Go in Neros for a coffee a couple of times every week, I have a small 2kg Pomeranian which will only sit on my lap as he is a very timid dog and frightened of other dogs, I was told by one of the staff for the first time that my dog had to go on the floor, there was a big dog opposite me so didn’t want to put my dog on the floor as this would have freaked him out, the lady was very rude, we had to leave and quite frankly won’t ever go in there again!!!!!!! Shame on u Neros u have lost me and all my family as customers!!!!

It’s always a delight to pop in here for a coffee and snack in the morning! We’re usually greeted with a friendly smile and a lovely chat while Andreas or the lovely Tracey makes our cappuccinos! They also provide hot food with a good selection of excellent snacks! Special thanks must go to the hard working Tracey and Andreas! Well done team! Clap 👏 👏

We love this place in Billericay High Street! Always excellent service from the staff. Nicely prepared food and the very best of cappuccinos and hot chocolate! We always use this Cafe Nero, the staff are friendly and the drinks are great! It’s in the centre of Brentwood and has a good seating area.

I find that all the Nero coffee cafes are dirty But the coffee and staff are good , I think it's down to understaff.

We love going into Nero.The team are always friendly they aim to make a perfect coffee. The chairs has a coffee shop charm about them I love the comfort of the interior. The best coffee experience in Brentwood still!!

Having been using Cafe Nero Brentwood regularly for some years now. The staff are friendly enough and very helpful. However, they are still using throw away cups when every other coffee house has gone back to using china. This is supposedly for hygiene reasons. Yet they are so busy standing around gossiping and playing with customers dogs that they cant be bothered cleaning the tables and chairs

I use this Nero regularly and unlike other coffee shops this one holds onto it staff who are hardworking, helpful and friendly. I did have to wait a few seconds more for my coffee when the barista took the coffee over to a disabled customer but surely that just shows how thoughtful they are?

Very dirty all over and the toilets are disgusting. It needs re decorating or to be cleaned up from top to botom.

Great location, not far from Wilsons corner and close to most of the beauty and hairdressing salons in the high street. Always busy, gives free internet and always friendly.

I usually pop to Starbucks but Tried nero for a change. Very slow. Tight squeeze between the queue and seating. Really milky weak coffee. Probably recommend Starbucks a block away.

Handy location and quite busy, coffee, hot chocolate etc. all good BUT the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired

I wanted a mocha coffee but they had no chocolate so didn't bother to stay. Staff wasn't even sorry that they had no chocolate

If your lucky it there are some very comfortable sofas and armchairs. Excellent efficient and helpful service. Latte was good.

What you expect from a Nero; good coffee and a good set of chairs. I love to just sink in one and sip my coffee.

It's got to the point where I had to vent my frustrations, as I live just off the high st and go here at least once a month. They are unbearably slow, standing behind the counter twiddling their thumbs whilst only one person serves. To be fair, there is one woman who works there who is wasted there. I don't understand how you can walk a few steps to Starbucks which is busier and be in a queue for a very small amount of time, in Caffè Nero, they have more than one customer and everything stops. Needless to say, myself and others got out of the queue and I'm now enjoying my food in Starbucks

The queue can take a while to vanish but the fact that this place always has a steady stream of people passing through speaks volumes. The coffee has a small bitterness to the flavour, which to me is coffee as it should be, The service is always very good as the staff are always very courteous and knowledgeable. Worth a coffee, especially when its freezing cold outside!!!

Very dirty but coffee OK toilet was filthy not impressed at all wouldn't go again....floor was covered in rubbish tables not cleaned chairs falling to bits...

El interior necesita refrescar y es desaliñada pero claramente fuertemente utilizada. Servicio en el mostrador de pequeño era lento. Tarta Bakewell grasos y sin sabor pero el té bien. No es un gran ejemplo de la cadena.

Me encanta el café Nero, pero éste tiene el servicio más lento que he visto. Mientras que 2 miembros del personal son de limpieza uno está preparando bebidas calientes para una larga cola de gente, en un ritmo pausado. No de la manera en que debe hacerse.

Went here for a coffee and sandwich when working in the area. Love Caffe Nero's coffee but whilst the coffee was good the Australian barista was too occupied in flirting with a customer that she had to take the order twice and then forgot where we sat for the sandwich which ended up cool rather than hot. Maybe I will use Costa next time I am in Brentwood.

Love Cafe Nero and went out of our way on our journey to have a coffee and croissant here. Found the cafe really grubby with tables full of uncleared crockery and when we found a table that was clear it had not been wiped. Toilet cleanliness leaved a lot to be desired as well.

Niente che vale la pena di ripetere. Solo qualche sandwich banale e poche fette di torta senza fantasia, in compenso però il prezzo è eccessivo. Molto tranquillo il posto e lo consiglierei al massimo per un tè con biscotti guardando il passeggio.

Possibly the worse coffee I have ever tasted.It was watery, bitter and tasted like it had sat around for a couple of hours which is strange because it was made in front of me.Tables were dirty and the place was littered.

It is hard to write something constructively about Caffe Nero in Brentwood.To begin with, the layout is such that you are almost always on top of someone when you visit. Don't get me wrong, it is only a coffee shop, it just feels like they are absolutely trying to squeeze the most out of the customers who visit.Without a shadow of a doubt the most annoying thing was the waiting time for a Coffee. There were people standing there for almost 20 minutes. In this day an aged, that is unacceptable. It got to the point where people were walking out in frustration - this place must lose so much money because of this.I chose Nero that day because they usually serve a good coffee, but was left bitterly disappointed by what we received. It was watery, had no flavor, and felt rushed - which was ironic considering how long it took to actually get it.My final gripe is the layout. This has to be the most un-baby friendly coffee shop I have ever visited. You couldn't squeeze a buggy through the main part as the queuing was such a nightmare.Not all Nero's are as poor as this one, however this is one I will not visit again

Pk so we all had to be a trainee at some point, but the management had decided to let the trainees just do their thing! We had 2 Chi Latte's, both cold and with no froth on top, a hot chocolate with no cream and cold enough that the bottom had a load of gritty chocolate bits in it, and a caramel latte with no caramel. The Croissant was left in the machine going hard, but this was because the trainee serving us decided to serve 2 more groups? Really not sure what he was doing, but our order took 13 minutes, and by the time we finished the queue was out the door. We didn't complain, we were having a good day, however I did feel the need to to point out what had happened, and that clearly the manager didn't actually know what was happening, I suggested maybe watching what the trainees were sending out, as if they aren't picked up they will continue to do it wrong. The management didn't actually seem too bothered, said they would watch them, but no apology or anything. I do believe it's maybe the management there that are the problem. We still love Nero's, but we need them to be getting it right.
