Update your opening times! Travelled over two hours to get here and totally ruined our night. Ridiculous.

Said they'd be open until 1am, got here way before midnight and closed, made a special effort to get here in the rain after a long day and completely ruined us. Update your opening times

Lovely food very good value and friendly people

It's not called vila cafe anymore. It's now called rossio. Nice place nice food and friendly staff.

The owner doesn't speak English, luckily an English menu is provided. The food is a great surprise, all dishes we have are delicious. The pripri shrimp and grilled sea bass are a must try. The price is a good deal, given the portion.

I regularly visit this Cafe for a coffee with a friend. The service is excellent and they serve delicious speciality coffees and tea at a very reasonable cost.

For plentiful robust country style - obvs Portuguese cooking you can't go wrong. I had Somar- the fish kebab which was great - juicy octopus with prawn and salmon. Partner had the portuguese sandwich which was very filling and in itself had lots inside - maybe too much for some but all the menu details are well documented so read well. This is a lovely friendly local cafe / retaurant which deserves to do well.

Horrible experience in there, waited an hour for my food then when it came my food had mould on it, I told the chef which turnt into a disagreement even though I had proof that the food had fluffy mould on it, was very disappointed with the service and the food I will definitely not be recommending this cafe to anyone
