Cafe Nero in Manchester

Este café con una segunda semiplanta se encuentra en la calle peatonal Market Street, junto a numerosas tiendas y bancos. Está bien para descansar y tomar un café si estás en la zona.

Entré a tomar un café rápido antes de pasear por Manchester durante el día. La decoración interior me pareció muy rústica, con un atractivo estilo europeo.El servicio fue excelente y cómodo. No he comido nada, así que no podría dar una revisión de la calidad de la comida.

Friendly staff here for once! Lovely pair of local lads on Weds morning offering great service and was nice and clean in contrast to its starbucks neighbour. Will def return!

Normalmente vienen aquí por la mañana antes del trabajo porque es tranquilo y el personal es agradable, pero más y más a menudo que estoy visitando la costa de al lado como Nero es tan frío! Puerta abierta y aire acondicionado siempre a todo volumen. No olvides tu abrigo.

10, 45 AM 15/07/18. El servicio aquí por lo general está bien, pero hoy entré y no estaba demasiado ocupado, pero solo había una niña sirviendo. Pedí un café con leche helado de soja, al que recibí un café con leche de soya normal. Como soy yo, soy demasiado incómodo para quejarme, así que acepté esto. También pedí una tostada, y mientras esperaba esto en el mostrador, una mujer me dijo 'discúlpeme' muy cortésmente a la mujer que preparaba una bebida detrás del mostrador, a lo que el empleado ni siquiera volvió la cabeza para mirar al cliente. y groseramente y sin rodeos murmuró el código a los baños, el cliente parecía muy confundido, y luego el empleado lo murmuró de nuevo más fuerte, parecía muy molesto a pesar de que el cliente había sido muy amable y parecía sorprendido por el comportamiento de la mujer. Aprecio que solo haya servido y ella estaba ocupada preparando bebidas, pero fue extremadamente grosero y me sorprendió porque siempre recibo un servicio amable en este café.

Lots of coffee chains abound these days but it is nice to see a place where the servers and staff is friendly and welcoming and follow instructions and offer good advice on what's good on the menu.

No soy un gran fan de café (ya dejé de fumar) pero mientras trabajaba en la ciudad y todas las tiendas y cafés este siempre ha sido mi favorito, el personal ha sido siempre muy agradable y sonriente. . . Y siempre conseguir un asiento en su interior, cuando fumé siempre sentarse fuera. Cada vez en Manchester que visite.

Very nice staff, warm welcome, nice gestures, we love to have our coffee there. We spent business time, study, friendly chat, family with kids. Love the caramel Macciato and Mocca with creme :)

Me gusta ir al café Nero en Manchester junto a Primark porque está justo en el corazón de la ciudad. El personal es amable. La principal razón por la que ir allí es porque te puedes sentar fuera cubierto y tener todo. Un café y una CIG.

Had a business night out. The medium hot chocolate was amazing and it felt like a really cozy cafe that is also quiet enough.

Two average drinks came to £8. Fair to say very over priced for what they offer. Pretty tasteless and service wasn't the best.

Por norma general me gustan todos los Café NERO, por su producto y por su estilo. Este además está en un buen sitio de manchester.

O local oferece bebidas quentes e geladas e também uma variedade de doces e sanduíches. Execelente opção para intolerantes a lactose ou veganos, pois o café dispõe de leite vegetal sem pagar nada a mais, basta apenas solicitar a substituição.

Out for lunch food was good as usual but one lady listens to everything you want and tells it to you its all wrong and she ends up overcharging you for something you don't want,I'd come back but I would ask to be served by someone else

Being Coeliac is is nice to go into a place and be able to get a bite to eat, however what one doesn't want is to be paying over the odds for a roll, when all other non gluten rolls were at least a £1.00 in the difference yet seemed to contain more ingredients that that of my gluten free roll..

Como buen café realmente las tiendas, tienen unas vibraciones y es bueno tanto para reuniones de negocios o simplemente un buen café fecha tener.

Un buen café con servicio rápido y agradable personal que son felices y acogedor. Sin duda volveremos y probar la comida la próxima vez.

Ambiente agradavel para reunir com os amigos, mas por estar muito cheio nao foi muito bom no momento.

Super barato e ideal para comer doces (brownies, bolos, tortas e afins). É tudo muito gostoso lá, fica difícil recomendar uma coisa só, haha. Eles possuem wifi grátis por 1h :)

Visiting my local Cafe Nero in Sale is always a great experience. Mags & her staff are always so welcoming, giving their customers the personal touch. The coffee is always the best,the ambience is to match.A pleasure to visit .

On a busy Saturday afternoon, we needed to stop for a brew to keep my dad happy. We went to the back and found some empty tables - hoorah! The tables were not overly clean, a bit sticky. Queuing up to order it all seemed a bit chaotic, one staff member asked if I wanted a glass and ice for my bottle of Diet Coke, then gave me a very warm glass - as though it had just come out of the dishwasher. However when I asked for a colder one, they did rummage around for a cooler one. No milk given for my mums cup of tea, had to go back and ask. Counter was a bit sticky too and I had trouble getting the tray of drinks off it, spelling my drinks a bit. A different person took my order to who I paid and to who made my drink. All very chaotic, but the drinks were appreciated and of a good quality.

Visited here and sat upstairs. Ambiance was lovely. Very peaceful and "away" from the rest of the world. Coffee was very good and the staff were all very polite. Will definitely be visited again!

We asked for 2 flat white coffees and the barrista knew what we wanted. Hurrah. Best coffee we have had in our entire time visiting UK. Thankyou

We had breakfast at Cafe Nero on our 3rd day in Manchester. After having had breakfast at Starbucks and Costa Coffee in London, we found Cafe Nero had more variety and more food to offer. We had 3 lattes, a muffin, chocolate roll, almond roll and a sandwich. It cost £20 altogether. The service was friendly and quick. There were loads of people queuing but the server was efficient and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Should you need to decide between Starbucks, Costa Coffee and Cafe Nero next time you're in the UK, I suggest you opt for Cafe Nero. It has more variety food wise.

Wegen des schlechten Wetters wollten wir nur einen Kaffee trinken. Doch im hinteren Raum fühlten wir uns auch mit den Enkeln sehr wohl! Die Getränkeauswahl ist umfassend, alles sehr lecker. Der Kuchen ist verführerisch lecker und sehr inhaltsreich. Wir hatten viel Spaß und kommen gern wieder.

Well, we only wanted a quick coffee while doing some business near Picadilly so went in here. Unfortunately the drink was somewhat bitter and lukewarm. Myself and my wife both had Americanos. Anyway the place could do with a bit of cleaning, but the real nightmare was the state of the gents toilet ( and my wife said the ladies was bad as well !! ). It seems both were filthy.These is basic cleanliness issues. It does not bode well for this chain of shops I fear if all are kept to this standard.

Popped in yesterday (29th Dec 2014). On arrival the tables near the windows were cluttered with empty plates and cups (pet hate) so had to clear the table myself. There seemed to be a lack of choice due to key items out which my son was really disappointed no ham and cheese toasties nor plane or chocolate croissants. I compare this to the Clitheroe Cafe Nero and there world's apart, this could be a gold mine so please up your game.

I had a Hot Chocolate that was so sweet, and only half a cup to boot, the table had not been cleared and they only came to do so when we were on the way out. the toilets well they were fun they had 2 one for the gents and one for us girls in the same room not what you would call clean either. In other words not a happy bunny with this cafe

The toasties in this Nero are unreal! As were the iced drinks we got, the only thing that let down our lunch was when we asked for cutlery and mayonnaise for the lady who we asked simply said "no" and walked away! not good at all. & the lady who originally served was hard to understand, as she mumbled some broken English. other than this, there's plentiful space inside and out to eat/drink and the food is lovely!

While staying in Manchester over the bank holiday weekend we decided to pop in to cafe nero on peter street to have a hot chocolate and a coffee.We noticed that they were promoting a new drink which was a chocolate -coconut Frappe we asked if thye could do this as a hot drink.They said a definite no!!! why i said because they dont sell such a drink only as a cold drink and it wasnt on there till so they couldnt ring it through.OK i said i will have a hot chocolate with a splash of coconut ,no we cant do that again becuase its not on the till.We can only do hot chocolate with these 5 flavours and pointed them out,Ok i said charge me for a hot chocolate with vanilla but put coconut in instead no the eastern europen girl said very rudely .Not only was she rude and totally unhelpfull but had not got the brains to satisfy a really simple request that anybody with a brain cell could have done with out a problem hence from now on it will be starbucks.

Yesterday morning I needed a cup of coffee and I went to this depressing cafe nero next door to Primark Manchester. I was served my this fat man who could not crack a smile, my cup was dirty. I then noticed the same dreadful man after he sneezed into his hands unpacking new muffins to be sold to customers. This man needs sacking or retraining on hand hygiene. He wasn't wearing any gloves as we'll. dirty dirty fan man.

lovely coffee and a good muffin! good natural light and soft seats, could spend a few hours there, no problem!

This review is not just for the Cafe Nero in Manchester, but from the one in Glasgow to Edinburg to Manchester to London. We were in uk for a holiday an found this lovely coffee joint . We didn't have this where we came from. The coffee was great! Starbucks cannot hold a candle to them. Will miss them now I am back in Singapore!

The coffee is great & there are a good range of cakes but the Red velvet cake melts in your mouth. The service is good in market street manchester but can be really busy at times so need to queue up. Wifi available
