Visit on a Sunday with my wife and 2 grown up boys. Whilst waiting and waiting, I noticed the menu stated 500 ml’s fizzy drinks were £2. However in the fridge the soft drinks were all 330 ml’s. I told the lady who was serving and she went to the kitchen, came back with a cloth and scrubbed the 500 ml’s out to leave Fizzy Drinks £2. Absolutely outrageous. My son had a piri piri chicken wrap and threw it away as it was so bad. They forgot the chips and I had to remind them twice. A complete shambles. Food and service at Hainault is nicer, cheaper and better.

180 Hutton RoadMy wife and I often drink coffee in various Costas and enjoy them. We have decaf coffee and usually coconut milk latte. We went to the Costa in Shenfield and ordered the above. It was so weak it was like drinking hot milk. My wife complained and the server very kindly put an extra shot of coffee in each cup, but not much difference. £8 wasted.

199 Roman RoadFriendly local pub. Lovely food with lots of choice (portions too big for me) and pleasant staff. Will definitely be going back soon.
