Considering the location and the amount of kids that visit the pools, the prices are ridiculous! Best thing about this place is the view!

I recently came to your cafe this morning to purchase a ice cream for my godson who is 3 years old.The lad offered me ice cream and I said he can't have that as he's lactose intolerant do u have ice poles he said yes we do and apon trying to purchase one he then refused to serve me saying g he can't sell me a ice cream if my godson has a intolerance. First of all it not his decision as to what he can and can't have. Secondly he can't refuse to sell an ice pole I had a very upset and distressed 3 year old because he wanted an ice pole which by the way was absolutely fine for him to have as they don't contain milk there made from ive and water and colouring I will be leaving g a bad review on Google

Stopped here for a couple of hot drinks. The server was very friendly and patient whilst we were deciding what we wanted. The tea was Clippers and they even had oat milk. The rest of the menu seemed locally sourced and the views are beautiful from this spot.

The 2 girls working today, 30 July, were amazing and went above and beyond. My lad fell, really scrapped his knees and they helped me to clean him up and gave him a plaster. We later purchased a very reasonably priced ice cream which he really enjoyed. Thank you 😊

Having supported Roma Cafe since it opened, it has become our go-to first choice for coffee, pasties, sausage rolls and cakes. However, on the last three occasions, the staff claim to have RUN OUT of vegetable/cheese and onion pasties by 12.30pm which is the quiet period before others arrive for lunches. Three disappointing visits to our favourite place will now make us look elsewhere for a replacement “Favourite Place”. Come on staff, don’t lose any more customers because we matter too.

No better location from a seaward perspective. Latte I had was great at £2.90 flapjackery nonsense looked good and October sun was blazing. Don't tell anyone it's five star though or everyone will start coming.

I had already picked up and put 3 of their hot drink cups and put in public bin that had been discarded from their tables. Then gave mine back to the shop manager who refused to take it pointing to the public bin. Due to covid regulations. NEVER experienced a coffee shop not taking their coffee disposable cups back. Rude and hostile attitude

Only gave them this as the lady that served us was nice but the hot chocolate was not nice and did not have any taste to it. So wont be going back again.

They do great coffee but had a horrible experience yesterday. No one was queuing and I made a mistake and went to the kiosk the wrong way. I was confronted by a really nasty women with a face full of hate berating me for coming in the wrong way. I apologised profusly for this mistake which wasn't done on purpose, all the time she was on the phone. I have been served by her before and she is so unpleasant I don't ever want to go there again also they are expensive over £2.50 for a small coffee. She obviosly hates her job and hates people.

Absolutely terrible. One star is too much. Very rude woman with bad attitude working at Café Roma today. I was going to have a coffee and maybe something to eat, my friend would have as well. Due to the way I was spoken to we left. I won't be back and I will not recommended café roma.

Great pit stop on a dog walk, handy if you are using the Mount Wise lido or doing a spot of fishing off the pier. Friendly staff, fantastic views and great coffee. They serve sandwiches, pasties, cakes and ice creams. All the seating is outside. Take away is available. I would visit more often if they stayed open later.

A regular haunt for me for coffee and a cake in a super location away from the madding crowd with magnificent views of the river Tamar, Mount Edgcombe, pleasure boats and huge great naval ships coming in and out of the naval base. It's only a little hut but the coffee is good and the food includes pasties, sausage rolls, cakes and crisps. It's alongside Mount Wise swimming pools and two play parks plus it's a popular spot for fishing.

Lauren was a most engaging waitress who looked after us, most helpful in explaining every question and put us at ease. The steak meal was very good, exactly how I like it cooked, pink with tasty caramalisation with double cooked chips...yummy!

Popped by here for a quick bite for lunch, met by friendly staff, got a good table, and considering the huge size of the place, food was served quick and was tasty too. Good selection for vegetarians too!

These reviews are fake or long out of date, new situation: The current people are scammers. THREE times they've taken money from me and delivered nothing. Do not order from here or you'll go hungry and waste HOURS with your bank fraud department, good luck!

Not the best! Flat prosecco by the glass but was promptly changed. We ordered a steak and a couple of other dishes. The steak we wanted medium rare, came out as well done and cold. We then had to wait for a replacement which did come out hot and closer to medium. It was very well seasoned and the chicken fajita was good, just already wrapped so not quite what was expected. The bruschetta was barely edible, very thick bread and dry with a taste of dirty grill. The service was polite and friendly, just not there for the majority. We were a late table but if the restaurant is unable to provide quality service and food later in the day, perhaps they should shut earlier.

Madii was an excellent server. My favourite thing was that she spoke directly to my children rather than to us for them. And her hot chocolate was 😘🤌 My only critique was the option to give a card tip was not provided and we would have left one.
