Came here on a whim. It was a good whim. Breakfast served the whole time because they're good people. I'm still sitting here trying to savor the now depleted steak and eggs. It was good. Nuff said.

Locally owned & they just celebrated 20 years in business! The perfect local staple. I always have a wonderful time at Cateye and leave satiated. The food is amazingly delicious, the staff is extremely friendly, and drinks are fun and affordable. I highly recommend a visit anytime you're brunching in Bozeman.

This place has been in Bozeman for years for a reason. Great brunch here and a fun theme. The food is flavorful and well done. The prices are a bit higher than I remember a couple years ago-but that’s not super surprising.

Cat eye was my go to place until they stopped following their own system, frustrating to stand on an empty stomach and watch a party with the same number of people get shown to a table when I put my name on the waiting list first

So glad we got our breakfast here! Sugar was such a spunky and tentative waitress and the breakfast drinks and food were delicious! We will be back!

This is such a gem of a place. One of the reasons I love coming back to Bozeman. The food is great and the charm is even better.

Will call the cat eye cafe the gross eye cafe! Watched the dude in the kitchen touch peoples food with his bare hands while touching is hair! Food came out and was nothing exciting. The female manager had a bad attitude when I talked to her about the quality of their food and how it has changed. So many other places in Bozeman or surrounding areas to eat an amazing breakfast at. Don’t waste your time or your money here. It’s extremely overpriced and not worth it.

We got the potato bacon soup in a cup, with a half a sandwich, it was Turkey tomato and lettuce. The bread was not toasted, the sandwich got mushy immediately and was falling apart. The turkey didn't taste like anything special. We did not like the soup. Too much pepper, it was very dark which you don't expect for potato soup. It said it was served with chips, I expected potato chips, but it was served with these big flat frito-type chips. The service was okay, nothing outstanding. At one point I saw two employees outside, looks like they were helping this guy get a dog into a dog crate inside of a van. Although I thought it was very magnanimous, and I love people that help animals, I wondered if they washed their hands when they came back into the restaurant. I did not finish the soup, and I brought my sandwich home, deconstructed it and threw the mushy bread out, it is some bacon and some lettuce of my own, and grilled the sandwich, so it was pretty good. The price was $14.75 for a cup of soup a half a sandwich and about 10 corn chips. I thought it was a little too expensive.

Always friendly and clean. Great food choice and atmosphere. And, if something isn’t right the staff will swiftly resolve it. Highly recommended for food or a drink. Also, seems popular with cyclists, which is worth knowing if you are out and about.

Just sightseeing in Eye and found this fantastic place! Food was fabulous and loads of it. Very reasonably priced. Very good service. What's not to like!

We ended up here trying to grab brunch before a busy afternoon. It was a tad chaotic being unsure of how/ if we put our name in and if the staff knew we were waiting, but other than that a good experience! It felt like a local-hole-in-the-wall-loved type of place. We ended up getting to sit outside on the side patio and it was really cute and nice. The blueberry french toast was the group favorite - super unique and delicious!

I ate here with some coworkers yesterday. When they say Bozeman citizens are serious about brunch, they mean it. These people do it like no one else. Whatever genius came up with banana bread french toast needs a nobel prize. The eggs were perfectly cooked (sunny side up can be hard for some restaurants to get right but they nailed it), the bacon very nice, and potatoes were yummy. They made me some chocolate milk! 10/10 would recommend

Lovely little cafe with excellent food. Most delicious omelette. There’s a little bench outside where you can sit if you have a dog and the lovely staff brought out some high stools for us to use as tables which was cute. Would be perfect if you could take dogs inside too obviously! Really friendly and great service.

I've been several times and usually cannot rate enough. Today however, was different. It was a peak time visit which I understand... Service was very friendly and quick, cannot fault the waitress. The menus appeared grubby and sticky. They needed a wipe. Our food arrived swiftly even though busy, however; I had the vegetarian breakfast. My eggs were solid and my beans cold. My son had the chicken burger and fries. His burger was nice but the chips were extremely overcooked. As it was a treat I didn't want to complain and cause embarrassment for my son. One of our favourite places to eat and we will give another try as I'm hoping this was a one off.

Food always great…service soooo friendly and hygiene second to none. Great little cafe! They also have a specials board with good choices on it.

Had lunch here today as we have done before. As always the food was great and the service was welcoming and friendly! It is very comfortable and the cleanliness standards are very high indeed. Great for just a coffee, an all day breakfast or lunch. Unusually for a cafe like this there is also a a good specials board to chose from. Great place!

Found this amazing little cafe quite by chance. Called in for lunch expecting only sandwiches but this is so much more. We shared a starter of hummus and then sampled main dishes chicken shish and a vegetarian aubergine dish both served with rice and salad. Absolutely delicious The cafe was packed but we were quickly found a table. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Do visit you won't be disappointed.

This cafe is incredible. The owner, makes an effort to know all of the customers and nothing is ever too much to ask. The staff are attentive and amazing. I call this place the “Gem of the border” as it is pretty much on the border between Norfolk and Suffolk. Plus the owner is call Chem.

Cafe Eye, popular with the locals and tourists alike we first started coming here for coffee and a sandwich whilst renovating our bungalow, it’s now morphed into Sunday morning breakfast and it’s lovely.. highly recommend

Stopped for coffee . The place was busy but managed to find a table. Great service, good price and it was clean and tidy.

We were told the wait was going to be 25-30 minutes and so we waited out in the rain, bc they don't have a waiting area. It was an hour and a half before we got out table! They called groups ahead of us bc they skipped over our name, and when we eventually got a table the food was great, but do not tell your customers its going to be 25 minutes when it is actually 1.5 hours, or at the very least keep them updated that the wait is gonna be longer.

One of the things I like about Bozeman is it it has so many fantastic restaurants. And the Cateye is one that I go to every single time I’m in town, and usually every single day that I am in town. If you want to know what kind of breakfast they have I can tell you it’s the best in the west. It’s tempting to just eat off the menu but I will tell you that their daily specials will make you want to ride at dawn.

Coffee and cake with family was great. Saturday afternoon visit was well catered for by a friendly waitress. Delicious cakes and very accommodating to the children. Well worth a visit!👌🏻

I was here some years ago when I visited Lamar Valley Yellowstone, and I had the best corn beef and cabbage. Unfortunately this time around it's not on the menu anymore, but their brunch menu is equally impressive, and worth waiting in line for. Cornbread to go for my flight 👍 Friendly staff, good service.

Great brunch! We stopped on a busy Saturday, had to wait a bit for a table but not too long. Food and mimosas were EXCELLENT, and the service was great! Parking is a challenge but it's worth the trouble!

I came here with a friend for a casual lunch, just expecting a normal cafe, but I was blown away. The food was lovely, the staff were some of the friendliest I’ve ever met, and the desserts were to die for! Will definitely be coming...

Hands down best biscuits and gravy here to Oregon, and a few other states! The biscuits are hand made and always the perfect fluff! Like a kitty! Nomnomnomnomnom Must try their banana bread French toast as well! Yummmm

I honestly hesitated on writing a bad review because I actually really like the food here but I’ve had two bad experiences with the service so I’ve decided I won’t be going back. My first experience was with my friend who was not done with his food and our waitress just swooped by and grabbed his plate without even asking if he was done. The second time was more recent, my friend and I finished eating but we still had our mimosas and the waitress came up to us and said “ok ladies there are hungry people waiting” causing us both to feel uncomfortable and we had to chug our half full drinks (which we paid good money for), when we looked at the time we realized we had only been sitting down for 50 minutes and she waited until she had already taken our 22% tip to be rude

There are no words to describe how delicious the food is at The Cateye Cafe! My son and I went twice in the time we spent in Bozeman, and tried to go on our last morning in Montana, but Cateye had a long line, and we had a flight to catch. The Alley Cat Sammy (fried egg, bacon, Brie, tomato, peppercorn aioli) is fabulous, as is The Cowboy (banana bread French toast with marionberry/yogurt sauce, amazing taters & sausage-photo below). My son loved the Purrfect Lunch (BLT Sammy w/Soup of the Day, cauliflower & chorizo). A special mention NEEDS to be made about our servers, Sugar and Spice, who added everything nice to our visits!

I got the special. Chicken fried chicken with chorizo gravy, two eggs, taters, and corn bread. Coming from the south, I was a little skeptical about the corn bread, but I was really really good. Especially with a little honey on it. The chicken fried chicken was surprisingly light, really juicy and very good. Topped with the chorizo gravy made it even better. We have been here in the area for almost a year now and just found this place yesterday. Definitely recommend you give them a try. Nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly too.

Fun quirky Bozeman original! Great food & great staff.

We had previously used this place to get some excellent coffees. On this return trip we decided to try the cakes as well. What an absolute treat. The chocolate brownie was pure heaven. The strong Americano coffee was also a caffeine lover' s dream.

Fun cat-themed restaurant where the waitresses wear cat ears and go by 'Sugar' and "Spice'. They keep the coffee coming, and didn't even make fun of me for ordering the 'Cowgirl' ;) Eat outside on the patio if you can during the summer.

Stopped off here for lunch and wished we hadn’t! They were about to close but they said we could have a sandwich and drinks. We ordered two tuna Mayo sandwiches, one white bread , one brown bread. When the white bread arrived it was hard...

With a unique, homey setting; shaded outdoor seating; friendly, efficient staff; and delicious food - what's not to love about this place?

This a a cool little restaurant in downtown Bozeman. We wandered inside and were immediately seated. The interior is really awesome with rough brick walls cat themed artwork and cool little statues. Plus a T-Rex which is awesome. The waitress saw about us very quickly and our breakfast was out to us in a flash. Highly recommend eating here.

The food at the Cateye Cafe is all so good! I have been through Bozeman a few times in the last year and have made a point to stop there every time.

I came here with my family who's from out of town on memorial day. And they brought their boxer who is living his last days on this earth. Our waitress Sugar was so sweet and kind. She sat with him and fed him bacon pieces. I can't even tell you how much that meant to all of us. Thankyou Sugar, for your kindness and your excellent service for myself and my family. And as always, EXCELLENT food :)

The Cream Cheese Stuffed Croissant French Toast is the most delicious breakfast food on the planet. Their breakfast “taters” are magical. One of the best breakfast/brunch places in town.

The Cateye is the cats meow! Went for breakfast and was greeted by the most friendly server ever. Great vibes here and the playlist was a fantastic addition to the eclectic atmosphere. Of course you want to come to eat! The breakfast quesadilla with pork and beans was the best I have ever eaten. I’m still enjoying it while I write this deserving review. Attentive service, friendly people, fantastic fare. This is a must do for everyone traveling or local. I will return every visit to Bozeman.

We waited over 20 minutes to get our food and there were not a lot of people in the place. We put our names in at 1 and were told a 20 min wait. By the time we were seated and ordered it was 2:15 when we got our food. We were told they were out of most things and refused to let us order Eggs Benedict because they were out of sauce, I said that was fine I wanted it without sauce. They brought it out to me and told me I had to build it myself and there was an up charge because we had to order items separately. All in all bad service, slow, and the flood wasn’t great. Wouldn’t return.

Tasty food (I got the pork belly grilled cheese) and nice atmosphere. Very accommodating folks, and the hostess this morning was a total sweetheart. Would absolutely recommend!
