Visited here on the recommendation of a family member who has visited twice and enjoyed their visit. It’s in a great building which has been restored and modernised as an art venue. I was meeting with a friend so we’d specifically decided we’d visit the cafe at Inverness Creative Academy. We hadn’t decided wether for lunch or a snack, or just a coffee before hand! On entering the place was empty apart from three people sitting at a table. 1st time visiting. From what was on the boards behind the counter and the cakes we could visibly see it wasn’t clear the full menu available. Luckily my companion asked ‘do you not do any sandwiches or anything’ and the people sat on the only table occupied responded ‘yes the menus are on the tables’!! It turned out they were the staff!! It’s disappointing that customer service wasn’t better when we arrived! As after we’d realised what we could order etc, everything was great!! Sandwiches and coffee were great, and being a hot day the guy serving asked if we’d like anything else or some water. I will definitely go back, but for a new customer in, a new location. A bit of a welcome to customers and an explanation of what you do/offer would be helpful.

My wife and I have eaten here most weeks and have enjoyed all the food and drinks servered by the very pleasent and attentive staff. Can be a little cold if the inside doors are left open

Called in for coffee. Didn't particularly enjoy it, very bitter, and paid a little more than usually do locally. The room is a bit echo-ey but that's the nature of the building, a converted area inside the old Inverness Royal Academy. Small selection of cakes looked nice, though never had one. Probably worth a visit to seethe place, but not sure will be back.

They let us get a room at almost 8 pm after our hike went sideways. Room was clean, hot showers, great food.

The Skye Bridge Hotel is a warm hotel strategically placed between the Highlands and the Isle of Skye, so it's perfect for people who, like me, want to see as much of the area as possible. The staff is welcoming and warm, and the bar downstairs is very lively, and the locals are quite open to sharing a beer with a stranger! But be assured that even at the most active hours of the bar, not a sound reached the rooms, which are comfortable, and have a lot of natural light. Mine in particular had a nice view of the town and the mountains surrounding Loch Alsh. This place is just straight up very good, and I definitely recommend it.
