I was overcharged 2 minor items. Most people, especially tourists, would not check their receipt. If you really want to go there I suggest you stay alert and verify what you are charged for.

We ate here several times when staying at the Waldorf Hilton. It was usually quiet and we had good service and good food. A bit pricey for what it was, but reliably decent.

As per the title. Downstairs, past a dirty kitchen sink and dishwasher is possibly the worst toilet facilities I’ve ever come across. We visited late morning, before the lunchtime rush. No excuses.

Conveniently located close to numerous shopping districts but out of the way enough that it maintains a relaxed atmosphere. Drinks come in generous servings for the price.

Small plates but tasty. Chai Latte was cold. I asked for the second one. It was slighly warmer. More expensive than average.

Cafe Fratelli is a great place to stop for lunch or snacks - they have a good selection of deli stuff. As a vegetarian I found a good enough selection. I stopped here between meetings, and the location is great and very central.

Food and drinks lovely. The staff friendly enough although would have been nice to see a smile though. One of us needed the toilet and to our dismay the cafe did not have one. They told us to go next door and use the Waldorf's toilets which felt a little awkward. Nice little place overall.

We fancied a good cup of coffee and a swift vegetarian lunch near the Wigmore Hall and we came across Café Fratelli Wigmore Street. We were very pleased with the Aubergine Lasagne and rice salads we had. The coffee of course was great and the tiramisu was gorgeous. We will watch out for Café Fratelli branches whenever we visit London again.

Looking for something to eat before seeing Mamma Mia, we popped in here as it is literally next door the Novello Theatre. We enjoyed our hot pastas and sat for some time enjoying the surroundings. Had an excellent coffee also.

Was looking for somewhere a little bit away from the madness of Oxford Street. Simply go up Duke street located on the right hand side of Selfridges to find this nice coffee shop. A great array of tasty sandwiches to toast. Also a few salads including a lovely Greek one. Staff were friendly and served the food and drinks to the tables. Nice and quiet!

Called here for a coffee and a cake. The place is tiny but they have maximised use of what floor space they have and there is seating for a dozen or so. Coffee was fine.

One of the best places in the area for coffee. The manager does his best to keep it running smoothly but is sometimes let down by the recent influx of Italian girls who are a little inexperienced

Popped in for a light lunch before going to matinee performance in the Aldwych. Ordered a flat white and a black coffee - 2 white coffees arrived. Later ordered another black coffee and a white. Standard sized white coffee came; black coffee was a large - no way was I going to fall asleep at the theatre that afternoon! Food was just what we needed - a lite bite. Didn't have to wait long for coffee or food. Plates cleared immediately we had taken the last bite so felt rushed.

This review is for their shop at 7-9 Aldwych, London WC2B 4LD.Popped in for a quick bite and drink as had just booked tickets for a musical and had just under an hour to grab something close to the theatre. We both opted for their 'speciality and most popular dish' Chicken Escalope, both of ours arrived and the outside bread was piping hot but, the middle of the chicken escalope was barely warm, sent both back and we're both put back in the panini machine and came back at exactly the same temperature!!Quickly ate these offerings and left keeping our fingers crossed for the remainder of the night that they wouldn't have any untoward affect on our stomach (which they didn't I hasten to add)Coffee was very good.

Had coffees and food at this caffe by chance as we were on our way back from the Wallace Collection. We have been travelling in the UK for 3 weeks now and have despaired that we won't ever find a really good coffee. Well we found them today. The coffees were excellent and to top it off the food (a sicilian calzone & a goat's cheese panini) was great too. The 3 young women staff members were efficient and friendly. We were very happy.

Good coffee and snacks but I think a manager is needed to organise the staff. They mean well but on-going training and supervision would make a good place great.

I go to the Wigmore street branch almost daily (I am a loyalty card carrier) for a decaf Cappuccino and I honestly believe their coffee to be the best served in London. The staff are mainly Italian and always happy and customer focussed. I have sat outside in the coldest and hottest of temperatures and a Barista brings my coffee to the table. They have all kinds of delicious sandwiches and pastries. It's a great place and the staff add to its value.

I visited the Cafe Fratelli on 10 Berkeley St, just near the Ritz and Green Park Station. It was a spur of the moment Coffee Fix as I passed the open door and smelled the coffee. The girlsbehind the counter were delightful, and very quick. I had a HUGE cappuccino, twice the size of other places in this expensive area. I sat on the sidewalk at a table and enjoyed the streetscene. I stay near this street while in London, and have added it to favorite destinations where you get value for your money.

Authentic Italian coffee and lovely little pastries. Prices very reasonable for central London and the quality better, in my opinion, than the big chains from across the Atlantic. Although I did not try them the lunch time sandwiches looked very good too.

Stopped by Aldwych store for a coffee after shopping some rare Italian ingredients from a trade show. We always loved the cafe and enjoyed our drinks. After arriving home, we realized that we forgot our shopping. It was already late so I could not he anyone. Next morning I phoned up and I was assured that our shopping was there. My partner was worried that such small shopping would have been gone by the time we manage to talk someone.Surprisingly (sorry if I'm mistaken) we were delighted to find our shopping. Very helpful staff!

Looking for somewhere for a light lunch we saw this cafe next the hotel we were staying in. Be warned it is very small and it is worth checking there are seats before ordering your food at the counter! Surrounded by mementoes or Ivor Novello the composser and Cardiffian whose flat was upstairs from where the cafe is now situated, we found a corner table. The Greek salad we shared was exceptional. Possibly the best I have ever eaten. The Salami and cheese toasted and deli sandwich was delicious. A great experience

Five of us called in while in London nearby for a business lunch. Very different as you have to do down into an underground area. The decor is modern but with an industrial/classic feel. I am not a fan of pizza but we all ordered pizza as recommended by one of our group and I am glad we did as it was very good - as far as pizza goes. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. Highly recommend for somewhere interesting and quirky. The only down side was it was a bit pricey but I suppose we were in London!

Walking I noticed this small pizzeria characterized by a wood oven. The furniture is typical of an Italian trattoria. The staff is friendly, rapid and attentive to the customer just as you expect in Italy. The pizza is exceptional. The dough is well leavened and, therefore, light. The condiments are of excellent quality. Cooking is perfect. Excellent beer and ice cream also fully satisfies the palate. The account is adequate.
