking. But…outstanding Customer Service should be rewarded. Look after him Cafe Nero….he’s a real asset.

Really awful, slow service. The trainee barista (young, blonde hair, nose piercing) in particular was utterly clueless and rudely continued chatting to her colleague instead of serving customers.

I visited on Sunday 12th February. The shop is well decorated, but the staff were quite rude. 2 young girls carried on their conversations between them, not even acknowledging i was stood waiting to be served. To add insult to injury i couldn't even get what i wanted, it was out of stock!
