It was okay before, the food and service were pretty good, so why did it close down?

Food very reasonably priced but bland; drinks slightly better. The service on my visit was immensely clumsy - the waiter at one point managed to reach across to the other side of our table and knock off my phone, breaking it. I quietly deducted the discretionary service charge from the bill and planned to make no more of it, but was then informed by a waitress that failure to pay the service charge would result in my being banned in the future. So bizarrely discourteous was her behaviour that I accepted the deal, and consequently will not be returning. An example of an otherwise serviceable cheap café/restaurant being rendered a waste of time by rude and actively incompetent staff.

This restaurant is very similar to the Hong Kong "cha can tang" style of food. With a huge selection of food, ranging from street style noodles to duck rice, it is a great place to stop off for a quick meal before being on your way. Their mango pudding is very refreshing during summer. #AllAmerican

If you really miss Hong Kong-style "cha can tang" food, Cafe de Hong Kong has the widest selection in London. I always go for the street noodles with different toppings each time (have some vegetables, luncheon meat and egg!) and the French toast. The latter is true Hong Kong-style delight, with a soft inside and incredibly crisp outside. The Hong Kong-style milk tea is not "loong" (strong) enough, but it's sufficient to keep my pangs of longing at bay.

Excellent selection of Hong Kong staples and fairly cheap (around £6 for mains) but don't expect too much from the lukewarm food and the even colder, slow service.

Some dishes were tepid when served and really bad value for money, some cheaper dishes weren't on the menu, but we had to ask to find out. The staff's attitude was forgetful, rude, reluctant and usually dismissive. Poor form. This place used to be good, but there are far better alternatives.

I only tried Bubble tea drinks. I ordered a Passion fruit and was disappointmented as it was actually a mix of watermelon, pineapple and some other fruit.

Has become really poor since the beginning of summer. Car park just isn’t fit for purpose and is chaotic at all times of day, as it is mostly taken up by drive thru customers waiting for their food. I

We had breakfast here and enjoyed the toasties and hot drinks. Bit pricey but staff very pleasant and nice comfy seats.
