Cafe clo in Leicester

¡Evita como la peste! Terrible servicio y comida - el lugar estaba vacío y colocado al lado de donde los cubiertos estaban siendo ruidosamente ordenados - tuve que pedir mi bebida mientras esperaba. Encontré un pelo en mi comida y luego el camarero dejó caer la comida mientras trataba de recogerla. Tuve que pedir que le quitaran el cargo por servicio. La gente vino tras nosotros y se les sirvió su comida antes que nosotros. Si caminas otros dos minutos, tendrás una mayor variedad de restaurantes donde el personal realmente quiere servirte.

El personal era horrible Trajeron a los principiantes y a la red eléctrica juntos y se quejaron de que deberíamos haberles aconsejado que sacaran los platos en orden, es decir, de inicio, completos y luego plato principal... los 4 camareros luego se pararon en la barra discutiendo nuestra mesa Polar opuesto a las últimas 5 / 6 visitas, donde el servicio se puso en marcha con una sonrisa Una vez dicho esto atrás de casa produjo alimentos de una calidad excepcional, gracias

Una vez más tenía huevos Benedict y los huevos en sí eran perfectos. Absolutamente increíble. Creo que las gallinas que las ponen deben ser las más felices del planeta 😁 Tuve el mismo plato en el Wolseley recientemente y los huevos no eran un parche en estos.

Quite expensive and adds a service charge. Good food though and lovely staff. Heavy on the seafood dishes and not a great amount of choice.

Ate at the whiskey themed “Burns Night “ Round the Table evening last night and had a great time. Beautifully crafted cocktails matched with delicious food. Coupled with excellent service, as always. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal here and it’s fast becoming one of my favourite places to eat in Leicester.

Great food poor service! The cafe is very small but cute and nicely done out. It’s in the middle of a store. Took ages to be served even though it was quiet. Ages for our food order. Ages for food. Food arrived but they forgot the starters and said they forgot to put it as starters and mains and not all together! So ended up eating mains and starters together which wasn’t great. Took ages to get our bill. And then charged us a fiver in service charge! I really regret paying it and should have asked for it to be removed. It wasn’t deserved. Great food but shocking service. If you aren’t bothered about service go and enjoy the food. Burger was great as was the calamari and popcorn shrimp.

This is my third visit and yet again the food was excellent. It was a weekday lunchtime and very busy yet the service was nice, excellent eggs Benedict and a very good cappuccino.

We are regulars at cafe clo and we LOVE IT, Elis is always amazing which is one of the reasons we return so regularly!!! The cocktails are UNREAL xxx

An hidden gem inside the Flannels store. Classy and contemporary, serving a small menu of delicious world food. My husband and I tried this lovely cafe bar for our anniversary lunch. My husband had d delicious cheese burger with a side of aioli fries. I ordered a mixture of small plates, which were really good portion sizes. The calamari was cooked perfectly, the Taiwanese chicken very flavor some, and the halloumi fries gorgeous. I also had a pornstar martini which was delicious and well executed. It was a pricey lunch, and we were glad of the 20% off voucher we had, however, we both agreed it was well worth it for a nice treat as the food and ambiance really good. So much so, I’m taking my friend next week! Overall, would recommend
