Cafe Nero in Belfast

The seats and marble tables shabby and could do with a clean, maybe cleaning products are on ration. Too a long time to be served. The floors have not seen a mop for months fag butts in side the restaurant.

As usual, the food was lovely, and the staff were very helpful, and carried my food upstairs. However, there was only 1 toilet open, of the 3 in the café, so there were queues, and the toilet wasn't very clean. Apart from that, I had a great time.

A great spot to take a break in in central Belfast. Staff always friendly and the coffee is good. Calm in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

Cercando un bar ci siamo fermati da Cafe Nero, di nuovo ed inspiegabilmente, eravamo stanchi dopo aver girato a lungo con le valigie e volevamo fare una sosta in un bar e sederci. Essendo in zona centrale non abbiamo trovato un posto a sedere nella maggior parte dei bar e arrivati all'altezza di Cafe Nero abbiamo ceduto e siamo entrati. Non sono mai stato un fan di Cafe Nero, ma alle volte l'esperienza complessiva non è stata malvagia, questa volta si. Del caffè non serve nemmeno parlare, semplicemente non è caffè, tuttavia spesso il locale è caratteristico, particolare, l'atmosfera piacevole e il personale seppur spesso inesperto almeno gentile. Questo Cafe Nero non ha offerto nulla di tutto ciò, personale freddo e distaccato (non maleducato per carità, ma non ti faceva sentire accolto), locale piuttosto anonimo e le uniche cose positive che vi ho trovato sono stati il silenzio (dato dal fatto che c'eravamo praticamente solo noi) e la possibilità di una sosta al bagno...

I had a great experience here, the venue was clean and tidy and the staff polite and very efficient.

Tried Nero and really enjoyed the coffee. The barista was friendly and chatty and made our visit excellent

Our reason to call In to this coffee shop was so that we could feed our 6 month old baby and have a coffee ourselves in a comfortable friendly environment. However staff refused to heat up my child's food, saying that it is aginst the law for them to heat up baby food. Now Yes I know that they have the right to say no to heating up baby food but as for the law preventing them from doing so its a complete lie! I would expext a coffee shop to be a family friendly place, Any other places I have been to including cafe nero in other towns have been willing to heat up baby food. We would not have been customers in their shop buying coffee if we didn't have to feed our child. I would not recomend this coffee shop at all, as staff are unfriendly and unaccommodating, also the disabled bathroom which was also the baby changing area was very unhygienic! To this day I wish I had taken a photo to show others. Appealing! I will not be back!

I loved the ambiance in here and the care they put into crafting their coffees. It is a wonderful place to take a break and some time to yourself.

Needed a quick coffee/cake, as limited time due to nest stage of our tour - very prompt friendly service and clean toilets

I like this Nero, as a bit of a coffee snob (there I said it) I tend to prefer some of the standalone local coffee shops that are targeting the higher end (and with it higher prices). But as far as chains go I like Nero A-OK. For me they create a better ambiance for the customer to sit in, serve better coffee than the other big chains and have a great smartphone app which works well with offers and rewards for various purchases as well as giving away a free coffee every week to O2 mobile customers on Tuesdays and Wednesday (that’s 1 on either of those days after 12pm, not a coffee each day). This particular shop is pretty nice, with friendly enough and quite efficient staff. It’s in a handy enough location too for anyone shopping around the Castle Court area, even though due to its location it may not be instantly noticeable. All in all it never disappoints.

Nero's management, I hope you read this. We waited for coffee for ages because you don't seem to have enough trained staff on. This isn't fair on staff or customers. Our drinks were rubbish, the chai tea wasn't well mixed, the white hot choc didn't taste of chocolate and the little desert squares were really bland too. As for the cafe itself...FILTHY. YOU NEED TO EMPLOY SOMEONE TO CLEAN. Really disappointing.

We used to stop off here whenever we were in Belfast as I liked their coffee. However, in recent times we have seen a terrible decline in standards. The place is very grubby, shabby and yes I will say the D word as it’s entyreky justified in this case...it is dirty. Staff are very impatient even though they’re nowhere near as busy as they once were & could oniy be categorised as being unfriendly with a couldn’t care less whether they have customers or not attitude. There are far better coffee shops nearby..we will never be back here again.

Stopped for a coffee which was of the usual high standard we have come to expect from Cafe Nero but fabric and furnishings were dreadfully dirty and we did not feel inclined to linger. Such a shame that quality of experience is compromised by the company's failure to ensure the cafe is clean. Furnishings need updated/replaced without further delay.

Latte served that took me nearly 30 minutes to drink. Over boiled milk. Is that how you train your staff to make a latte. Didn’t think so.

We were here on a busy weekday morning. The service was good so the queue moved quickly. Well organised and great coffee.

A great cup of Joe, lol. The staff are friendly, fast and a nice selection of goodies. A nice atmosphere and sure you just can't beat the criac in sunny belfast !!!!

This is a great place for a casual business meeting but also great for re-connecting with old friends. Tea and coffee are reasonably priced and you also have a good selection of snacks including cookies sandwiches and muffins. The latter are some of the best...

Nero was very nice indeed and would make a point of going there when in town. The staff are so nice and very fast in getting your food out to you. There selection of food is just what you are looking for when in town...
