Cafe Lido in Chichester

Ten of us turned up for dinner at cafe lido, splendid food lovely atmosphere lovely restaurant amazing staff especially Dylan

Absolute farce from walking in to leaving. drink spilt completely our fault staff member comes with blue roll wipes up a little says “oh is that ok ? “ absolutely not floor still soaking do you have a mop ? replies “yes but this is easier” left floor soaking and just plced a wet floor sign down. starters came stone cold nachos. 1 whole hour later after seeing many tables being served and asking numerous times where our food was it finally arrived. it didnt stop there when delivered food was thrown on table dropping chips ect no table manners of enjoy your food just walked off. food was bland and tastless masked with loads of salt, over £100 spent and throughout the whole experience it felt we were treated like paupers as we were not part of the caravan owners club. such a shame

Just wow! We have been owners here for 4 years. The breakfast has always been amazing, but lunch dinner been hit or miss. They now have a new menu and I'm guessing new staff. We had the seasoned rump steak wrap with chips and the rump steak. The steaks were cooked to perfection, juicy and very tasty. Highly recommend a visit for both breakfast and the main menu. Delicious! Thank you.

We went for dinner, it came to £50 for two meals and a salad. The meat was as tough as old boots, it tasted like it was left overs from lunch or they had recooked the meat. The salad was disgusting it was dry as anything also and the goats cheese was freezing cold which was not appetising at all and you could taste they hadn’t washed the lettuce. It was the most disgusting meal I’ve had being down here in Selsey for holiday, never again will I go there and I advise people not to go there for dinner.

half the people there were sending their meals back. meat was terrible, it seems like they just bought the cheapest food possible for maximum profit.

My family and I sat at the table and ordered our meals. I ordered cauliflower wings, seasoned, topped with chilli and pickles. When it arrived it was nothing as described. What I got was six very small deep fried lump that I couldn't even tell it was cauliflower. No pickles etc. When I asked where were pickles etc I was told it was a miss print. I asked to see the supervisor because no part of the meal even stated deep fried. ( I can't eat deep fried food) Supervisor came out and said pickles were just a garnish and it is what it is!. My granddaughter ordered a meal and it came with a total of six chips!!!. The meals are not cheap and supervisor rude!

Waited nearly an hour for food, and it was quiet. Children's food arrived on extremely hot plates. The Restaurant staff were, however, polite and seemed sympathetic. I blame the kitchen and lack of management. This is simple to rectify. They seemed overstaffed as plenty of people were behind the bar, yet there were queues.
