Cafe De Rumpy in Dartford

Regularly visit Rumpys after our Sons football games on a Sunday. Has become a tradition. In 5 or so years, never had a bad bit of food and the service is amazing. Fantastic with the kids and our oldies. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else when near town. Thanks for the brilliant service Rumpy family!

Had breakfast on Saturday morning and the place was full, a clear indicator of the high standard of the food. I had option 3 (egg, 2 bacon, sausage, beans and mushrooms. Helpful waitress was happy to oblige me with swaps (poached not fried egg and brown unbuttered toast) The food was reasonably priced, served quickly, piping hot and absolutely scrummy. This place is well worth venturing out of Dartford to visit. I’ve had the lunch options before too (chicken shish with rice) and that was also lovely.

We love this place! Food is fast, hot and delicious. Always fresh and good quality. Coffee nice too and that's coming from someone who's fussy about coffee!!

It started well, with an impressive food hygiene ‘Score on the door’ of five. Then it got even better: an extensive menu of reasonably-priced meals; friendly staff and impeccably clean premises. Our food arrived promptly and was substantial and very tasty. For a really good, straightforward café, look no further.

I visit this cafe regularly on a Sunday with partner and his brother. Service is fast and friendly, High quality food staff will accommodate any requests great value. The premises are clean and has a good atmosphere, always service with a smile. Would highly recommend.

Just to repeat the previous others reviews. Airy clean busy place for Breakfast. Service prompt, menu is what you would expect for English breakfast but the bonus is that they use decent ingredients. Well presented and good value. What more can you say.

Me and some work colleagues have visited this café on a number of occasions and every time we have been amazed by the quality of food. The service is okay, not the chattiest staff but that is outweighed by the quality of the food and atmosphere in the café.

Absolutely loved the breakfast here! Always drive past but had never been in. A chance visit as our usual cafe was closed so we tried here before we went to the local spa and I am so glad it was! I will be making this my regular now!

We visited for breakfast this morning. Had a great meal. Bacon was really crispy, eggs cooked well. My partner had liver, bacon, onions, chips, peas & gravy. He said his was really tasty too! Latte was really good! Great value! Lovely waitress! Would definitely recommend!

Really nice interior, comfortable chairs and nice tables with plenty of room. Delicious food at excellent prices Generous portions Friendly staff The only thing I could fault is that if it's quiet the cafe shuts earlier than time stated and no parking facilities. Overall great food, great price, polite staff whom allow you time to choose off menu. One of the only places where you are not rushed to make an order and not interrupted during a meal. Fantastic!
