CAFE VALOR in Birmingham

We went here following the reviews but were disappointed with the lacklustre ambience and poor service. Furniture is basic. No service with a smile from servers, having to ask for cutlery and napkins meant that we did not stay. You have to order at the counter. There was better friendlier service given to bigger Asian parties. Music was too loud but if you like an Indian vibe you will like it. The drinks and muffin were fine but we will not be returning or recommend.

The food is amazing and the people are really nice.

The service was a very warm friendly welcome. Humairah was a pleasant and cheerful. Lovely atmosphere and vibe s excellent.

Over all 5 it was nice , relaxing. The music collection was amazing mix of 1990 and 2000. Would come again with the girls. Highly Recommend.

Food was really nice, the decor has a very warming vibe to it, got good amount of seating space so we not squashed together which is a nice change, the desert section was really nice but the Ice cream just hit differently today

A cute small local café I wanted to try. Lovely indoor and outdoor dining . Very calm and relaxing to do work and have lunch. So many options of drinks and food with amazing flavour ; it’s endless. They always go above and beyond in their service. That’s why I keep coming back.

Food was amazing and freshly cooked to perfection ,staff could use a little bit more training on approaching customers and taking orders , besides that resturant is lovely ,the decor and seating is perfect .Would deffinately come again 👍🏻

Well what can I say about Cafe Valor. Its an hidden gem, that I never knew was there. The deco is absolutely stunning and the food and service is of high quality standards, where they are knowledgeable about their food they service and help you with any food concerns. This is reassuring especially if you've got allergies, I have visited Cafe Valor on three occasions, twice dining in and once as a takeaway and I've not been disappointed, with either options. The food is absolutely delicious and this why I can't go through Moseley without visiting this beautiful cafe. I highly recommend.

Food was nice but poor customer service. staff were clearly poorly trained, inexperienced and I had seen they took down wrong orders and went to wrong people with the food including me and many others in the the space of the 90 minutes we was there. Staff looked lost, poorly organized, untrained and running around confuse even though when we went it was quiet and not busy as it was a early afternoon weekday. However the food we had was nice.

It was our first time here and we didn’t regret the choice, it exceeded our expectations because we weren’t expecting much, but the food and service impeccable, 100% would go again when we’re back in Birmingham. And thank you to the boss man for the ice cream for the little one!

Went with my family for breakfast and it was honestly soo good. The breakfast were the perfect portion size and was so tasty. The staff were so welcoming and inviting.

Lots of potential. I used to do my work here. Nice vibe, and I’ve heard good food. But they’re spreading themselves too thin. Too many items or things-what to go for? The posters outside look tacky. Undermines the place. Astro looks tacky compared to some parts. The staff are good but seem young. Maybe make it the team more diverse too and not seem as if the owners are constantly watching over the customers type vibe (even though the owner is lovely). I’d make it more diverse too. Make it more of a work vibe. They’ll smash it. Harsh review but very good place should visit.

Not a bad place, food slightly too oily and the place could be much cleaner considering I went midday. Prices are reasonable and staff very polite

I've been here few times and always enjoyed the food! The service is really good and the place is nicely decorated. They have a good variety of breakfasts and hot and cold drinks to choose from.

The food and drinks were tasty and of high quality. There is definitely something for everyone as there is plenty of great choice available. The interior was aesthetic and had some cosy seating too. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Rash, Sara and Humaira who were down to earth, polite and very attentive.

This breakfast menu was delicious and all freshly made. We ordered the Lahore breakfast and additional aloo paratha with chaii. The food was outstanding and it’s the only place, which I know, doing buffalo milk tea. They forgot to give the spicy potatoes but apologised straight away and brought them immediately, with a complimentary puri. If I could give it 10* for service and quality, I really would!

This is the place to be, great food variety & prices low, as a student peaceful place to chill or work with my friends, ask for the student menu… you will be surprised so cheap and the owner with his team are so down to earth… luv it..

Hi everyone I was in this coffee for my breakfast this morning than it was bad experience I order one European omelette unfortunately i find bone in omelette is so dirty place and I'm still vomiting 🤢 from this bad experience and is bad service

I had a warm welcoming lovely service I had a triple sandwich with egg sausage turkey rashen and cheese it was lovely and tasty 😍🤩 Also mocha was lush 😍 Will definitely recommend for everyone to try it out

Please avoid this place… needs to be shutdown immediately….I was really looking forward to this meal, but it was extremely disappointing. The food tasted awful, and I’m genuinely concerned about its quality—I’m hoping I don’t end up with food poisoning. On top of that, some items were missing from my order. Definitely not the experience I expected.

This place few years back used to be a vibrant place with everything made in house including desserts. Unfortunately the last time I came it was in 2023.i had a simple mcmuffin and it was grose so didn't go back until yesterday, I thought maybe things have changed. I had a crispy chicken loaded fries. AGAIN I was extremely disappointed. The chicken was a chicken burger cut into pieces. The only thing that was fresh was the fries. Not going back again maybe in few years time just to refresh my experience. For the price you pay at least invest in good produce, there is a lot of competition nearby, I'm surprised it's still going🤔

Had a really good experience at this cafe, the recommendations were great from the staff and the food was lovely. We had huge portions with the desi breakfast which was enough for the two of us and the english breakfast was also quite filling. Service was really good from all the staff and Rash was also really lovely - all the desserts looked good and since there was so much to offer, Rash was nice enough to let us have tasters and very kindly offered us a Kunefe brownie too. Will definitely be coming back with some of the girls and even just for a quiet stop to get some work done remotely ☺️

The flavours were perfectly balanced, especially the desi breakfast. The presentation was stunning. The staff was so attentive and friendly it made the experience even better, especially the owner rash who was really helpful with what to choose and gave free taster's and a lovely kanafa brownie for my sister who was fasting. He was also very respectful, especially as women. The atmosphere here is so inviting and relaxing. We loved the decor it really adds to the dining experience. This place had such a warm and cozy vibe it's perfect. I'll be telling everyone about this hidden gem. Will definitely be going back.

Me and my mates come to cafe valor every single day, the vibes are amazing, the atmosphere is great the co workers especially ruqayyah is amazing and so friendly you should give her a bonus.

Came to Birmingham to see some family and I wanted to get some food. I googled halal breakfast in Moseley and Cafe Valor came up. Very good service and the food was very good. It’s a shame I live 45 mins / to an hour away else I’d come every day.

We’ve visited cafe Valor multiple times and they have never disappointed. The food and service by dua was amazing.

Food was top notch had the royal english breakfast, and the Mrs had desi breakfast all bang on. Food came really quick would definitely reccommend and would re visit to try other stuff!! Inside was really nice also

Went here on boxing day for brunch, great food and great atmosphere! Slightly pricey however you can tell they used premium and fresh ingredients so justified! The staff even gave my little one free ice cream. Great place for brunch!
