Cafe express deli in Liverpool

A sit down cafe with zero toilet facilities. What's the point if customers can sit down but can't wash there hands or use a toilet. Just be a takeaway service

Don't know why but it seems that multiple restaurants decide to cancle orders without refunds. I will put in a complaint if this happens again! I do believe it to be the same driver.

Had a lovely sandwich and a cup of tea here today, and it was delicious.

Lovely food and very reasonable priced. Had everything you would want. Nice staff.

Food very tasty, milky coffee bit cool, I like it hot 👍 a more recent visit not good ! Despite being 1st in queue waitress served other customer before me, he waiting to pay as I gave my order. Food tasty enough but missing a sausage, which was delivered 3 mins later also fried bread missing but I was too hungry to complain, would I visit again probably not, things to expensive these days to be messed around like this, brekky £8.75 was it worth it, no, not this time 🤔

Food was hot and cooked properly. Had Coffee it was made well. Items camee quickly.

Standard cafe, nothing to write home about. Wouldn't go back if I'm honest.

When I pay £3 for a coffee I would generally expect an espresso rather than kenco instant that hasn't even been mixed with the water properly, leaving clumps.

Honest to god the best breakfast I’ve ever had , we ordered a hangover breakfast and I have never in my life finished a brekky when hungover but I demolished this one there wasn’t a thing left on the plate. The girls where busy as and I was being a pain phoning them but she was lovely as 👍 honestly it doesn’t matter if your hungover or just feeling a brekky get on this cafe for it cos there brekkys are fit as , nice one girls 👍👍

A great cafe, be patient, great food takes time and is worth the wait, I ordered a mega breakfast it's big, better to ask for exactly what you want, don't be shy just make up your order and go with it, no prices on the menu as most do as above

So I got the sausage, scrambled eggs and fried bread! Eggs cooked to perfection and the sausages where probably the nicest I've ever had! It was all very delicious 😋 Thank you café Express x

ordered food took 2 hours to arrive , food was cold when it arrived , rang to be told order left the shop at 13.25 it arrived at 14.10. No apologies from the staff .Had to put it all in the bin as it was inedible . honest timings would be better

Got a breakfast and they didn't even give me a cuppa with it and I had to ask for it on the way out and the girl was in a bad mood ,won't be going again

My last review was 2 years ago after a few weeks visiting this cafe. I can now give a more comprehensive review. I have just had the most delicious meal, served by the friendliest staff on the planet- club sandwich cooked to perfection and salt and pepper chips with a fresh side salad. This is my favourite, along with the steak, onion and mushroom baguette. The meals have been consistently well cooked and presented, and the prices incredibly reasonable. Staff have done an incredible job during this pandemic. I don't know how they do it. Highly recommended. Update: Owing to illness have not been a regular customer recently. Went in today. Nothing has changed - as excellent as ever. Club sandwich bursting with delicious ingredients- the chicken suculent . The breakfast breakfast is consistently excellent. And the salad fresh. Give it a go!!

Never ordering here again every single time they either don't give you the drink you ordered or any extra you add to your meal never gets added. Then an order placed waited 1 and half hour rang them and they said oh we never put order through absolute joke cafe .

Girls are friendly enough the foods always spot on, if your in the area I would recommend. 😀

Best cafe I've been to across Liverpool. Quality food, tasty, hot and not overpriced.

Ordered food waited over an hour, spoke to a woman on the phone said it was on its way. No food has been delivered after they confirmed it on the phone with us. Won’t be ordering again

Ordered my food an hour and a half later with another 2 phone calls the food came freezing cold and all over the bottom of the bag 12.00 down and still starving won't be ordering again the lady said she could refund it but not make another order as they were closing so we had to eat freezing cold food out the bottom of a bag the drivers attitude was disgusting seems like she just didn't care at all won't be ordering again don't waste your time or yeah money

Ordered my food 1 hour and half later with another 2 phone calls the food arrived freezing cold and all over the bag there was nothing in the containers it was in the bottom of the bag the driver was rude with a bad attitude phoned the shop back the lady apologies said they could refund it but they couldn't make another order as everything was turned off so had to eat freeing cold food out the bottom of a bag won't be ordering again definitely dont waste your time and money 12.00 later still starving

We have supported this business throughout Lockdown and are regular customers. We ordered again today. After a 2 hour wait the food arrived. Not only was my food stone cold, it was the wrong order. I phoned them and with no apology was hit with a list of their woes and problems. What I found disturbing was when I heard them ask where the delivery driver had gone next! We're they going to riffle through the food and bring it to me, not very hygienic especially with Covid. I requested s full refund and was told you may not like the sandwich you have. I pointed out not only was it wrong it was disgusting and was only fit for the bin. She stated there had been an incident on the high street and the deliveries couldn't go out. Surely that gave more time to double check them. That she would get the order to me as I explained I am working from home and am going into a Zoom meeting so it's no good now. After so many people in this industry closing and loosing their jobs l'm disgusted the main complaint is we are "really, really busy." Well let me help you with that we won't be back.

Ordered through Uber Eats two breakfast wraps which were absolutely superb. Hot, tasty and packed with good quality produce. Will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommended.

From placing the order at 9:17am it arrived at 11am.

Muy grosero por teléfono, los propietarios me hicieron esperar afuera en el frío y la lluvia torrencial durante media hora porque no podían molestarse en permanecer bajo la lluviaSe olvidaron de muchos de mis artículos que pedí y cuando intenté llamarlos al respecto no respondieron, por lo que me deben dinero.La comida era absolutamente horrible, me dieron un desayuno mega xl que fue abofeteado y metido en una pequeña caja que hizo que toda la comida y el pan se pusieran extremadamente empapados y fue muy desagradable comerlos en general.Si fuera usted, evitaría este lugar, ya que está claramente dirigido por personas repugnantes a las que no les importa en absoluto tratar a sus clientes de manera justa

Very poor service.. ordered a couple of baps and egg and asked to change to a large breakfast.. both the black pudding and hash brown was missing from the order, and wasn't offered the difference of money back even though it was cheaper.. plus with the missing items would have caused it to be around £2 cheaper. Found bits of small hair in the coffee and cup was dirty. Also my friend had ordered a cold sandwich which included a side salad, and was spoke to with a terrible attitude when she asked the woman politely where the salad was. Overall attitude was terrible, and was made to feel awkward and bad for asking to change the order. I myself suffer from social anxiety, and people like this do not make it much worse. Yes the place was busy with just eat orders, but it still doesn't excuse that type of behaviour or attitude (manners cost nothing).

I will never ever ever order my food at your place again. Disgusting and late.

Had a perfectly cooked jacket potato, with Cajun chicken and very fresh salad. Delivered to my door. What more could I ask?
