Caffe Nero in Three Rivers

At Caffè Nero Rickmansworth my drink is never accurately made - based on the description on the board and when I ask for the missing ingredients to be added, I get a look of disgust like I’m a total inconvenience and the correct drink is slammed onto the counter in disgust. After all if I’m paying for a drink as described, I think I’m entitled to it as described? The Caffe itself can be quite busy which is not an issue in itself but the staff rarely get the chance to tidy up or wipe the tables. Expect to have to do that yourself. What’s interesting is that Caffè Nero don’t have a feedback function on their www. Missing a trick or just not interested?

The Cafe Nero in Rickmansworth High Street is a good place to get a drink and chill out. The lady who served me was very friendly and welcomed me and was able to deal with my purchase. It was clean and a pleasant environment.

It you want a well-managed Coffee shop probably best to avoid this one. The staff don’t care or do anything to sort out issues in this cafe, whether it’s about filthy tables/floors and poor behaviour of some customers. You could probably do almost anything and the staff would turn a ‘blind eye!’ My coffee visit ruined yet again. Won’t be returning.

I swore I wouldn't go back into this coffee shop after witnessing an upsetting event between a dog and very young child. However, needs must and the other coffee shops were too busy for our liking. Again, a LOT of dogs in there. And this time constant yapping and people allowing their dogs to jump around and more irritatingly sit right by where you queue. I know this is difficult for dog owners to understand but not everyone likes your dogs jumping at them, in the way and having to be stepped around. And they certainly don't want to spend £20 on a lunch to be ruined by VERY large dogs barking. This went on for at least an hour and not one owner gave up and walked out. It beggars belief that as a society we find this acceptable. Dogs aren't allowed in supermarkets (other than working animals) but for some inexplicable reason are allowed in coffee shops. If you don't like dogs then give it a wide berth. My friend doesn't mind dogs but isn't happy in there either.

It was disgusting in here today. I bought a hot chocolate and it took them about 10 minutes to make. I expected it to be nice 1 because it's more expensive than Costa for the same drink and 2 because they took so long to make it. But no, it tasted disgusting , there was more frothy bubbles than the actual drink itself and I'm telling you now that was not a hot chocolate I drank, I don't know what it was. It was a waste money and time.

Easily the best local coffee shop. Good quality coffee, friendly staff, some who have been there a long time. I usually have a croissant, which is always fresh. Pretty clean.

The toilets are awful , badly kept , terrible sink ! No toilet roll so I used the disabled toilet which was equally awful! Smelly and disgusting!

did you know that after closing they just throw away all their perfectly good unbought food? unlike others *cough* costa, who give away as much as possible to foodbanks and hostels. at least some is not wasted. and its so expensive for no reason.

The service was fairly good from an efficient member of staff. The coffee and cake were their normal offering. Tables were cleared fairly promptly. The branch seemed clean enough. Average.

Busy cafe with a good range of seating. Staff seemed keen to serve. Grilled sandwich was quite tasty.

These people do not think it necessary to display their food hygiene rating, which does not surprise me as it is 2, although earlier in the summer they were wrongly displaying a 5 rating until they were challenged about it. Although it is not law to display the rating, it seems strange they we were willing to do so when it was a five. What does the tell you?

What's to say. It's the standard Nero's, but the ever changing staff are always friendly and helpful. We also get extra stamps towards free coffee because we have our own cups.

Ordered a Cortado but it came without milk - basically a large espresso. I questioned this and was told that a Cortado doesn't come with milk despite there being large poster above the counter showing picture of a Cortado with a milky top (it's meant to be roughly half coffee, half milk). So I pointed at the poster and they still wouldn't accept that the coffee came with milk! In the end I lost interest and just asked if they wouldn't mind adding some milk, which they grudgingly did.

Popped in for a quick coffee on Saturday afternoon. Plenty of space and nice ambience inside. Service was a little slow but the trainee barista serving was very pleasant and made 2 very good coffees for us. The cake and croissant we enjoyed tasted fresh and were very good too. The toilets are a little run down but clean. Nice place.

Today as I placed my long order for my 3 friends I noticed the barista guy getting more and more huffy as the order piled up and I had to repeat things HE had missed.

Café Nero is situated on the High Street in Rickmansworth. It serves typical Café Nero fare - cakes and hot and cold drinks. It is a spacious café with plenty of tables but they are not kept that clean.

A pretty good chain coffee store, plenty of room and quick service despite being busy. Ideal place for people watching.

Hoy fue absolutamente excitante, personal que trabaja duro para mantener la larga cola en movimiento y un número de clientes con los perros bien educados sentado y esperando. Esta es la cafetería principal que da perros que es fantástico para Rickmansworth. A menudo me aviso muchos ancianos en sus propias que son tan contentos de ver perros allí y se convierte en un tema de conversación y el lugar tiene más corazón que muchos otros. El personal se ofreció a llevar a mi bandeja como tuve el plomo en una mano.

Este Nero ha sido renovado recientemente, y ahora tiene las sillas más cómodas. Que normalmente está lleno, ya que está en un lugar privilegiado en la High Street. Llevo muchos años viniendo aquí más días para una pausa para el café, pero últimamente ha sido un poco chocante! El servicio era muy lento, y a menudo desordenados mesas no había papel higiénico en cualquier inodoro y sin jabón. Recientemente ha una reforma que parece agradable y café todavía sabe muy bien. El personal aquí solía ser increíble, amable y rápido y recordar su bebida, pero últimamente el servicio ha ido muy cuesta abajo. Una chica era muy gruñón y parecía que estaría en cualquier otro sitio.

El domingo en Rickmansworth. No demasiado abierto pero esta cafetería parecía atractivo de todos modos. Había una larga cola y aunque 3 personal estaban de guardia que parecía sólo uno podía servir a la vez. Después de 10 minutos y la cola para conseguir más tiempo uno de ellos nos dimos cuenta del problema y vinieron a la rescate. Muy buen café y vale la pena la espera. El gran marca negra, así como el baño de hombres parecía como si hubiera una pelea. Muy desordenado y sucio. Fue realmente el colmo. No volveré si en esa zona

Although it could do with a bit of a refurb I thought the coffee was piping hot and tasty and the flatbread was first rate, plenty of mozzarella and those trendy middle class sun dried tomatoes.

Have out of office meetings here, it's a really good setting, fairly quiet and great for an informal meeting

Visitamos en un domingo por la tarde; indiferente servicio y basura por todas partes - que puede haber tenido una punta en pero sin duda que podrían haber limpiado por lo menos algunas de las mesas. Había un perro en un sofá, moscas sucios loos, y un montón de pequeñas por todas partes, fue retirada de tazas de café, ¡puaj.

Café es amargo, los zumos helados son horribles y todo el ambiente se siente totalmente sosa. Este lugar enormemente le falta personalidad y es una pena que decidimos hacer esta marca en particular que la ONU-estimulante. Sentado aquí me hizo sentir bastante deprimido y no podía esperar a salir.

A great place just to have a coffee and relax, read a paper or do nothing....Gets very busy most days.... Sunday morning great time to go.

It is good for a quick coffee but the deco and the seating is a little dated and worn out now and could do with an update. the seating area was a little messy when I visited but the coffee was fine.

You can have a nice treat in here. Coffee is great and pastries are great. It's located in the middle of the high street and it's very good to meet up with friends. Seat by the window and you have privileged view to the movement of the busy high street.

I usually pop in when shopping in Ricky. I've always found the staff to be friendly and competent although at busy times you have to wait a few minutes. Their coffee, mocha and muffins are excellent, and there are free newspapers to read too! Only downside is that at certain times all the best seats are taken over by mums with buggies.

Not a good place to relax. Service slow and not very good customer skills. Go on the wrong day and it is full of buggies and babies crying whilst their mothers are chatting. Prefer to visit the other much nicer coffee places in Rickmansworth.

I had to wait for an hour in ricky high street and I was walking up and down hoping I wouldnt have to wait on the street. Luckily the only place open at 8:30 on a sunday morning was nero. Great coffee and the staff were also very helpful. I wad very thankful and impressed and I thoughly enjoyed my hours wait

Excellent choice of drinks and little chocolates to go with your drink. Plenty of seating and newspapers available to read or buy (The Times only). Tables outside as well, its a place to take your dog at the weekend at the end of a walk.
