Cafe Lush in Stockton-on-Tees

Came here on a weekday morning. Food was excellent and came out quickly. Service was great. Friendly, fast, not intrusive. Highly recommend!

I got the tuna melt on multi grain and found it to be quite tasty. They had several other options that I wouldn't mind trying on future visits

This place was absolutely amazing, we had a breakfast burrito and a parfait bowl, both were delicious. The drink in the photo was a soy chai and its a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The two ladies that assisted us were angels and made us feel at home. Definitely would recommend coming!

I absolutely love this little gem. It’s a great little spot for breakfast and they have outdoor seating which is so sweet in the middle of downtown Albuquerque. The women who run the Cafe are sweet and full of personality. Best breakfast burrito I’ve had in this town and if you want one to go, it’s well worth making the stop too.

We stopped here for breakfast after driving 12 hours, with 10 more to go. The server (I am mad I didn’t catch her name!) was amazing. Best service I have ever received, truly. Food was great and the vibes were cute too, even bright and early at 7 am. 10/10 recommend. I officially have Cafe Lush on my list of places to visit if I am ever back in Albuquerque.

The staff was super friendly and the menu offers quite a variety of stuff for anyone with particular dietary restrictions. Having said that, this was probably the best breakfast I've had in a long time! So delicious 😋 I will be going back soon. Thank you again to everyone involved

Super cute little place!! Great service, very friendly! I got the chopped salad and a vanilla latte and my coworker got the breakfast burrito. We both cleared our plates And decided this place will be a normal stop for our lunch meetings! Highly recommend!!!

Ok the food here is so so good, small and busy so get there early. The staff is also so nice and I got the feeling they really care about their customers. This is a must must try and a go back to!

Needed a gluten free lunch and this place was great. They prepare the gluten free food in a separate area with separate utensils. 365 bread by Whole Foods Market is what is used and it is great. The chips are gluten free as well.

Sometimes you get surprised by restaurants. This is one of those. Excellent food. Breakfast Burrito and French Toast were the best we've had in NM. Gluten Free options on anything. Bacon was delicious. Muffins. The coffee cake was a surprise and the ham and turkey combo in the Burrito was memorable. Have been back, will be back.

Amazing, Unbelievable Amy, Becca are lovely and the food 5 stars! I had a great experience. Cinnamon Raisin Sour Dough with strawberry Jelly, Green Chile Sausage with Spinach and tomato omelet was incredible Red and green Chile on the side accompanied with Hash browns, I cant wait to try the pancakes.

This is my every month restaurant because it is unique and cozy. I can spend an hour here eating very good food by Chef Tom and a very capable staff while i do my on line activities. This is as good as it gets and many locals here know it.

Rebecca was out main server and she was AMAZING, loved her. We had some of the best hot chocolate, but our breakfast was even better. I had the vegetable harsh and my husband had a burrito stuffed full. Everything tasted great and very fresh. The other lady was very friendly as well. I just loved everything about Cafe Lush!

Hands down the best breakfast 🥞 I've eaten in the USA. Super friendly staff and fresh food. We had some chilled samples (for free) and the coffee was great. Even my hard to please teenagers loved it.

2/8/24 Sat. Brunch, currently $16.25, drink included is a Bargain ! And, at 10:50 A M. I found close by free street parking. 11/19/24 I've always found free street parking M.- F. at breakfast time. 12/21/21 Due to Pandemic Restrictions, I had breakfast on the open air patio, with heaters. Enjoyed a Breakfast Scramble, choosing black beans, mushrooms, organic spinach. From the numerous bread choices I went with focaccia. There was no charge for red or green Chile. Co-owner Sandy was out front, while Tom was in the kitchen. Long time waitress Becca was there. The result was the usual Great food and Great Service ! ( I Appreciated eating from a reusable plate instead of disposable styrofoam.)

The St Gregory burger is my favorite comfort food in town. Get it with the unique, house made coleslaw. You won't regret it.

I had no idea how accommodating this place would be! They were fantastic people and the food was also delicious. I got a spicy chai with soy milk that was out of this world! We ordered omelettes and they were wonderful. The gluten free and dairy free alternatives were appreciated!

It's a typical cafe setup with out of this world food. Everything was delicious and fresh. It is definitely worth the visit if you are in Albuquerque

I am visiting Albuquerque and wanted to try this place out since everything on the menu can be made gluten free. I have really missed breakfast burritos and they had a delicious one I was able to customize. Also their green chile sauce is to die for! Loved the red sauce too. Their coffee is super yummy and not bitter at all. I also tried the hot chocolate and it was so delicious, not too sweet and beautifully presented. They also have tons of vegan and vegetarian options too. I highly recommend!

Before you go to this cafe or leave them a tip look how they treat their shopper, they want me to shop for them 43 items and deliver and they won’t even leave a 50 cents tip, the $8 you see is Instacart pay for the service

Ran in to get a take out bacon omelet. Staff was warm and friendly on this cool morning. Food prepared quickly too. I have to say it was one of the tastiest omelets ever! That *Lush Dust* flavored bacon (cocoa, cardamon, cinnamon, powdered sugar) is the bomb! I'll be back to try lunch one of these days. Thanks!

Small little breakfast joint with big flavors. We had 2 lattes and an americano to start. They were excellent. Breakfast burrito was delicious. Both the red and green chilis were perfect. Almost forgot to get a pic because we were starving.

I'm in Albuquerque for a few days and wanted somewhere for breakfast every day. I was wonderfully surprised to find Cafe Lush, with great food, wonderful friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend you choose Cafe Lush whether you are visiting Albuquerque or a local.

There are very few breakfast places in this area, let alone good ones. Creative choices, great service. We were very happy we found this place a couple weeks ago.

Great fresh food and the staff and owner very attentive. Quick service! The breakfast hash came with poached eggs, which were cooked to perfection. The French toast was light and fluffy. All ingredients were fresh and the salsa was so good!

We love this little place for lunch! The food is always fresh and tasty, and the service is awesome! They have some creative sandwich and salad offerings as well as breakfast options. Highly recommend stopping in for some tastiness on their patio.

Laid back, relaxed atmosphere (especially outside), friendly service and a solid breakfast. The only thing I was missing, were fresh juices. The lady said „We are more of a barista place“, but I think a small selection of fresh juices, would not damage your business model

This place is wonderful. The food is incredible and the service is the best in town. This place is first on my list for brunch. The coffee is excellent.

Stopped by for their vegan options. Basically anything on the menu can be made vegan (i.e., eggs sub with tofu/black beans, vegan cheese, etc.) I love having options like this so I can dine in with non-vegans and everyone’s happy! Staff were super sweet and our server was amazing. I don’t love the ambiance, but that’s subjective. The food itself wasn’t anything remarkable but it was good. I enjoyed the chile and their tofu!

My husband and I absolutely love this place. Wonderful healthy food, delicious local coffee... However, there is a waitress there with some sort of health condition. She is very nice but her hands are swollen with blisters and flaky scabs. She does not use gloves. Not only is it very concerning, but it is extremely unappetizing. Unfortunately, we have stopped going to our favorite spot because of this. I understand that there may be extenuating circumstances, but at the very least, she should be required to wear gloves because she touches plates with food, coffee cups and lids, utensils, and napkins. Hopefully, my review kindly encourages the owner to make a change to ensure customers enjoy a sanitary environment while enjoying good food.

Laid back atmosphere, friendly servers, and tasty food....not bad for a corner cafe! We would go again if back in Albuquerque.

When I was still taking classes at UNM in 2021 I would regularly go to Cafe Lush on my way to class. Once I graduated, I stopped going regularly, but I stopped by yesterday after a long time. It was nice to see how the food and the staff continue being amazing. Amy is always so so so so nice and I appreciate her exemplary customer service. I love this place so much! I always take friends when I can.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in, seats were available, and the servers were very friendly. The food came out fast and was plated attractively. I got the tofu scramble and then crispy bacon with an chai tea. I enjoyed the sourdough toast, but everything else was just mediocre and… there. I felt I could make it all at home and might like it a little more that way. Both my dining companion and I agreed the bacon had a coffee-like taste to it; it was an unusual flavor neither of us enjoyed. The service was great, and quick, but the food wasn’t anything to write home about and I don’t think I’d go back.

Not esthetically pleasing but ok food. The lush latte with some sweetner was good but the Dewy sandwich was ok, nothing special. Good, fast, friendly service.

Food was delightful. I had the Pappa Doc with Lush bacon and red chili aoli. A good spin on the BLT on a flatbread. It came with a slaw made with apples, grilled pineapple, cilantro, and a light dressing. The service was great and atmosphere was small and busy for lunch. You have to get there early to find a seat. They do have outdoor shaded seating too.

Excellent food and service! Outdoor seating is pleasant, on a quiet downtown street. Have really enjoyed grabbing breakfast here a couple times before heading into the office. Hoping to stop by and try everything on the menu. Also appreciate that you stick to your listed open hours, which is an issue experienced at other places. Very impressive, especially in these post-pandemic times where customer disservice seems to be the norm.

I thought it was a pleasant place, but then our waitress had some kind of skin disease. I completely lost my appetite after seeing all the open sores on her hands, arms, ankles, and feet. She should not be allowed to serve or be around food unless all these exposed sores are covered. Even then, I will never go back. Just thinking about it makes me nauseous.

Got a gluten free breakfast burrito and a regular breakfast burrito to go. The waitress was amazing and took a ton of care with my order, they made my order super quickly, and the food was great. The green and red chile were both flavorful, the green was somewhere between mild and medium, and the red was medium (and just the right amount of heat for me). My husband said the green chile turkey sausage in his was delicious. My burrito had a good balance of bacon, potatoes, and eggs. We got handheld burritos and the gluten free tortilla held up nicely. I'm excited to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Nice corner café near the convention centers. Food is delicious, but portions are on the small side. Service is a bit haphazard. The café is pretty small, but it's clean and there is some outdoor seating.

We visited from out of town, and someone suggested we get brunch here. We tried it the first morning and HAD to come back again the next. The service is so sweet, they had great suggestions. We each tried different meals and were all so happy with everything. The green chile turkey sausage is too good.

Lushaladas are my favorite. The yogurt parfait is good too!

Totally impressed, and that doesn't happen easily or often... The Turkey Sausage alone is worth 5 stars. This place passes 5 on this star scale. A small venue ~24 seats. Several 2 tops outside, too. Clean, tidy, well appointed. The door opens on the corner, bathroom is in the alley. Comfy chairs one wouldn't likely sweat in. Nicer place settings, plates, mugs, and flatware. We only sat for one meal, early in the day, only one person working the room, one in the kitchen... it went smoothly and fast. We had a Breakfast Plate, Breakfast scramble for me. Waitstaff powered through my decisions like a pro. Who'd have thought I'd have to mention eggs in an omelet? Eggs, Turkey Sausage, roasted red peppers, yes to green chili when offered, red sauce too, sourdough toast. The smallish pile on the plate did not fail to satisfy, and flavor-wise was fantastic!! The toast a tad crispy (IMHO perfection), vs. my wife's Cinnamon Raisin which was thick and a bit chewy (also perfection). I substituted the potatoes for fruit, they were impressive. Awards on the wall for gluten free options, for those that need that. Regrets we live in another state, or we'd be regulars here.

Were it not for the pilot episode of Better Call Saul (S1E1), I never would have known about Lush. But since I am a filming location enthusiast, I had to find what I saw in that fun scene. A quick look at their online menu meant that I wasn’t just going to stop by for some exterior photos. No, I was going in, and I have now been here four times. I give high praise to Lush for feeding everyone without judgment, meaning omnivore and plant-based alike can enjoy a great meal here. As per usual, I go with the Tofu Scramble sans eggs or dairy, admittedly a pretty basic dish, but one that Lush creates with panache. My friend ordered his usual Breakfast Plate, which includes two eggs, breakfast potatoes, and his choice of bacon. We were there on a Saturday morning, meaning the brunch menu was in place. Essentially, the plated items are the same, and one beverage is included in the price. Normally, Lush is filled on Saturday mornings, but the outdoor ABQ Market was going on nearby, and that’s where everyone was. Parking can be tough at times, but we lucked out with a spot directly behind the cafe (note that you enter this small lot by literally driving over the all-access ramped sidewalk). Lush continues to be one of my favorite ABQ breakfast haunts, and I will return.

Staff is super friendly and attentive. Portions are generous—both my partner and I had to take leftovers to go. Food was tasty. We both got scrambled eggs with different fillings. I’d probably order something different next time, but the dish was good for sure. Atmosphere is adorable and cozy.

Very cute café. Came here for breakfast while visiting town. Breakfast portions are generous and delicious. I had the eggs Benedict and was very happy with it. The location itself is cozy, so it's a little harder to seat bigger parties, but perfect for brunch with a friend or two.

The space is not large and gets some outside seating during warmer months, but the food is extraordinarily delicious! Brunch options are unique and very tasty. Meals come with a small muffin and fruit and are served hot and fresh. The waitstaff is fabulous. It is truly one of the gems for morning and early afternoon dining in downtown Albuquerque.
