The customer service is great and the portions for the price is amazing. I usually frequent them.

I've ordered takeaway from Kokoro a few times and the food has always been subpar. The meat is almost always gristly and the sauces lack flavour. Avoid!

You’re basic buffet Asian fast food spot. Nothing wrong. Good service. Few different ranges of chicken in sauces. Got a large mix and match with rice and noodles and then chilli and sweet and sour chicken. Was pretty good. Good service. Only a tenner. Will be back.

Called to order food for collection and was told they don’t do this any more as we need to use Deliveroo. Disgraceful fleecing customers in this way!

Chicken curry katsu and the udon is so good. I highly recommend the chicken katsu udon if you are eating in store.

I love kokoro. I have been visiting it since 6 months now. Best lean protein meal after workout and good value for its portion and size, for lazy days when you don’t want to cook for yourself. They are always very generous with the meat portions!!!!! Sweet Chilli Chicken with Rice is my go-to meal every time AND they make the food very quick.

I order a mix and match and it came with a long thick grey hair. It was inedible and when I called up, I got hung up on and rudely talked to without any refund. It was very disappointing and would throughly recommend if you want unhygienic food which is disgusting from rude waiters. Never going to order from it again and if I was you, I would stay away!

If I could put -2 I would do it. Еvery time I return to this place and give a new chance, I get more and more disappointed. Today was the last time. I ordered sushi and bulgogi for delivery, the sushi was all turned over, I understand that this is the fault of the deliverer but! when you buy sushi from them in the store, they are much more than what I got, this is sushi for a 6-year-old child, they are tiny! I don't know how many times the rice was overcooked, and it tasted like it was food for baby, the bulgogi rice is even worse, the rice was so overcooked that I had a feeling as if someone had already chewed this rice and just spit it out into my plate! the meat was completely without juice. and I'm only talking about this place in Epsom, we have already bought food in Redhill many times and there have never been any problems, it feels like this is a completely different kokoro, the taste of their food is much better. This Kokoro in Epsom disappointed for the umpteenth time. I dont want to write bad comments but this was the last straw. I just threw all my food in the trash, a waste of £24. Thank you Epsom Kokoro for the disgusting quality of food you serve to your customers...

Food (katsu curry and teriyaki chicken) was way too sweet. I love Japanese food for its Unami flavour but this did not tick any boxes for me. Sorry but I feel cheated out of my money.

Definitely 5 stars. The staff are so helpful and kind. They asked made us feel very comfortable. The food is extremely cheap. The food is also very tasty. The raw salmon sashimi is kind of dry. But it is still delicious. The chicken katsu was very good. The curry was in between the spicy and non-spicy. It is very great for having a fast lunch. This is a definite must try.

I mean it is filling but whats the point if the chicken is just oily ? The rice just plain ( no salt) and the noodles over powered by a onion taste . Ive been twice and i haven’t enjoyed it both times . I wont go anymore . Chicken is حلال though which is great .thanks but its a no from me

Most of order didn’t turn up, delivery person didn’t seem to know where the rest was, suggested we ring Kokoro Epsom. They didn’t know either and pointed us in the direction of the app.

I order from here via deliveroo. The miso soup is lovely and the sushi is delicious. Great menu and very fast delivery. I would highly recommend it.

I purchased a sushi box on Wednesday 5th May 2022 and whiles eating it I found a long dark hair in it as it tangled around my tongue.. that’s was nasty I throw the rest away. I went back and spoken to them the following day, The shift manager didnt seems like he cares, he just reply, sorry, NOT would you like a refund or a replacemet? I find it odd but I guess that how they treats complains I would not recommended that place to anyone.

Can be a long wait around 6-7 as they have one person serving. Long line in the shop. Probably quicker to order on Uber. Also, reading other reviews, concur that some of the staff can be rude.

Not very happy with kokoro the portions are definitely getting smaller and the wait time longer!!! Si sad as I absolutely loved this takeaway but I suppose the more popular they become they start reducing the portion size ?!!! It’s nearly £10 for a large and the pots only half full!!!! I never order delivery as its only one option the large for another £ on top and im sure unless you ask them to make sure it’s full the delivery driver is under suspicion because looks like someone has eaten a quarter!!! I will still use kokoro but make sure they are giving the right portion amount!!!!!

Spring rolls I ordered were clearly uncooked in the middle and soggy so I couldn’t eat them. I also had the teriyaki chicken and rice which was really greasy, fatty chicken, almost no sauce and no vegetables. Had to throw most of it away. For £15 felt like a waste - 0/10 wouldn’t eat here again

Lovely staff, quick service and good takeaway food.

The staff are extremely rude here. It is the worst Kokoro I have been to and I have been to 5 branches. I have only continued to go here from time to time because I like the chain's food and this is the nearest branch, but I am tempted to drive to another town's branch next time if I fancy some food from Kokoro. Someone needs to teach the staff how to deliver good customer service or other customers will be doing the same.

kokoro is always good, but at the Epsom chain, the amount of salmon on the sushi is the bare minimum and always looks very tight, which is a shame, as every other kokoro give good sized portions, which is frustrating as it let's what is a good place to eat down

Bit of a limited selection of hot food, especially the base (can only choose between plain rice and yakisoba noodles), but you always get a fully-packed tub for around £7 which isn't bad! The regular sized tub easily fills me up. The sushi is a bit more expensive though.

It looks good but the taste of the chicken was really but plus a lot fat . This business going down.

Usually tasty, always kept warm and microwaved though. However, be careful they give you the right order - wanted Chicken Gyoza Udon which is thick noodles with broth, topped with Gyoza and I ended up with a Yakisoba topped with Gyoza (no broth, wrong noodles and veg) and I still paid full price for it!

The Noodles are bland. The food is overrated. I’m not sure what the hype is about. The only thing that increased this rating was the customer service.

Very slow staff. All other stores are always fast and easy. Maybe would be faster if they told customers to order whats on the menu rather than special treatments.

Incredibly lovely service and tasty food

I've always loved Kokoro. So happy to have one in town. It does not disappoint. Deliveries are always really hot and packaged extremely well so nothing spills and no room for contamination. Only visited in person once but the store was clean, food fresh and staff were friendly. I haven't had a bad experience and will continue to be a regular customer.

Ordered All salmon love which arrived looking nothing like I would expect. Sashimi on side are basically 2 cubes of salmon with 3 edamame pods next to it. The rolls barely saw the salmon roe.

We’ve eaten from Kokoro twice and it has been absolutely delicious! We had lots of delicious sushi and tasty noodles! We will definitely be ordering again soon!

Katsu overdone but the salad box was rubbish, almost nonexistent.

Absolutely dissapointing Vegetable noodles! paid £5.99 for plain noodles with 2 pieces of carrot. The image on Kokoro’s website and Deliveroo’s site shows an inviting photo including lots of vegetables however I reveived plain noodles without any taste. I rang Kokoro Epsom and was not welcomed in terms if my feedback and the lady was rather rude and had no interest.

Waited over 2 hours for a cold meal

Still waiting.... 2+ hours after placing order... another 40 mins to delivery. On placing order was told 60 - 90 mins. Now it’s 120 - 150 mins. Will not use again.... Ridiculous.... DO NOT ORDER... Eventually received food after 3 hours. Cold and missing items. Also they replaced noodles with spaghetti. Cowboys....

Went for breakfast this morning at Cafe Rouge,Epsom. We both chose the Rouge breakfast. I had my 2 eggs poached & my wife had hers fried. We also chose a latte & hot chocolate to drink. Very enjoyable drinks & breakfast, with excellent service. Will be back soon.

My husband and I popped into Cafe Rouge for lunch on Saturday and were very pleasantly surprised. I say this because the outside looked a little shabby but I have to say as soon as we stepped inside we were greeted by a warm welcome and after a few minutes we were given a choice of tables and then served by a very polite young lady, we ordered and our food was there, piping hot, within 15 minutes. The quality and size of portions were very good, a vety enjoyable lunch.

Epsom Cafe Rouge benefits from its dedicated waiting staff, food quality and authentic ambience. The relaxed atmosphere is ideal for long, lingering lunches with friends or for quick catch-ups. The food quality is consistently good, we are never disappointed. Hat's off to the management for getting it right when so many fail.

A lovely relaxing atmosphere with attentive waiter. We both enjoyed our three course meal. No complaints. It was also helpful that the restaurant is situated only a few minutes walk from the train station.

I could not fault the lunch (risotto, chicken and mussels) we enjoyed or the speed of service, which was attentive and not intrusive. The lunchtime special offer menu was good value for money. Cafe Rouge has an enviable position on the High Street, with buses stopping outside and the train station five minutes walk away. No complaints.

Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. I can’t recommend enough. I left a very expensive scarf at this restaurant and much to my amazement the scarf was found and as I’m not from the Epsom area, posted back to me! Needless to say I was extremely pleased! Thank you very much!

Met the fam for new years day brunch. We chose Cafe Rouge as they serve breakfast to 11.30 and it is is very good value for money and so much nicer then a cafe breakfast. We had a baby and buggy with us and the there was plenty of room to move the buggy and pop a high chair on to the end of our table. The restaurant wasn't busy today, it might be a bit different if all the tables are full as they are quite close together. Note you are not able to use any vouchers or meerkat codes for breakfast, our waitress advised they can only be used after 12 midday. We all had a breakfast choice of sort, I opted for a full breakfast with a poached egg which I really enjoyed. Service was prompt and good and we would definitely go back again.

Another negative review, I'm afraid.

I ordered a steak, chips and a salad from the main menu. No salad arrived and no waiter came by for me to request it. I could not see anyone to ask to reqest it. When I did eventually see a waiter I explained the problem and he said he was going to speak with the manager. It was too late for them to bring the salad as I had finished my meal by that time. The manager came to me and there was no apology except that she was going to deduct the salad from my bill. Well of course you would if no salad was received. I had also asked for a glass of water with ice. I got a glass of water with one tiny piece of ice in it. I thought it was very poor customer service.

Has the benefit of outside seating in an area where you can watch the high streets activities. It is Neo=french but having said that,yhe food is good.

My wife and I met three friends here for lunch and we were very pleased with the food, the wine, the service and the price. My boeuf bourguignon and my wife's duck confit were as good as they have ever been at any Cafe Rouge. Our friends liked their boeuf bourguignon and fish and chips too. I think the total price of £99 was reasonable for five main courses, a bottle of house wine and two soft drinks. The restaurant has character too, a quaint old building on the high street.

We hadn’t been here for ages but this was our second visit in 2 weeks which is unusual for us but very simply, the reason is consistency, from the excellent food to the superb service from the manager who is so friendly and accommodating.

Me and my partner we went for breakfast on Thursday, menu was quite big and had all the important stuff on it. I went for grande rouge breakfast and its was massive. lovely cooked poached eggs, nice sausage and plenty of toast. it was quiet and we had nice table next to the window. Service was good, our waiter Dominic was attentive and polite. We'll be back for more :)
