We meet at Paula's weekly for coffee and lunch. Warm friendly atmosphere, food prepared with love, no request is too big, we absolutely love this place. Paula has become family and is always happy and welcoming. Helen x

Really tasty portuguese food, it really feels like your in the north of Portugal with your traditional fransazinha! But also, Paula has been making these really nice takeaway meals which is so ideal for when your on a run for work. I’ve been taking them daily because they are so heathy and tasty and will fill me up until dinner time.

Personal amable y acogedor, nada es demasiado problema. Buena comida y bebida en cualquier momento del día. Las familias son bienvenidas.

Small and good coffee, poorly portugues tastless food as usual , very rude staff.. as usual too... expensive... just worth the coffee...

My favourite is "Bitoque" thin slices of steak with salad and fries, but the "Prego" is something to die for, Portuguese bread with a slice of steak with that particular taste of the Portuguese cuisine, all accompanied by a Maracuja drink (passion fruit) is second to none.

Always the best breakfast.. eaten here so many times ... cant fault it. Friendly staff . Always full with a variety of people. Get yourselves along there and enjoy the food.

Never bothered to have anything fancy, but the coffee is great, the service very friendly. Unfortunately I haven't been for some time because of poor health. Make sure you don't miss the roasted chestnuts.

Been going here for years for coffee and snacks plus steak and chips. Well actually it's called "Bitoke" and is slices of steak with fried eggs, chips and salad plus buttered roll if you want. Just brilliant.

I visited few times and have loved the place however my grandad is a frequent visitor and is a big fan. The staff are always so friendly, it's got a great atmosphere and great bits to eat! Thank you for looking after my grandad so well when he pops in!

Been visiting Café Estrela regularly for years. Don't worry if you're not Portuguese.... they do everything an English café does too with continental flair. Love the place to bits.

Had another fabulous evening in this little Portuguese cafe, with fabulous food, lovely Portuguese beer and all hosted by the nicest restaurant owner I think I have ever met. Please try this place it is exceptional.

A fantastic little Portuguese cafe in Hayes that never fails to impress. Superb food and lovely decor just make the whole dining experience a joy. You would never believe that you are still in Hayes, it is so easy once inside to imagine that you are in Portugal enjoying a relaxing evening with a fabulous hostess.
