Caffe Nero in Belfast

I had a flat white coffee in Belfast City Airport. Firstly it wasn’t flat , so much foamy milk which is actually a cappuccino, however it was the taste which was appalling that bothered me. Bitter, over roasted, stale, undrinkable. I left it. I have had cafe Nero coffee in many countries and have never tasted such absolutely foul coffee. So bad .

Just popped in here with some friends for a coffee whilst we kill some time waiting for a train. Met Gareth and his team and hands down they are the best team I have ever come across in any coffee shop! Absolutely lovely experience even though it was only for a coffee, wish I lived in Belfast so I could go to this branch every day, but I live in Bangor so it’s a bit of a trip lol

I came in wearing a cream coat today (friday 31 may), feeling pretty tired from the day just buying sandwiches and tea…The manager Gareth complimented me and my family, told me my makeup was stunning and that we were lovely people. Asked if we needed a seat, if it was comfy, double checked if we were ok and told us if he could just make people smile with his energy and feel gd about themselves as they come in, it would be so much more than selling coffees and food. Sounds ridiculous but it wasn’t the words he said it was the intention…the whole vibe, and it really did make me smile. So attentive, so extra mile. The staff were all so chill, and friendly, never had an experience like it…give these people a raise!!!! They’re changing emotional states a person at a time! So I went online and gave a review which I never do.

The usual Nero fare - generally clean and coffee good with friendly service A few tables outside which is nice for the summer months. One thing - I can’t tell if this chair next to mine is a joke, a genuine antique or just tired.

Staff more interested in discussing their social life than serving customers. Shop poorly stocked and a bit grubby. Won't be back which is a shame as the nearby Victoria Square store is fabulous.

On my way into the office i stop here to get a coffee and yet again the barista doesn't listen to my order!!! I ask for a regular americano no milk and AGAIN i get milk. More frustrating this visit was 7.10am on a Monday morning when you just need your coffee to hit that bit differently. From now on will be checking my order before i leave

I do like Cafe Nero and this one is decent. Staff where helpful and friendly and the range of coffee and food on offer was usual nero stuff. Handy to pay using the Nero app and you can collect stamps to get a free coffee.

I visited this location a few times during my stay in Belfast and my Latte was always perfect and without a long wait.

Next to the Hilton hotel in Lanyon Place, great place to grab a coffee to go, either going out or returning to the hotel, great coffee.

Watch the world go by while having a coffee. Great place to take a break from shopping. Staff are very friendly and will stop at nothing to help if they can.

Lovely coffee shop. Its in a really nice venue and you can grab a flat white and just watch the city wake up. Staff are great, coffee as always is perfect. Would highly recommend.

Like all Nero's, this is the same. great coffee and nice treats. always a warm chilled atmosphere here too. one of my favourites

Opposite St Georges Market (a must see for visitors Fridays,Saturdays and Sundays). Good coffee, pleasant staff, quick service. Very clean. Parking available within 50 meters at multistory.
