Lovley food , busy little spot. Good menu. We had toasties and fries which was delicious. Waitress was rude and uninterested in her job.

Great little coffee shop in the heart of Lindley. Good food and excellent coffee at prices which are way better than the corporate chains etc. The staff and owner have also created a comfortable, informal and relaxing atmosphere.

Having heard good reports about Caffe Dolce Vita, i thought i would try their full English breakfast. The cafe is not big, a dozen small tables i think, but enough room between the tables so you don`t feel cramped. You can either order at the counter or sit and wait for someone to come and take your order. I ordered the full English with Earl grey tea, £8.95 + £2.50. The tea was brought within 2 minutes in a nice looking teapot, which meant i had 3 nice cups of tea out of it. The breakfast arrived about 10 minutes later, 2 sausages, 2 rashers, small amount of mushrooms, 1 fried egg with runny yolk, 1 hash brown, half a tomato, yes just half of 1 tomato, there would have been baked beans also, but i don`t like them, 1 slice of toast, which was really nice. All in all not much for just short of £9. The sausages were not very tasty, bland i would say, the bacon slightly over done but not burnt, i did eat everything as it was all edible. I would give this meal 6/10. The cafe is used by many local people as the owner was chatting to customers about other members of their families. It`s a shame the meal was not great, as i imagine this cafe is a nice place to visit with friends and enjoy a coffee and cake, which did look amazing by the way, maybe i will go back and try a slice of courgette and lime cake. They do sell whole cakes for parties etc.

I love to visit this cafe. The coffees are great as well as the baking. One of my favourites is the lasagne to go. Plenty stocked up in freezer. It’s better than the nearby popular Italian restaurant. Sam and the staff are so friendly.

A beautifully clean, well-maintained coffee shop in modern surroundings with great food and lovely staff. I called in late morning and had a toasted current tea cake and a pot of decaffeinated tea. The size of the tea cake was much larger than those served in any of the coffee shops in Huddersfield town centre and with lots of butter too and at a good price. Some people were having early lunches and the food looked really good, well presented and everyone cleared their plates which is a good sign. The home-made cakes look absolutely delicious. The menu had lots of dishes not usually found on menus around here – Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine and many more all very reasonably priced too. They serve home-made soup, have a good range of hot and cold sandwiches and paninis, cookies, ice creams, milkshakes and slush puppies, together with a good selection of teas and coffees, and a wide range of wines, prosecco, beers and ciders with a ‘Happy Hour’ every day, seven days a week. There is something for everyone here and the staff are delightful and nothing is too much trouble.

Myself, and some family including 8 children came to vanilla bean 2 weeks back and had such a pleasant experience. We all had dinner, drinks and pudding and every single meal was lovely. My 11 year old niece had the lamb shank and she said she loved it. The lady that served us, I believe her name was Carol Was such a delight. She was so happy, lovely with the children and nothing was too much. I know the food plays a massive part in eating out but so does the staff. If I was to go to a restaurant and have rude staff it would make me not want to go back. Carol was so welcoming so thank you for that. I was Carol in a shop not long after going to vanilla bean and she recognised me from our outing to vanilla bean and again she was just so pleasant and lovely! I’d definitely say she’s a credit to this place. We will definitely be back. Thank you x

The restaurant has now permanently closed as of 30/10/2023 apparently due to foreclosure on the property . We found this out once we arrived at the restaurant yesterday evening 12/11/2023. Ignore the fact you can still book online as we were also victim to this. Such a terrible shame as this was a fantastic restaurant.

Finally after 3 and half year of moving into the area and trying out alot of places for there kebabs, hands down this the best kebab I had in a long while. The special mixed kabab, when it came I thought what hell is this!! But it was absolutely delicious. The naan was equally nice. If you love kababs you won't be disappointed. Call handler taking order was pleasant and delivery driver got my food to me on time. They got a customer for life.
