Excellent fresh breakfast (whilst staying at Bell Inn) great selection of choices, very pleasant service and clean. Lovely fresh ingredients too

Another pop in for another bacon sandwich. Great polite service with a delicious sandwich with a decent amount of bacon in it

Came as a group of 6 for lunch. 5 of us ordered burgers all at the same time. 4 of the burgers came out, but there was a 15 minute delay before the last burger came out. At this point the rest of the group had already finished eating. When the last burger arrived, the 6th person in our group went and ordered a burger. 40 minutes later, still no sign of the food. When we went to the bar to ask where their food was, we were greeted with the bartender and waitress (who seemed very unhappy doing her job the entire time we were there) who were adamant that the 6th burger had been delivered. We were all trying to leave, but the bartender refused a refund at first, but after much fighting, he eventually gave us the refund for the 6th burger that never showed. There was at no point an apology, which seemed like they didn't care, and meant that the 6th person had to get lunch from a shop on the way back to work. Nice beer garden, and the food was okay, but overpriced for what it is. Save your money and get a better service and food at a chain restaurant such as a Greene King or the Treacle Mine.

Sunday Roast at the Royal Oak today was lovely as usual, service was brilliant.

Lovely local pub, great atmosphere, very busy when we went, due to the rugby, but didn't have to queue long to get served, will definitely come back
