Cafe Cartel in Calderdale

Food was better last year before they closed. Burgers taste burnt now, the tenders aren't the same and are now too chewy, and they don't give enough filling in the toasties/paninis.

Placed an order for two paninis and got given bread with smallest amount chicken inside 👎🏾

Ordered first time from here on Uber Eats, delivery to huddersfield, the food was amazing, we got the chick fries, breakfast bun and chicken panini, all dietary needs were met and agreed to over the phone before order placement. The food was nice and warm when arrived and customer service was great as well as delivery. Would recommend. Thank You

Terrible customer service and no breakfast at 10am

Very nice smashed burger. The beef did not have a fatty smell to it like some other placed. The loaded chicken fries were nice only recommendation is to add more onions and maybe Cabbage for extra crunch and an option to add some chilli/Peri Peri sauce to give it a bit of tanginess, otherwise it was really good! Will defo be back to try more things.

Absolutely delicious food, freshly made, light on the stomach as opposed to these usually greasy takeaways, good portion size not too big at all. 5⭐️s all around

Ordered a few times no churrcos in stock but on tjr menu. Had to wait ages for my refund. Second time i orded was told it was delivered when it wasn’t. Refund again. Ordered today due to the food being nice driver is rude and a can’t find my address keeps tying to deliver food a few doors up from cartel

The chicken wasn’t cooked enough

Food is always good from here. Got their classic Pannini and toastie on delivery a few times now. Always crispy fries freshly fried and food has always been piping hot. I wish they still did their kebab sandwiches and samosa sandwiches though. Please bring them back 🙏🏾

The toasties and paninis are clearly frozen which is a shame considering the price. They are very dry, not grilled enough and not filled enough either.

I’ve tried the food from there first time and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed at all the burgers were really good, very tasty and well packaged and presented , can’t wait to try other things on the menu. Will definitely recommend it 👍🏼

all food came with salad when asked not then offered another meal to be told would be another 25 to 30 mins or 10% off next time I go in joke

Quality food best around in Halifax!

Had the classic chicken burger from here after a very long time, and it hit the spot great food. Great service, lovely staff 👍 so if ur in the area, then I suggest u give it a try and see for yourself they also have a breakfast menu now so if you fancy a breakfast burger meal and coffee ☕️ plus loads of options to try from plus they have kids mini burger options the food is 10/10

Don’t get me wrong the vibe of this place is amazing and them cali and smash burgers and panini top notch, but the biggest let down was the chicken the hot chick burgers we bought were still raw it wasn’t fully cooked maybe they did this because of the rush but literally after the first bite I was shocked and couldn’t have a bite after that so we had to throw them out and I felt sick, other than that the rest of the foods are good, just wouldn’t recommend the chicken from here but everything else was nice x

Wondering why 3 stars🤔 Because can someone explain why they have increased price on the panini meals however decrease the amount of chips😂

The price and portion sizes are WAYY off. Food was alright but for £20 got a smaller than palm size burger, 5 chips, 2 strips of chicken and 3 small wings! Food was bone cold when it arrived, reduce your prices and be less stingy with portions, I know there is a cost of living crisis but let’s not rob people…

Great looking interior, music is good while you wait for food. Food is really tasty. I’ve been here a lot for milkshakes and desserts. Would recommend the baklava and milk cake. Fries and sandwiches are delicious as well. Would recommend you try it if you haven’t been before. It beats a lot of takeaways around Halifax.

First time trying out the Smash burger from here today I highly recommend this burger to everyone! From the food to the service there’s nothing to fault. Also a massive thank you to Fatima who provided amazing customer service i will definitely be coming back to try out more things on the menu.

The food is nice but it takes ages to arrive and last time I went they put the burger in foil but just chucked the chips in the bag and they were cold but the smash burger is nice

I was out walking on a very hot day, and saw this cafe. The young man serving made me very welcome, giving me the opening times and all options for drinks. I had a milkshake, which was very good. I didn't try the food this time, but would be tempted to go back for lunch sometime

I've been here twice already. The milkshake here is the best I've ever had! (The Godfather) The burgers and snacks are also great here. I'd definitely go again. Two girls working are extremely sweet and provide good service!

Went with a few of my friends last night, we got soft serve, chicken sandwich and a smashed burger. Everything was spot on and the service was really good too. Best in HX

The food is all pretty spot on and service is outstanding. If you want samosa chaat which tastes authentic and homemade then this is where you need to go. The baklava and ice cream is bang on the mark and so was the mocktail!

Everything’s on point, the food I ordered was absolutely banging, and the whole family had agreed with that too (which is rare). The customer service is amazing, theres a great level of respect. The place is amazing, from the name to the aesthetics and then again back to the food which is on point. Even the menu has got a little personality to it. Straight 5 star review I definitely recommend.

Heard some great things about this place and drove past to see the interior and exterior had been designed nicely. Tried the smash burger with curly fries and can't fault it one bit. Enjoyed every bite and price is reasonable for the quality you get.

The food was amazing, I got the smash burger and it was hot and fresh and the best smash burger I have ever had! The customer service was 10/10 and friendly, although the food took a little longer they kept me updated and my food was still fresh. Will be my new regular takeaway!

Best smashed patty burgers in town. Excellent burger and great fries. A must try for anyone in the area and does not disappoint. Looks very classy inside and will be back to try out their massive range of desserts aswell as their other hot food. Overall 10/10 quality, highly recommended

Busy! We did order quite a bit to be fair… so the wait was longer than usual. However, we were not disappointed. Presentation was lovely, I could see the staff took their time packing the food. The staff were lovely and polite too! Most importantly, the food… deliciousness in every bite and hot. Understand why they’re so busy. I will defo wait again, if that’s the kind of food they serve. Btw - Try the lasagna 🤤.

Excellent food!!! Menu is extensive and quite original - loved the names for some of the food and drinks. Made me and my friend giggle! 🤦🏻‍♀️😄. The service we received was amazing and we will definitely go back again. CC definitely is different! The baklava was fresh - crispy, chewy, nutty… YUM! - I’m Turkish, so I know my baklavas! Expect it to be busy guys! Not surprised - the smash meal and the El Chapo was also divine!

If your looking for a place that doesn’t do your box standard food, definitely would recommend going to cafe cartel. The food is amazing 👌🏼👌🏼 everything on the menu is banging can’t fault them on anything. The place is beautiful and the staff are friendly. Would highly recommend checking it out
