Sadly the food was a massive disappointment., although the coffee was nice. Poor quality ingredients, cooked badly. Poached eggs on toast~toast thin cheap loaf, dry with no butter, 2 poached eggs scooped out of a round cup and cooked solid. Tasteless dish which I could not eat.

We stopped here on the way to a funeral while we had some time to spare. Lovely little cafe with lovely and friendly staff. The hot chocolate was fab. We also had bacon and sausage rolls and were cooked perfectly and very tasty. If we're back down this way from Oban again we will definitely come back.

I used to really enjoy coming to the cafe for my lunch with friends and family. There was one particular young waitress that was absolutely fantastic and so friendly and smiley, and made our visit that little bit more special. Went back hoping she’d be there and we were served by an extremely rude girl who was so terrible I thought I’d never be back. Took another chance hoping for that once before excellent experience but the food was terrible and just not as good as it once was. Very disappointed! I will not be back and will try other cafes in Bearsden.

Situated in the heart of Bearsden, Cafe Creme offers a very special and personal service to it's regulars. If you want somewhere that serves lovely coffee and food, has a unique ambience and where you are not just a customer, but someone who they value and want to get to know, this is the place to go. On my dad's first visit after being seriously ill in hospital the staff welcomed him back as an old friend about whose absence they had been concerned. They spoke to him and made him laugh, they knew what order he wanted and they offered to continue to support him in his own home, should it be necessary, by delivering food or coffees. Without prompting, they offered to keep an eye on him whenever he came in to ensure he is safe and well. To me, this is the epitome of an excellent community coffee shop and somewhere I would highly recommend. Thank you on behalf of Mr Latte's children and grandchildren!

I have already given Cafe Creme a good review a couple of years ago but really felt I had to do so again as Kenneth D clearly did not enjoy his visit. Well all I can say is I enjoy my afternoon tea here with my friends. Lovely cafe, neat and tidy with the added charm of tea served in vintage china cups and saucers. Indeed they don't match and we like that. Also the sugar is served in little sachets (just like Waitrose). This is health and safety no doubt. Most establishments do this nowadays. The home baking is lovely. It's not Greggs. I like Greggs too but would much rather spend time in this well loved cafe with my friends. Looking forward to many more afternoons in Cafe Creme. P.s really like the Christmas decorations. Merry Christmas!

Popped in here for a quick lunch we had the soup of the day which was tasty and sandwiches. The sandwiches come in a choice of breads and fillings. The filling was plentiful and the salad was fresh. Lovely empire biscuits for afters. The staff were friendly and it was very busy. Reasonably priced too, decent for a lunch snack

Usually take the little one in here for a cheese sandwich and some apple juice. Not the kind of place generally I'd suggest young families to go - clientele is mainly elderly folk having a coffee and a cake - but they always make us feel welcome. Nothing too much bother for the staff. Decent wee place but the friendly staff make it worth a visit.

I was gobsmacked to read the negative review below. Doesn't sound like the place i know. We've been going here for years and years. Place is a bit dated sure, call it shabby chic if you like. Staff are charming, food is good basic grub, square sausage, bacon rolls, haggis. What's not to like? With so many coffee shops around Bearsden and Milngavie competition is ferocious, so to see this place still going strong tells me they are doing something right. Here's to the next 30 years!!

Went today with my wife for breakfast. Wanted somewhere stylish, Good food , to have a good time for the end of our wee trip to drymen. This was the worst place we went on our trip. I was taken in by there website. Bearsden is a lovely place so was looking forward to my breakfast . Outside it needs painted I know it's been opened more than 30 years but it looks it from the outside . Worst looking shop in street did think about walking away but I thought I,d go for it. The staff young mostly nice , but tables got scratches on them , Menus dirty , ordered scrambled egg on toast and two sausage and wife ordered a roll on sausage plus tea for two. Two differant size of cups and saucers came , four butter portions came , tomato sauce sachets and brown sauce sachets , sugar sachets , napkins , no saving the planet going on in this place . Food came only got one square sausage asked about other one she said she go and ask still waiting. Sausage were of the cheap variety no taste over cooked , the eggs were not free range and the bread as this is supposed to be a bakery you would think homemade bread but no cheap thin white bread. I reckon it's trying to compete with greggs but why I don't know . This place should not be in bearsden it should be in a snack an quick bite to eat no frills range. This is the farmfoods cafe of bearsden nowhere near the waitrose I was hoping for.

A nice place for an evening meal. There was four in our party and we were seated promptly and served drinks quickly. A short review of a wonderfully limited but connected menu and we all picked the same dish with variations. The haggis bons bons were the bomb! As was the tempura prawn.
