Cafe Tesco Store in Pembrokeshire

Must be the friendliest staff ever, a pleasure to visit, food is good and very reasonably priced, cafe is spotless clean as well, we would highly recommend

Purchased a Toasted Cheese and Ham - £4.25. When it arrived, there was no butter - one thin slice of cheese and one thin slice of ham ! ....! Fish, chips and mussy peas was £8.50 !! ........wont be visiting the Cafe again

2pm in the afternoon, thought we would use the Tesco cafe for a late lunch. The cafe was quiet, two tables already eating their meals, one couple in front of us & two people behind us. Unfortunately, we could not have realised how late the lunch would be! We ordered our lunches together with our coffees, no problem - but then we W-A-I-T-E-D & W-A-I-T-E-D & W-A-I-T-E-D. 2.55pm, our lunch eventually turned up, lukewarm & accompanied by a couple of wilted leaves & half a cherry tomato (salad?) No apology was given for the long wait. Perhaps if the Cafe Staff were to concentrate on the job in hand & spend less time discussing with another customer the intricacies of said customer delivering their own grandchild (really needed to hear that in a place serving food!), their service to their paying customers might speed up a bit! I would suggest to whoever has the contract to run the Tesco Cafe that they reduce the variety of food available on their menu & go back to a more basic menu which their Staff, at a push, might be able to handle & deliver quickly.

Popped in for a breakfast, it was half empty but after queuing to order for 10 mins was told food would be 45 mins. I ordered a breakfast, waited a long time for it and it turned up with undercooked sausage, broken over cooked egg and a piece of barely cooked toast, I thought given the time it took it would at least be cooked! I would have been embarrassed to have served this personally but I guess standards are low……

Lovely scrambled eggs & smoked salmon in a bagel for breakfast when popping by for breakfast. Good value for what you get too with a few choices. Recommend if passing by and hungry.

We were pleasantly surprised when we called in this cafe for a breakfast had great coffee and bacon rolls. The cafe is so clean, bright and airy.

I regularly come into tesco for shopping and always have a cuppa and breakfast before hand and today iv never known staff to be so rude, dumped plates on an old couples table just to talk to friends walking by and the way I notice she speak yourcustomers with no respect, food was fine by the way.

Had a takeaway lunch of sausage and chips for the family. All freshly cooked and really tasty. Definitely worth the money

Cafe recently been refurbished I am lover of good coffee and had a really good cup here today cafe has been tastefully refurbished has a nice clean airy feel. Staff are extremely pleasant and friendly and all appear to be happy to work here. Well done Tesco

Never a queue, but never anyone on the till! So always a wait! Coffee is okay, tables do need to be cleared now and again especially now the the used tray rack has gone! Staff are okay and pleasant enough! But okay for a coffee when shopping!

Stopped here for coffee and toast and what a mistake! Cannot see any food now because it is one long wall, no self serve coffee, just stand and wait and wait and wait and wait! Nobody on the till, nobody on the food, nobody on the hot drinks! Five counter staff passed us by without even a nod or be with you shortly! Ten minutes later we were served coffee and toast, told to sit down and i’ll bring it over! More coffee in the saucers than the cups and cup handles were covered in coffee (very messy) had to go and find paper napkins before we could even touch the cups! Coffee was okay! But well and truely drunk before the toast arrived! No service and no pride in their work staff are a joke!

This reasteraunt is O.K. if you are in a hurry and need a reasoably quick meal. The menu is not very inspiring and the food is quite bland.

I had to wait 25 minutes for a coffee and a toast that was so bad I didn't even eat. Will not be going to a Tesco cafe again.

Have popped in on a number of occasions. cafe clean, staff friendly. Food basic, as you would expect but more than adequate.

Food is always nice, staff are always freindly. Love the breakfast. Cheap food and plenty of it. Service has got better recetly as there seems to be more staff.

Was in Tesco's and decided to have lunch to save time cooking. The food was cooked freshly and was superb value for money. The staff are so enthusiastic both about the food and the service they provide.

Popped in for a quick snack at the end of the day. The man behind the counter was so helpful and provided me with a splendid plate of goodies for only miniscule charge. Will certainly visit again.

Llamado con mi nieta y mi hija, que es celíaco. El menú es limitado y no es barato, pero el servicio que teníamos de Barry fue excepcional. Él estaba muy bien informado sobre la condición ofrecernos el libro para comprobar los ingredientes. Las superficies regadas y él sus manos antes de obtener una placa de lavavajillas - para evitar la contaminación cruzada. El servicio era mejor que un restaurante de 4 estrellas, pero por desgracia la comida no era, era bien. Las raciones eran adecuadas para un almuerzo y los niños recoger y mezclar un sándwich recién hecho y 4 artículos del enfriador, que incluye yogur, batido de frutas, patatas y ollas fue una buena relación calidad-precio.

If you need a good value meal with decent portions then here is the place. We use Tesco a lot on Holiday and have used this cafe a few times. Limited menu especially for veggies but good value.

About time somebody shouted about this dump. It's a joke all that fresh food and any ingredients you may Need and they serve the worst crap it's unbelievable. The only nice thing was the coffee and that's coz it's out of a machine

nice place to pop in for a cuppa and a cake , just inside the town and good parking to the close ammenity

Habíamos ido de camping y pasamos una noche húmeda en la tienda terriblemente tempestuoso. Decidimos tomar el desayuno en la cafetería tesco. La señora que nos sirvió el lunes 22 de agosto a primera hora de la mañana estaba alegre feliz y muy amable. Realmente nos alentaba.

Sat at a dirty table waiting for someone to clear, ended up clearing ourselves and requesting a cloth to clean before eating. Portion size of meals was very small and chips we could count. Cutlery was not available and had to wait for.

If you like your food greasy and dried up from being under lamps then you will love this place - I don't so only have a cup of tea or coffee. Its handy that's about all I can say........

The coffee was good, but small packets of biscuits were overpriced and there weren't many cakes to choose from.

this is regular stop for us mainly for a drink but this month we had a meal there and we treated very well food cocked well and served nice, good for a lunch break and when you are busy.

This is a huge grocery store with everything you need. Has clothes and other household items to chose from. We got all out grilling stuff their

Stopped here for breakfast as it's near to travelodge few minutes in the car, the staff are very nice and helpful food and teas were very nice! Good price as well

On my visit to Tesco's Pembroke Dock recently as soon as I walked through the Door there was a Fantastic Welcome and made my trip around the Store enjoyable, The Staff were all so Helpful and Friendly and nothing was too much, The Food in The Restaurant was also 1st Class and Very Clean, I would recommend Tesco to anyone, Especially Pembroke Dock, Well Done and Thank-you.

We shopped here three times whilst staying locally. Each time we had a coffee break in the café, looking out at gale-driven rain.In between the bustle of the store and the lousy weather, the café was a great, warm place to spend 20 minutes with an excellent cup of coffee and cheerful staff, especially the one with a turkey on his head!

Easy access,, helpful staff, not too much variety of food,, but tasty food,, nice drinks,, handy after shopping..

It's so handy put your shopping in the car or eat first always fresh and hot and you can pick what you want on your meal

Typical Tesco café. Food OK but, as always, is only luke warm. Prices not too bad. Service adequate.

We recently stayed in Pembroke in a nearby hotel, we decided to have breakfast there on the Saturday. We were served by a member of staff, Gary was his name, nothing was to much trouble, he was polite, served with a smile and thought his customer service was second to none. He deserves a pat on the back , well done :)

We were staying nearby but breakfast wasn't included so we decided to try the Tesco cafe one morning. It was quiet, with only one couple in front of us but there was only one member of staff on duty who seemed to be struggling to cope with the order ... it didn't fill us with much confidence, however, with three hungry children in tow we waited in line. A lady joined the queue behind us who commented that there was usually two members of staff at this time of day. While we were waiting two gentlemen who were obviously locals and known to the member of staff, bypassed the queue and put in their orders while she was totting up the couple's order. To our amazement, she then continued to serve them before us! When we were eventually served (with no apology for the wait or explanation of the apparently two-tier ordering system!) the food was ok - the cooked food has obviously been under the heat lights for some time but the children were just happy to be fed. My husband and I had toast which was freshly made and was fine. Needless to say we didn't go back again and found alternative arrangements for our breakfast for the rest of our stay.

An average, or slightly below average, supermarket cafe, with little ambiance or anything special to pick it out.

My daughter and I called in for a snack after shopping We both had a cold drink and a plate of Nachos which we both enjoyed The café was clean and the staff were cheerful and pleasant

Ok if you don't mind eating food that has been sat under lamps for ages. The only item that was freshly cooked was the egg. Sausages were black and fried bread so hard it was impossible to cut. Tasteless and bland. My sons food had hairs in it. Won't be eating there in the future.

I'm visiting friends here this weekend and called into Tesco's cafe for breakfast. I had the 8 item special and it was lovely. The food was fresh and hot, was very tasty and great value for money. The lady that served me was really friendly and I enjoyed my breakfast greatly.

Good value tea/coffee stop. Somewhere to recover after your shopping or to gather strength for the trolley dash around the isles.

My friend and I needed our lunch in Pembroke Dock - could not find anywhere suitable so we went into the Tesco Superstore and decided to have their Fish, Chip and Mushy Peas. The food was great, freshly cooked and pipping hot, it is a long time since I have enjoyed a Fish N Chip lunch as good as this. The staff where friendly and caring, happy to serve us - nothing was too much trouble - if I'm in Pembroke again I'll make a point of visiting Tesco and having another Fish and Chips.
