Sehr empfehlenswertes Cafe!

At 1000 on a quiet Sunday morning almost half of the tables in the store were covered in used dishes. Despite the fact that there were two members of staff working with a minimal number of customers in the queue,no more than three, with only one being served at a time there appeared to be no urgency in clearing or cleaning. Other than that, the staff were very pleasant as usual.

Like the atmosphere. Shame about the unclean tables. Slow service, under staffed again. Not good for their food but their coffees are good

My wife and me had always breakfast here during our stay in Glasgow. Nice people, good patisserie, not too crowded at that time. Unconventional, soft, and very pleasant background music.

My wife and myself stop here for coffee and sandwich and used toilet before leaving what a disgrace for eating establishment. We also witnessed other people informing staff about the toilet condition before leaving without making purchase.

Café Nero is a coffeehouse located next to Glasgow Central Station. The café offers coffees, chocolates, sandwiches & tea. It is popular with by-passers. Staffs are friendly and efficient. Having a rail stopover we spotted the café and were tempted for coffee. You enjoy your coffee inside. Furniture and decoration are in Starbucks style. We went for a large hot Belgian chocolate and a cappuccino. Both were good.

This centrally located café was a very welcome break in our day for a quick coffee and cake. Service was quick and the food tasted great.

Nipped in for a quick coffee while out shopping. Several tables were uncleared with cups / paper bags sitting out. Bins were open and rubbish visible. The chain is advertising additional hygiene and cleaning methods due to covid, this was not evident. Table I did sit at was sticky and there were dead flys round the window. Worst Nero I have been in.

As expected, the coffee and service were very good, which is what I expect from Cafe Nero. The thing that sets some branches apart from others are either a beautiful location or a particularly smart or interesting interior. Neither factors apply here. Unlike other coffee chains in the city at the moment however, it was nice that in Cafe Nero we could sit inside to enjoy our coffee, and we had a pleasant and relaxing visit.

Nice place to have a coffee before work, relaxing atmosphere, but the toilets need a good clean, bathroom floor was flithy. It was as dirty as the street outside. Toilet and wash hand basin clean, but the floor was really dirty.

We were desperate for coffee and chai so called into Caffe Nero, Queen Street. Plenty of good seating, even though the place was busy. Drinks were good but coffee needed a bit more kick perhaps, but was still ok. Food (Danishes) was really really tasty, but the only letdown, if you could call it that, was the lack of interaction from those serving. I would love to see them smile and make their customers feel more wanted, but other than that, it's a good cafe in a handy location.

Popped in this morning for a takeaway coffee on my way for a train. There was someone already being served and only one girl working that I saw. Despite this, I was able to ask a couple of questions, place my order, pay, and receive a perfect standard coffee in two minutes flat, while still getting a smile and a friendly welcome. Wish I'd got the staff member's name to acknowledge her excellent service.

We had a pleasant visit to Caffe Nero which is a chain we know well. Service here in this branch was friendly and fast and the coffee (decaff) good. Muffins were fresh and the porridge good too. we would return here.

He estado aquí varias veces.

Delicious freshly made scone with Butter and Jam and superb Vanilla Latte (Mum had an amazing Mueille Feuille) cake. Lovely friendly, helpful staff who were engaging and couldn't do enough to help us. It's also great for people like one of our family members who use a wheelchair. We had never been before and had a great experience.

If you want a nice hot, tasty, home cooked, good value breakfast, GO ELSEWHERE! Where do I start? I ordered the full all day breakfast, at £9.50, it was not cheap and when it arrived , not looking very good value. The positives. The rosti, beans and toast were nice and hot. The negatives. 2 sausages the size of chipolatas lukewarm. Mushroom stone cold. Streaky bacon, well undercooked, greasy and stone cold. The poached eggs were meant to be soft. They weren't and again barely lukewarm. I complained about the bacon and was brought another plate of cold, greasy undercooked bacon. I again complained and the waitress said she would get me a refund. I said I wasn't wanting one. However, a few minutes later, Jocelyn the restaurant manager appeared to let me know we could have a free hot drink but no way was I getting the refund which I hadn't asked for! Apparently it was no ones fault. I learned that everything is cooked, sorry heated to pre programmed times and temperatures. Also, and perhaps the worst. The poached eggs are deliverd in a little plastic pod with water, I assume partially cooked , and put into hot water to set. YEUGH! Pity they weren't in a shell like other eggs. My wife had the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. Obviously not fresh made, just heated. Her bacon was the same as mine. At £8.50 it was a disgrace. We won't be back. M&S was always known for quality. What has happened?
