Stumbled upon this cafe, looking for breakfast in the Pimlico area. Couldn't fault it. So refreshing to find an independent, reasonably priced, good quality cafe in central London. A real rarity, and will definitely return when I'm next in the area. The full English breakfast was delicious, the staff were lovely and friendly. The courtyard out the back was delightful. The cakes looked lovely but I didn't have any space for them! Highly recommended. Long may it last!

We were staying in The Sidney Hotel which was not providing breakfast options. The Cafe Mignon seemed ideal just around the corner. It has a nice breakfast menu with healthy options. I had the porridge made with coconut milk (my request) they had oat milk also. It came with compote or fruit. I had fruit and I was expecting berries on top but it came with kiwi, banana, pineapple, pear and blueberries mounded on top. The oats were not cooked to my usual liking (bit underdone) and they were jumbo oats but I really enjoyed this and it kept me full for ages. The coffee was good and the tea my partner had. He opted for the English breakfast which looked nice, 2 eggs, 1 rasher of bacon and 1 sausage, beans and 2 toast on a plate. The café is a good base to fill up nice and early ready to explore the city. They have freshly made cakes (banana and caramel, carrot cake) and brownies on display. There is an option to take away also. I cant recall the menu for lunch etc. but they do bacon baps, sausage and egg too. The second morning we went back and sat inside as it was a little cold. The toilet isn't accessible for disabled or with poor mobility due to windy stairs and it being difficult to access. I noticed the original dumb waiter, still being used to lift the meals between floors. Quite original!! Prompt service and speedy. They only take cash which is a bit meh, but meant my partner had to pay so maybe not so meh lol. It was open on bank holiday too which we were happy with as not all the cafes were.

Very good service the staff are very friendly and offer excellent customer care. Our breakfast was served on time. Overall I recommend this place.

Had a bit of free time so decided to pop in. Very friendly staff and one of the most heavenly carrot cakes. The full english breakfast was, as usual, delightful and the freshly squeezed orange juice finished it off very well.

I go to Cafe Mignonette often and can recommend their home made cooking. Quiches, cakes and friendly staff and atmosphere. Clean and what it says on the label. A friendly family run cafe serving honest good food. Enjoy!

Food just passable. Cafe does not take cards which is awkward especially for a tourist. Saw staff handle money and then handle a customer's croissant. I have not seen this low standard of hygiene in some time.

We popped in for a very late breakfast. Great service and food. Catered easily for vegans. There was no room inside so we were offered the garden with blankets and a heater. It was so pretty and made for a lovely experience.

We visited on a Saturday morning & both had the English breakfast. Service was great, breakfast was great (bonus points from me for the eggs and beans being separated on the plate!!) and the freshly squeezed orange juice was a treat. It is pretty cramped inside, especially when the tables start to fill up, but nobody seemed to mind - it probably created the nice atmosphere.

Just wanted a coffee and a little something to eat before trekking around London. Found this place and it hit the spot. Better than eating the standard buffet in the hotel. Outside seating is available which was nice, even in November. The mushrooms on granary bread is well worth a try or a bacon egg sandwich. Good food, good price and friendly staff. Great, small cafe offering excellent homemade food. The Full English Breakfast plate is really good and comes with buttered toast and good coffee-or the of you choice. The Salmon/Spinach/egg Sandwich is a very tasty speciality. Pricing is modest and service at it`s best. Fully Recommendable.

Abbiamo soggiornato a pochi passi dal Cafe Mignon, dove abbiamo consumato una buona colazione, mix tra tipica inglese e continentale. Oltre alla buona qualità dei prodotti, il locale risulta delizioso, in particolare per la presenza di un piccolo giardino interno, in cui abbiamo avuto la possibilità di fare colazione...temperatura rigidina, ma ambiente caratteristico.

Está muy cerca del hotel donde nos alojábamos y la elegimos por los buenos comentarios publicados en TripAdvisor. El local es pequeño, aunque también tiene un patio y terraza (también pequeños). Pedimos el desayuno inglés completo con café y zumo de naranja y no nos defraudó. Muy bueno (el café mejorable) y a un buen precio. Nos atendió una chica muy correcta. Repetiría sin dudarlo.

We were escapees very early on a Sunday morning from the most appalling hotel - the Blair Victoria - please don't ever book there! We were distressed, hungry, sleepless and the staff and the care they took of us at Mignon surpassed this - we came away restored and our faith in humanity too.....lovely place

Had a delicious French Tartine with scrambled eggs on wholegrain toast with tomatoes and turkey bacon very tasty but portion could have been more generous for price. Coffee slightly bitter and service a bit slowv

Encontramos este café mientras estaba de vacaciones en Londres y de inmediato se convirtió en nuestro lugar favorito para el desayuno. Los precios son muy razonables, el personal es atento y la comida está fuera de este mundo, debes probar la tostada francesa con bayas. Claro, es un poco estrecho, pero ¿no es todo en Europa? Jaja

The hotel we were staying in have a discount deal with this cafe so we went for our breakfast. Had poached eggs on toast, the eggs were a little underdone ...coffee was too strong for us, asked for it to be weakened but it just came back cold because she had just added more milk. The tables are very close together and you cannot move between them to get in and out, but we just moved the other tables to get out. Too much clutter in such a small space and just makes it feel smaller....a shelf on the wall had loads of plastic bags full of stuff on it....looks unsightly and maybe less is more. The young lady that served us was friendly.

The food was fresh and the service good, but it is definitely a tight aqueeze inside the cafe. Seems popular.

Von unseren 5 Tagen Aufenthalt in London, waren wir zwei Mal im Café Mignon frühstücken. Das Essen ist lecker, der Service einfach nur super und das Ambiente unschlagbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden von den lieben Bedienungen rundum verwöhnt. Auch beim nächsten Aufenthalt in London würden wir immer wieder kommen. Nur zu empfehlen! Also hin dort & Geld da lassen. Wir versichern euch, dass ihr nicht enttäuscht werdet.

It offers a good breakfast. Either you are an omnivore, a halal seeker, a health freak, a vegan enthousiast, or a gluten-free conscious, this café caters to your need. English breakfast is a standard must, with vegan and halal varieties. However, home made granolas, yoghurts and pattiseries are served too. A good start. I enjoy eating here.

just have a look how bad this food looks and it's just tastless. chicken is mirowaved. salad is not seasoned at all. sainsburys sandwich would score 5 stars compare to this.

I recently came back from a 9 day stay in London and stumbled across this gem of a place that was near my hotel. I loved everything about it. The place is cozy and welcoming, has inside and outside seating as well as a garden area downstairs. The staff are very attentive and most of all the food was amazing. I had breakfast there about 4 times throughout my stay and the full english breakfast, pastries and quiches were wonderful. I love the fact that they had freshly squeezed orange juice and their prices were reasonable. On a weekend, they are very crowded as I can see why. The food is prepared and presented well and they have lots of items on the menu to choose from. Customers will not be disappointed. Great place!

We love this place and the people working here! We live in the area and we go there for breakfast at least twice a month. It has an amazing garden, fresh and delicious food, and great prices (eg English breakfast with tea or coffee for £7.90). Grab a good book or some friends and go to Cafe Mignon!

Such a lovely little cafe, we had breakfast here and it was lovely, lots of healthy options and freshly squeezed juices, good coffee and friendly staff! We were staying at the nearby easy hotel and had a 10% discount with our room card.

Piccolo caffè con carinissimo micro giardino interno, tutto molto british anche se il personale di servizio è internazionale (una francese, una italiana e qualche britannica), colazioni per tutti i gusti, dalla classica britannica alla continentale, molto abbondanti sui piatti britannici.

Très bon petit déjeuner dimanche matin dans l'arrière-cour. Pas mal de choix, copieux et prix raisonnables. Produits frais (jus pressés, smoothies). Décor agréable. Prévoyez de la monnaie, la CB n'est pas acceptée et tous les distributeurs à la ronde étaient HS (il nous a fallu en faire 4 avant de trouver !!).

Fuimos para un rápido almuerzo temprano. Menú tiene una buena variedad de artículos. Tuve una patata chaqueta había chili, que era enorme. Creo que el papa podría haber sido hecho para otro poco pero era agradable sin embargo.

Agradable cafetería con una zona para sentarse en el piso principal y también una pequeña zona de asientos jardín discreto abajo de la parte trasera. El desayuno era bueno y con una buena porción, y tiene una buena relación calidad-precio a los seis o siete libras que paga un desayuno inglés completo con café y zumo de naranja. O al menos me pareció hasta que fui a la factura y me cobraron más de 10 libras. Tampoco me cobraron extra por algo como do, aunque eso parece ser parte de la oferta como también corroborada por los comentarios aquí, había un error, o la chica que servía me estaba en ella. Que dijo que era una cosa bastante sylphlike casi podía perdonar ella, especialmente cuando ella me dijo un día precioso.

Detenido en aquí una mañana desayuno durante nuestra estancia en Londres. La comida y el servicio eran geniales y eficiente. Hay una hermosa zona de jardín secreto/exterior con mesas ocultas hacia la parte trasera del café bajando un par de escalones. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Hay una amplia gama de rollos grandes y abundantes, así que es perfecto para el almuerzo. La única pega es que se tome sólo en efectivo y puede ser muy concurrido en horarios determinados.

Went for lunch with my partner and we had tortilla with a side salad, we both found this to be really delicious and filling it's got that kind of home made taste, we had freshly squeezed orange juice, some homemade cake, whilst sitting in the garden at the rear so peaceful and away from the traffic.I have also had breakfast here and I find that very good as well it's never greasy and the portions decent.Staff are courteous, give it a try, Highly recommended.

I ordered ham and cheese omelette with hash browns, tea and an orange juice. The tea tasted like cheap supermarket own brand. The orange juice, though freshly squeezed, was served at room temperature - not pleasant. The food was terrible - omelette and hash browns just tasted of stale grease. Service was slightly unfriendly.

On a trouvé ce restaurant un peu part hasard après être passer à la cathédrale de Westminster. Nous sommes arrivé vers 13h et nous avons pris un excellent full english breakfast pour pas très cher. Accueil est vraiment super! Profiter pour demander à manger dans le garden (ce que nous n'avions pas fait malheureusement)... On vous propose en plus du jus pressé ce qui est très sympa. Allez y les yeux fermés !

We had a very good full English breakfast and a couple of coffee's. Fast service, friendly staff and about £18 the bill, which considering the area ain't bad.

My husband, since and I had breakfast here multiple times this week while renting a flat in Pimlico for our London vacation. The croissants were 5 star great, many coffee types offered, great smoked salmon (lox), and the best cream cheese he has ever had, according to my son! Cafe is cash only, but there is an ATM machine across the street. There are some tables outside, as well as a few tables inside. The owner works hard - you can see it! Nice spot, reasonable prices.

Découvert par hasard, cette adresse est une très bonne surprise. Les plats proposés au Café Mignon sont simples mais très bons, frais et copieux. Un breakfast du tonnerre et un Fish and Chips vraiment très bon. Quant aux prix, ils sont très très raisonnables pour Londres. Les lieux sont charmants et le service est irréprochable.

Nous avons déjeuner dans ce café pour goûter aux fameuses " jacked potatoes ", la carte est sympa car il y a pas mal de choix, les jacked potatoes sont bonnes, servies avec des crudités. Les gâteaux sont faits maison et sont très très bons. Il y a un petit jardin qui doit être très agréable au printemps ou pendant l'été. Le rapport qualité prix est très intéressant. Endroit petit donc pensez à venir assez tôt ou à réserver.

We had Full English breakfast and Continental breakfast. The Full English was quite decent, plenty of toast bread, baked beans, two eggs, a sausage and a couple of small tomatoes, plus a slice of English bacon. Everything tasted good and the price was OK. They also served us some really good orange juice.The Continental breakfast had a croissant which was just better than the ones we had at the hotel. Same goes for the butter and the jam. That being said, and coming from French Switzerland, let's say it was far from impressive. I would stick to the English specialities instead.The place is just a small café place, so it is quite good for having breakfast or just a small break. Waiters were friendly and attentive.They do not accept cards when paying, though.

Siamo entrati per caso e per pigrizia il primo giorno (distava pochi metri dall'albero) ma subito ci siamo innamorati del posto, ben curato e accogliente ed il giardino è davvero un piccolo paradiso. Il cibo è ottimo e fresco 7,50 p per una full english breakfast. Ci siamo tornati anche il secondo giorno per una continental breakfast 6,40 p molto meno caratteristica ma più adatta al nostro stomaco! Ottimo davvero!

Great for brunch! We loved the atmosphere, service, and delicious food. It looked like that had a lot of other food options throughout the day. Freshly squeezed orange juice was amazing! Great coffee and tea for there or to-go. WARNING, they only accept cash! They were understanding and let us run to the bank and exchange our cash since we hadn't had a chance to yet. We would definitely come back!

Went here with a friend and we had conflicting opinions. I had a jacket potato which was quite dry and the topping to potato ratio was pretty low. However, my friend loved his meal and the smoothies and hot chocolates were awesome. I would go again and opt for a different food option! Can't wait for summer to eat in the cute little garden.

I ate here this morning with my partner for breakfast. We were greeted on arrival and were shown to a table, the cafe is quite small but they were even happy to welcome us with 2 suitcases.I ordered the full english and my partner ordered beans on toast which wasn't even on the menu. They were so accommodating, I even swapped items of my breakfast and they didn't mind.Food was with us within 10 minutes, 2 perfectly cooked eggs.. toast was just right not burnt and not undercooked. All food came out together. All this with 2 teas cost just over £12..Friendly staff, good food, good price.. next time I'm in London I will be visiting again!

Lembre-se, você está lidando com ingleses, ainda que o dono do local seja da Albânia se não estou enganado. Não tenho muita propriedade para dizer o nível dos preços, mas sei que o Full English com uma água com gás saiu por volta das 9 - 11 libras esterlinas. Comi o mesmo prato em outro local, e não tinha o mesmo sabor que o do Café Mignon.Local ideal para ir com calma, no café da manhã para sentar e comer de buenas seu Full English. Caso você esteja perto da região, vale a pena entrar para conferir.

We liked it here - yes it was crowded in a small space and yes the staff were rushed but that is because it was busy and popular with locals. We were on our way through Pimlico looking for somewhere to stop for lunch and other places were either the usual chains or didn't look appealing. When we saw this cosy and friendly looking place we knew it was just what we wanted. From a menu with various choices, most which we could see on display, I opted for a jacket potato with cheese and beans and my partner for hummus and falafel with pitta bread (and he was particularly pleased that the falafel and pitta were served warm!). What was specially good was the side salad that accompanied the dishes - not just the usual lettuce cucumber and tomatoes but plenty of additional items such as pickles, sweetcorn and roast veg. Oil and balsamic vinegar were automatically put on the table so we could dress our own salads. All this with two drinks for under £15. Not a gourmet restaurant but very good indeed for a quick breakfast, lunch or tea and cake.

As local in Pimlico this is probably the worst experience I've ever had at any cafe / restaurant the staff are down right rude and the owners are aggressive and ignorant the food is microwaved and unhealthy I would avoid this place at all costs as there are far better cafes in the area !!!!!

I had walked by in the evening and noticed that they had toast, coffee and fresh oj for 6.5 pounds which was the perfect option and surprising hard to find throughout my trip to the UK and Europe. Upon arrival the next morning the staff were not friendly or welcoming. OJ was lovely and fresh, coffee was okay, not very hot and had to ask for milk a few times. Toast arrived cold and took forever. It's a tiny cafe and they constantly bang into your chairs and table as though they'd rather you not be there. Personally I would go to a chain like Pret A Manger or Cafe Nero instead where I experience better quality and service.

Finir son sejour à Londres par un full englais y breakfast, C est le pied, tant au niveau qualité prix. Le Must une petite cour derriere qui vous fait oublié le bruit de la ville. Pour 7 livres 40, un vrai petit dej qui vous cale jusqu a 14h !!!À conseiller et proche de la gare

I was looking for a place to have a cup of tea and read my book and so I found this cafe. This place was just right for that. The cafe has not much room inside, but has a nice garden with 4 to 5 more tables when you go further in. The place has that cool modern vibe and I saw some easy going hipsters there. They also serve breakfast and many different cakes etc. The prices are not bad and the tea was ok. A nice place overall.Maybe the only thing from 5 stars was the hassle of the staff who could've slowed down for a second and take it more relaxed for the place having been so narrow.

Lo elegimos por estar muy cerca del hotel donde nos alojamos. Es pequeño pero tiene algunas mesitas en la vereda, otras dentro y hay también una especie de pequeño jardín (pequeñito) dentro. Las opciones son mayormente el gusto londinenese y se siente un intenso olor proveniente de la cocina... no feo pero molesto, por eso decidimos sentarnos en la vereda.

O melhor Full English que comi, atendimento maravilhoso e tudo muito gostoso. Demorou um pouco para chegar e foi um pouco caro. Deu 10 libras por pessoa para um café completo!
