This is a wonderful restaurant. Absolutely delicious food, so tasty and beautifully cooked. Wonderful warm service in a beautiful building. And it's a business with a social conscience. A starry starry gem of a place.

A lively little gem in Stockton. Full vegan menu. The tomato and rosemary sausage roll was delicious and so flavoursome! The bubble and squeak was a good portion and served with beans. The food was very well presented and fresh. All the staff were so lovely and friendly! Refreshing to see as most are so dismissive in chain restaurants. Highly recommended

Me and my partner went to Cafe Van Gogh while staying in the Lambeth area during a trip to London and absolutely loved our experience. We were sat upstairs in the adorably cozy and beautifully decorated restaurant and received consistently warm and welcoming service. Neither of us are vegans but can genuinely say this was one of the best meals we had on our last months trip throughout Europe. We had the blueberry pancakes which were delicious and fresh and the tomato rosemary sausage roll was flakey and flavorful. Another must have is the chipotle aioli served with a side of crispy garlic roasted potatoes. Everything was so good we went back the following day and took breakfast to go which was just as tasteful as eating in. We can not recommend Cafe Van Gogh enough and are very much looking forward to visiting again on our next trip!!

My daughter recommended eating here, so I met her for an evening meal. Really excellent experience with friendly greeting, and nice cosy atmosphere for a dark winter's night. The food was delicious and promptly served. Nice to experience new flavours and creative vegan cooking

As a vegan I love to seek out independent vegan businesses when I am visiting the Capital. This cafe was a short bus ride from Waterloo and is housed in a charming building. Outdoor seating when the weather is fine. Inside is relatively small so consider booking to avoid disappointment. Food was lovely, staff amazing - we will be back!

A meaningful place that can bring up your mood to the 🌟🌟🌟. Very warm environment with a great touch to the detail; like using similar chairs to the Van Gogh one and the lovely starry night ceiling. Although the aesthetics of the place is not the important thing. The important part is that they help people with disabilities to live happy lives. Lovely place

I visited yesterday whilst I was in London for the day. I have been following Van Gogh cafe on Instagram for a while and really wanted to go. The cafe is so lovely. I was welcomed at the door and given a large choice of seating. I didn’t go upstairs but was told that it was getting busy up there. I chose to sit in the back garden. I had the garden to myself initially but then it started to get busy (I arrived around 12 pm on a Tuesday) . There is a lovely spiral staircase to get to the upstairs area and there are Van Gogh paintings up. It was clean, bright and the food was amazing. I had avocado and sun dried tomatoes on sourdough with a cappuccino. I enjoyed it very much. The staff were nice and friendly. I would love to return again when I’m next in London. The cafe is easy to find, about 5 -10 Mins walk from a oval tube station.

I'd heard rave reviews about Cafe Van Gogh, so on Monday after the most recent, I booked for that week treating my friend to her first ever vegan meal. It's a beautiful venue with a wonderful concept of training the most engaging Special Needs people in hospitality which I absolutely applaud so I knew I just had to be here. Under the fun and efficient enthusiasm and guidance of Steve and Michelle, it's an absolute gem of a place. Their Sunday Roasts are legendary so I'm already planning on bringing three other friends for that soon It's popular as having both indoors - two floors - and two outdoors seating areas we were spoilt for choice but chose outside for a sunny Thursday. The vibe is relaxed, loving and happy and it's contagious to all of us who were present. I deliberately take photos of uninhabited areas to avoided having people shown, so don't let that give you the impression it wasn't busy, it was The food was delicious, having seasonal produce and new innovations.I can't wait to see what my next visit will have me devouring.I actually had all three desserts but thankfully my phone camera was playing up so I only have my friends photo of two of them and the avocado on sourdough was a hit with my non vegan friend . . .so much so, we've booked dinner for 8 September. Like all good restaurants I have my favourite waiters and today it was the lovely Billy and though I was looking forward to having Tristan too, he was already off shift. . . maybe next time. I really like their online booking system as it gives clear guidance, its quick and easy, with two email reminders to confirm my booking and offer the option to cancel so there's absolutely no reason for any guests to be a no show. I can't recommend this enough not just for lovely vegan fare, event nights and "pay it forward" {where you can by a meal or coffee for someone who can't afford one} it's just the whole ambiance, ethos and eating experience so I'm eager for them to thrive even more than they already are as they deserve to. I'm hoping they'll be able to create more branches may in North East London where I am . . . There is one accessibility toilet which is large, clean and roomy plus it has nice hand washes and cream, which are always important when dining out. The Oval {Northern Line} is a 5 minute walk away, simply exit crossing the road to the church, walk alongside it and it's the first right into Brixton Road, two blocks down, it couldn't be easier. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants great food, a wonderful atmosphere and community vibe, and who knows they're supporting the most deserving eager workers you could come across.

This cafe is a gem of a find. Perfect atmosphere, lovely staff, yummy vegan food and fantastic ethos. Can't recommend highly enough and will definitely be back next time we're in the area. Please support this fabulous little cafe.

I was staying in an airb&b nearby and after googling local vegan food i came across Cafe Van Gogh. I’m so pleased i found it! I had a hot breakfast of sweet potato fritters with nduja beans. It was very tasty and came beautifully presented. I also had one of the biggest almond croissants i’ve ever seen! The member of staff who greeted me at the door was so incredibly attentive, happy and enthusiastic. The cafe is also beautifully decorated, with its own starry night sky in the upstairs dining area. I really enjoyed my visit and hope to come again! Thank you!

Still one of the best vegan restaurants not just in London, but anywhere! The food is always excellent, the staff and management are friendly and the ethos of Cafe Van Gogh is one of the things that sets them above other establishments. If you are in London, I heartily recommend a visit.
