Welcomed, seated, ordered drinks. Busy. Music far too loud. Food ordered, ten minute wait. Delicious. One grumble - portion size - immense. Wish there was an option for a more moderate size - same price, just less waste. Friendly helpful staff.

Blown away by this fabulous find of a restaurant when I eat italian it has to be independent authentic restaurant for me, this is what we got! Welcomed in by Ellie we were early so took drinks Alfesco as the sun was in our favour. This quaint Italian restaurant has a feel of a family run business and service reflects this, its personable staff are happy to be at work and nothing is too much trouble, food outstanding 😀 Pizza bases fresh best Ive had this year, portions are ample and Menu has plenty to chooose from, really satisfied with our choices. Now my only issue which is minor lets find a better vessel for parmasan, that literally is it, from a catering background so I get that this is miniscule. You have a fine restaurant, great staff and food is exceptional and tasty all fresh, thankyou. Ellie, Good luck in Manchester, super young lady.

We visited the restaurant on Saturday evening (4 of us) we couldn’t fault the food or service but our visit was spoilt by the very very loud music which completely ruined the atmosphere. We couldn’t wait to finish our meal and leave, we have eaten several times here however, sadly won’t be returning anytime soon.

This restaurant was recommended to me and I made a special visit as a result. I was not disappointed! The service at lunchtime was swift, friendly, and clearly my meal had been freshly cooked. The bolognaise sauce was one of the best I have had in a long time. Elli served me throughout my visit, and was a pleasure to chat to and be looked after by her professional and friendly level of service. Next time it’s a pizza that I’ll try as they looked sensational.

My granddaughter and boyfriend went in today, there’s a sign up saying student offer pizza or pasta with soft drink £6.99 . No terms and conditions , nothing so in they went , ordered a penne arrabiata and soft drink. They went to pay showed student card and were refused the discount because they didn’t say they were students before they ordered. They had their student cards round their necks on show but regardless of that there was nowhere saying they had to state they were students before ordering , so the bill was charged at full price . The restaurant would not charge the student rate and my granddaughter is too reserved to insist. Such a shame as they had dined in their many times and myself too. Sadly we will not be going back and will find somewhere else who actually offers what they advertise .

We visited on a Saturday evening after telephoning to book a table during the week. As always it looked fully booked, so it was quite loud but didnt spoil our enjoyment. Service was fast and friendly, we could see thorough cleaning of tables between guests, and nice atmosphere. We just had main courses and opted for penne supremo which was served piping hot and very tasty. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Called in without booking for a late lunch and the Calzone was superb. Very busy and a short wait but well worth it. Very attentive service too.

So visiting an Italian you'd expect nice simple stonebaked pizzas right? Nope. The pizza isn't proper pizza, it's very much like frozen pizza (if not actual reheated pizza). I wouldn't expect this at an Italian. The 'folded pizza' (not calzone) is just one of the pizzas ....folded a bit. It was tasteless and dry (although they do serve with tomato sauce) The pasta dish was, despite looking nice and with fresh ingredients, also tasteless, I had to stop my partner from sending it back.

From moment we arrived made to feel welcome and more importantly in these times Covid safe. Excellent service and excellent food

Just wasn’t the best experience for us unfortunately! We just felt that the food was quite average and didn’t think the staff were all that attentive to us that evening. There’s a lot of more positive reviews so we will likely try again to see if it was just a one off!

Booked a table for 6pm. Arrived & seated without waiting. Lovely warm welcome (as always) as we were shown to our table. Protective glass screens between tables/guests which were non intrusive. Full menu available plus daily specials. £7.50 offer for pizza & pasta on Thurs still active. Ordered starter each, mains, side salad, half carafe of house white (not as chilled as I like it but it was a very hot evening to be fair) big portions, very friendly staff & nice atmosphere. Seemed brighter in there than unusual but it was nice as it was early evening. Really really great value for money, it’s portions & excellent service! Staff work hard to make your visit safe & enjoyable! Had a little chat with the waitress before we left which was a lovely personal touch. Will be returning. Highly recommended.

It's been way too long that we'd ventured into Warrington and we made a point of stopping by Caffe Caruso ! I like the great service and the hospitality of this little gem in Warrington. We tend to eat the usual lasagne and Mediterranean salads. Everything is well organised and the staff is inviting !! All prices are very reasonable and I know it isn't easy to get a table straight away but be patient it's worth it!!

Went for lunch with friends. Very busy even mid week so suggest booking. Food is yummy, so tasty and fresh and as good as you get in Italy. Good portions, great prices. What's not to like?

We have had lunch at Cafe Caruso many times and just love the food and friendly atmosphere we are back there tomorrow for our girly lunch and hopefully many more times in the future. Had a quick supper here with friends on a Friday night before a night out. Nice standard Italian fare, simple menu of pizza, pasta and Italian mains. Food was good and excellent value but what I really liked was the service was fast, friendly and accurate in a relaxed unpretentious atmosphere (no faux check table clothes or enormous pepper mills) just some attentive young servers and good food (oh and wine)

I can’t recommend Caffe Caruso enough. It’s a very small place and quite cosy and can be loud at times due to it being so popular - but the food is amazing. We usually go for Italian food at places like Piccolinos, which is nice but expensive. Caffe Caruso beats all other Italian places I’ve tried, easy. Plus, it’s far more affordable.The food was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. You also get great portion sizes. It doesn’t look like there are many vegetarian options on the menu but almost anything can be made vegetarian, just ask the waiter. The people that work there are lovely as well. So so helpful. I’m a vegetarian and the waiter suggested ways to make my vegetarian meal more exciting so that I got the most out of my meal there, and then the chefs made exactly what we decided on. Really fantastic place.

Ordered the duck, ordered chips rather than potato's, I could have eaten it in one mouthful it was so small,it was lost on the plate, alone with no vegetables whatsoever and a small bowl of chips. Hubby ordered vegetable Lasagne, without veg in it!!Didnt complain at the time as I was starving and it was busy, but its not ideal to pay £40 for a meal and come out hungry.I emailed and got no reply, which I think.is very rude.Won't be going back.

Another excellent meal at this vibrant, bustling eatery. Upon every visit the atmosphere has been informal and energetic, with a good bar/drinks menu with Italian music setting the scene. And of course, the food, which was delicious and well-priced. Massive credit to servers Josh and Becky who were friendly, funny and attentive without ever being intrusive. Another excellent visit with the added bonus of Thursday night special prices on all pizza and pasta. We included soup, melon and prawn and goats cheese starters, Calzone Allegro, Carreta Picante and Pizza Quattro but portions are such we couldn’t test the dessert menu! Great art and typical friendly service.

Me and a friend were travelling up from the south to attend a car show and stayed at a local hotel. We both wanted a decent dinner in Warrington and took a chance on Caffe Caruso.

I visited a lot of reauaurants and to be completely honest, it has to be one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to! I eat at a lot of places but the way the food was created by the chefs was absolutely perfection. The atmosphere was very Italian unlike many Italian places and it was absopourly perfect. Not too expensive as well... will be returning within weeks

A wonderful evening celebrating our daughters 21st birthday. The food was beautiful despite how busy it was. We chose this italian as it is our daughters favourite restaurant. The food was beautiful. The atmosphere was great, They all sang happy birthday. Thank you.

Once again back at Christmas to my Hometown. Invariably always call in for a meal at this place. Caffe Caruso not a huge Italian eatery - but always it has an immediate Buzz when you walk in the place, it has a great atmosphere.

Good vegetarian options and super cheap. Really has a authentic Italian feel to it. Love coming here

Meal was lovely but the banoffee pie was like a soggy biscuit covered with a thin layer of banana flavoured sauce, and a squiggle of cream on one edge of it, very disappointed ,

Pizza was absolutely horrendous. The pizza base is like eating a piadina (or a tortilla) with tomato, and cheese. The pizza base was a huge let down, as I would rather have gone to Pizza Hut or Dominos. Very poor and not authentic at all.

Very reasonable prices and a very good steak. Couldn’t give a higher score due to the fact that I had to send the chips back and that the tables were very squashed together.

Saturday night large party lots of fun . Music plays and everyone sings Amore or Happy birthday. The service is excellent and the food is very good too. Had a veal special in a delicious sauce with large salad and chips which didn’t really need. Drinks were reasonable. Litre of house red Monte del Abruzzo decent wine. Recommend this for parties.

Visited early one Saturday evening with the wife, hadn’t booked but they managed to find us a table as it was early.

The food is always amazing. Alfio and Marco are very welcoming and the staff are always rushing to serve and help you. The specials board is always tasty and the coffee is divine. Never a bad meal and never a bad experience. I 100% recommend this place to eat in day ur try it in the evening.

Our first visit since moving from old site. It was very busy when we arrived and stood for quite a while waiting to be seated, could possibly do with a dedicated maitre d working the door and front of house. Other than that everything else was spot on, waitress came and took drinks and food order quickly, starters arrived quickly and were very generous portions, hubby had pasta I had pizza which on a Thursday (the day we went) is on offer; we both had the tiramisu which wasn’t huge but very tasty. All in all a very enjoyable meal. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts, 2 coffees, a G&T; and a pint of beer £41 good food for a fair price. Staff were very friendly, the restaurant was a little noisy not ideal if your wanting a nice quiet romantic meal other than that 10/10.

Caffe Caruso Italian the name and location are good shame about the quality of the food. The new additions to the menu failed badly to inspire our taste buds. Lacking in flavor and presentation, main course was served cold. And then finally this overpriced starter arrived after the main course. On a positive note the staff responded well to our complaints even though they looking busy. Sort out the kitchen Caffe Caruso then you should attract retuning customers. Remember these good folk who pay for these offerings. Recommend sorry it’s a nope

I’ve had coffee and cake here before and it was delicious. The same can’t be said for the toasted cheese. It was lunchtime and the place was about 10% full so not really busy. After ordering I waited 15 minutes for my toasted cheese. I noticed the waitress go to pick up my order, then tell the kitchen staff it was incorrect. They had made cheese and tomato so they had to start again. It arrived about five minutes later with some dried up garnish. I wouldn’t even of had the garnish if the waitress hadn’t asked the kitchen staff to put it on the plate. After all that , it was just a toasted cheese sandwich.

I go here quite often with my 91yr old mother and I can't fault the place. The choice of dishes on offer is good and reasonably priced, even if you just fancy tea and toast in the morning. The evening menu is more extensive and slightly more expensive. It is very welcoming to all ages, from babies to 91yr olds (or older!!). The management are friendly and accommodating. We tend to go mainly during the daytime, during the week and at weekends, and I have to say the staff are FIRST CLASS, helpful, courteous and professional. Would definitely recommend a visit.

This is the best place to eat in Warrington prices very reasonable. Stafff always professional and they get to know you, always a friendly chat. Food is excellent have eaten breakfast lunch and dinner . Best value cappuccinos in town, and the hottest. Have the bacon sandwich and a hot drink it’s cheaper than anywhere in town. The scrambled eggs and mushrooms excellent more like a lunch. Owner manager very friendly, also the music is good. What a little gem we have.

Went here for a fond farewell to a work mate moving on. There were nine of us and as it was Thursday pasta and pizza dishes were on offer the food was served by very amiable staff, no one person waiting for their meal. Plates hot food good. Very enjoyable, end of the evening we all paid our share of the bill, £2.00 for lime and soda, was that for 4 of us, shock horror, no that was each! Now we know that we subside the cut price evening. Since that visit I have regularly checked this beverage at other eateries and you Caffe Caruso get top prize for charging more than double YES DOUBLE! what other places charge, the Mulberry Tree Stockton Heath 0.53 for the same drink. Why the rating given? Food good, service good, £2.00 for the drink compared to other cafes/pubs, you'd have rated a big fat zero.

We have been to this restaurant several times now and travel from North Wales just to go there. The food is very good and the staff are lovely especially Josh who really made us welcome. We feel like it is home from home, thank you for two great evenings last weekend.

Visited as part of a birthday party with about 60 guests. I was amazed at the service for such a large party, all served quickly and efficiently. The staff were very accommodating with any requests for putting up a few balloons, banners etc. We chose the party menu which was very good at a fair price. Don't think anybody at the party had any complaints. Overall a very enjoyable evening.

We came for a birthday meal as a party of 9. When I visited the toilets, the gents cubicle seat was broken, as I only found out when I slipped off when it moved under me. There was no sign up saying out of order or broken. When I spoke to the manager, he was very defensive and rude, saying it wasnt broken when they checked in the morning. (I would assume then that no one has cleaned or checked the toilets since, good to know.) When i showed him the faulty toilet, again, he was very dismissave, even when I told him I had slipped off the seat, he didn't even ask of I was ok, which any reasonable personwould think is just is ignorant and rude. Even when we left over an hour later, it is still broken and no sign up warning people of it. What a lovely health and safety mind set they have.

This place is a little gem in Warrington town centre. Home cooked Italian food served by great staff. Laid back yet a cozy and romantic setting. The orange ribs are a must to try.

I absolutely love Cafe Caruso and go at least once a month. The half tomato half cheese garlic bread is gorgeous! The Calazone alla bomba and Penne Supremo is also to die for. It is deal night on Thursday, Any pizza or pasta for £6.50...

Very good food with nice vegetarian options. We went for our works Christmas do and people kept dropping out on the day. We have pre-ordered the food so I had to ring a couple of times to cancel the items. Couldn’t have been nicer about it and gave us an enjoyable evening.

Had a nice lunch with pizza and garlic bread. With a nice hot chocolate with cream and pot of tea. Despite the restaurant being very bust, the food arrived promptly and with a smile. It was tasty and well cooked. We are planning to return.

Been in this Italian many times the food is top class, the house wine is good, the service is very good everyone has always been on the ball but I have to mention young Josh he is class he looks after everyone with a big smile. Try the ribs in fact try it all good food.

First time in Warrington , waiting for a family member and I stumbled upon this little Italian gem . I was pleased to see they had a seafood special on as seafood pasta is my fave . The mussles on the plate had a beautiful shine to them and tasted very fresh . Usually mussles that are not fresh have a bad aftertaste but I could still taste the salt from the sea in these . The prices here are reasonable too , I will be back :)

Lovely traditional pasta dishes and pizzas, also a daily specials board offering something different, the wine is good, desserts are homemade and delicious. Staff are welcoming and attentive, Italian music is played to add atmosphere to this cosy restaurant.

the food was lovely - the service let it downwe finished our starters, the plates were taken away, and the main course brought out instantly , we never had time for our starter to settle , we were never asked if we would like another drink - this led us to feeling rushed and full as our food never settled when our main course dishes were taken away, we were asked if would like dessert, honestly no, maybe if we had time in between courses we would of had a dessert, we declined - at this stage I was expected to be asked another drink, maybe tea coffee - no are plates were just taken away what a shame poor service means I'll not go back

Superlative food and service; try a starter of tomato and garlic bread (really tasty) or a plate of olives (huge portion); enjoy a main course of Penne Supremo or Spaghetti Bolognese and I would recommend the Peroni lager which is reasonably priced and looked after - unlike draught beer from some restaurants.The red house wine is a decent tipple too.Referring back to service and on the evening of the visit all of the staff were brilliant: friendly and attentive.Perhaps the only slight criticism I can make is that there seems to be a limited wine list.Despite this, I'm still giving Cafe Carruso a Big Five!

Caffe Caruso is one of our favourite Italian restaurants. Far better value than other ones locally and much better food! We often visit on Thursdays when the pasta and pizzas are a special offer price, we've been on a Saturday too, but often find it a bit too loud and busy on this night. I love the lasagne, the best I've ever tried in any Italian restaurant, and I also love the penne supremo which is chicken, bacon and mushrooms in a creamy sauce topped with melted mozzarella, divine! My fiancé favours the pizzas. The cheesy garlic bread is fab! We tend to opt for 'half n half' tomato and cheese. We're not so keen on the plain garlic bread, as this is a wrap covered in garlic oil rather than a pizza type bread. The desserts are ok, nothing exceptional, but we like the choc lumpy bumpy. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and the staff are friendly. It's a restaurant that we love to visit.

Went with my girlfriend to celebrate our 3 years anniversary. The restaurant was packed and gave a really good atmosphere. We had bruschetta for starter which was lovely and then had pasta and swordfish which both went down well! To top it off Josh our waiter brought over some complimentary drinks to round off a perfect evening. Good work Josh and well done to the whole team!

I was on the way to the connecting train station Warrington Bank Quay from Central station, when Caffe Caruso draw my attention. There is something about it that makes you to go in. Unfortunately I was not hungry to try the food, even though I was tempted; I had a lovely expresso instead. Czech girl behind the counter was very helpful. I will definitely drop by next time I am in town.

Caffe Caruso always looks busy whenever I walk past, so when we decided to give it a visit we were both rather underwhelmed.I had the carbonara and she who must be obeyed had the risotto, and both were lacking any real flavour, with the risotto also having a real stodgy texture bordering on rice pudding.On the plus side, the ambience was very nice and the house white was a decent drop.I'm afraid we will not be returning anytime soon.

Finally stopped by this quaint restaurant in Warrington to sample some great Italian cuisine! The lasagne was very good and their house wine impressed. I liked the whole atmosphere with great staff!!When you pop into Warrington make sure you look for Caffè Caruso! You'll be sorry if you miss out!!

I loved this place from start to finish. Our group of 4 were the last seated on a packed out Saturday evening. The waiter was extremely attentive and went through the menu in detail with any queries we had! The food was top notch and the manager set the scene by turning up the music and blasting Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, much to all the diners delight as everyone starting singing and waving their hands! Highly highly recommend this restaurant!

Went here for lunch, got in at 11.50am and was out by 12.10pm talk about rushed!, I ordered the Calzone Allegro, the plate was cold, the pizza was warm, usually with a calzone (folded pizza), it stays piping hot in the middle this wasnt. There were 2 of us, not small people, asked for the 4 table (wasnt busy), and was told, no 2 table for 2 people, yet we saw a family of 3 on a 6 table, and another 2 or 3 couples on a 4 table, the service was extremely quick, my friend ordered the spaghetti carbonara and said it was ok, certainly not a place we shall be visitng again!!!

Visited with family and friends for a 50th birthday party. The food was highly praised by all, my Fillet steak was very well cooked - medium rare - everybody else happy with tagliatelle to pizza. Very attentive staff

It's not an Italian restaurant for Italian standards but I guess it will do the job for Warrington. The pizza was average tested like pizza from asda or another supermarket. However on the plus is the really friendly unique atmosphere.

Impromptu visit, called without a booking, early Saturday evening. Waiter very friendly and accommodating as were the rest of the staff and owner. My wife ate a delicious chicken, bacon and mushroom penne pasta dish and i had Calzone a la bomme which was also very good. The house red was quality as were the deserts. Very reasonably priced and the ambience you would expect of a vibrant Italian restaurant. Looking forward to our second visit.

We use Cafe Caruso, even since it was located near to Warrington Market!!!Now it stands in a better location and much has been done in the new location, and I must say that after tonights visit that my review is long overdue.WHY!!! When you find it is absolutely perfect and great value. excellent food, cooked as you like, it is hard to share with others and that is not appropriate!!Now, to reitereate, after tonights meal, my thoughts are that I have to share with ALL!! GREAT FOOD, SO JUST GO AND ENJOY, WELL WORTH THE MONEY, BUT MORE IMPORTANT IS WHAT YOU ASK FOR YOU GET, BETTER THAN YOU WILL EXPECT!!Once again, the meals exceeded ALL EXPECTATIONS!!!

We had our office Christmas outing here this week and it was excellent. Great atmosphere without being too noisy to hear conversation; food and drink excellent.Gamberoni to start was popular, the ribs are also well worth trying. Penne al Orientale and Arabietta were good, as were the Calzone.Service was excellent and the wine recommended by the waiter proved a really good call.Finally, the bill was even good! Great value

What a fantastic little family run Italian restaurant this is. We visited on Friday (2nd December 2016) evening and had a brilliant meal. The restaurant was very busy but the staff were brilliant. Food was excellent. I had one of the best sea food rissoto's that I have ever had. Great food, great staff and all at a very reasonable price as well. Will return when next in Warrington.

Had a great day out shopping and looked forward to a bit of lunch had a yearning for a great pasta meal one with a bit of fire i had a meal that was not on the menu .it was a blackboard special and i was to die for i cant remember its name sorry !!! however it had chilli spicy meat selections black olive and a sause which was amzeballs yummy Staff are great and the whole vibe is a warm and freindy place to be . Caffe Caruso is now my regular stop in town superb.

Difficult, but not impossible, to get seated without a booking. Had pre booked mine a week earlier. It was really busy.Wide choice of menu - had the Tagliatelli Alla Toscana which I can recommend.Prices are reasonable for the area.Only down side was the Desserts - No Apple Pie or Pancakes (not said when the menu was handed to us).By far the best Italian in Warrington at this time.

Great restaurant serving great food at a reasonable price. The owners and their Team are always welcoming and make you feel as though you are an old friend coming for dinner. We have been going to this restaurant for a number of years now taking family and friends and have never been disappointed. Try it!

Dined early evening last Thursday. Service was prompt and friendly, as soon as were seated. Good spot by the window for people watching if that's your thing. Fancied a glass of Prosecco but they only sell by the bottle. Bit disappointed and ended up just having a J2O. Had calamari to start, it was served with a tasty sauce and there was nothing wrong with it, just expected the usual crispy calamari rings in batter. They cook the squid flesh but they don't t cook it in batter. I ordered the fillet steak with chips, and enjoyed it, though the steak was a tad on the small size. I asked for the sauce to be served separately as I'd seen previous comments saying food smothered in cream. My son had the pizza which was on an offer Thursday night for £6, cant knock the price. I'd say the atmosphere was good, just there was loud music played but it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of our visit. Would recommend to others.

I have been here twice now, the second time for my birthday.Although the food was really nice, the staff are what stuck out to me. They are so lovely and helpful! At the end of my meal I really fancied an iced coffee and although it wasn't on the menu, one of the ladies was happy to make one for me. I will definitely keep going back just because of the staff. Food was also amazing!

Went to Caffe Caruso with my husband last night and had a really excellent meal. We chose two specials for starters; me the goats cheese and he the black pudding and mushrooms, both delicious. We then had fillet steak Diane and sirloin steak with pepper sauce respectively, neither could be faulted. Two of the best steaks we've had for a very long time, cooked to perfection and accompanying veg and potatoes just right. Service was excellent too and the pricing is very competitive. Highly recommended.

First time I have ever been and was looking forward to it as everybody says it is good. Oh boy was I disappointed. The food was so bland couldn't spot a herb which is unusual for Italian. I had garlic mushrooms to start no garnish or small slice of chiabata nothing. Then I had a pasta dish it was just smothered in bland tomato based sauce my friend had the curry one and it looked exactly the same and she said that was bland. The service was not much better. I would not recommend or go again. Had better meals in ask and presso but would prefer to go local not chain.

My husband and I ate here last night. We enjoy popping in during the day for a coffee and snack, much better than the big chains in Warrington, so decided to try it in the evening for dinner. It was very busy and there was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. There was a big birthday party which was probably the reason we had to wait so long for our starters. My goats cheese on a bun starter was burnt on the bottom and my husbands ribs look really unappetising on the plate, just a big mess! Never seen ribs served like this before. We both ordered steak for our main course which was served hot and a good size but nothing special. The staff were very attentive and friendly and we would probably eat here again but choose a different meal.

My family have just enjoyed a double birthday celebration in our home from home Italian restaurant Caffe Caruso. We often call in for lunch or just a quick coffee, (we think its the best coffee in town).The food offered is. excellent value for money, Especially the Pizzas. We have always had a warm welcome and excellent service. In the evening the atmosphere is transformed with music and lighting . The evening menu is also extensive and there is a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. For our 'DO' the staff had decorated with balloons and table streamers and allowed us to bring our own cake which they brought out with a fanfare and Happy birthday played at the end of our meal. This is not the first birthday meal I have enjoyed here and it certainly won't be the last. If you love Italian food you will love this place.

Love going this place and me and my wife had pizza to share for starters which was gorgeous. And our mains the mrs had penne supreme. Which she enjoyed. I had the orientale which has a slight curry tint to it and normally is very nice but this time it was bland and the chicken and and the sauce very bland tasting. The waiter asks if our meal was ok and my wife told them about my meal. And he came back with just a couple of shots lol. I think and hope this is a one off and will continue to back

Caffé Caruso never fail to deliver flawless food and customer service. Always enjoy coming in here for a yummy lunch! There is so much to choose from, would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Only issue is its so good it gets pretty busy!!

Gorgeous food, lovely service, really good value - can't fault it :) It does get busy so always book your table, especially on a Thursday evening as there's an offer (any pizza or pasta for £5.90). Enjoy !

They were fully booked when we called up , but no sooner had we put the phone down they called back and offered us a table, great customer service!!! It's been about 20 years since I last visited, and that was when they were in a smaller restaurant closer to the market. It's nice inside and very traditional and authentic, our food was served very quickly and was very nice, the service was also great, If I had to fault anything it would be the bolognaise sauce, I have to be honest, it wasn't as authentic as I expected it to be it tasted very pre-packed, I expected it to be home made but I don't think it was, also in the calzone the ham was processed, again I would of expected a little higher quality, but it all tasted good, and the next time we visit we know exactly what to expect.

We have been going to caffe Caruso for years, the food is always delicious. The house wine is always pretty good as well. We have never had a bad meal. Not too expensive. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere really makes the place. I would recommend this Italian.

Been here several times, always friendly and good value. House red is good and inexpensive. Great feel to the restaurant to.
