Allstarz Desserts Sowerby Bridge in Calderdale

Bought 3 cornflakes tarts, went home, all 3 were soggy and tasted off, called the shop, spoke to the person who served me, she was very rude, did not offer me any alternatives, waste of money, all 3 gone into the bin. Never going there again.

So basically I was delivering a parcel to a shop but the owner was not in, so I went next door, in Allstarz Desserts and the ladies inside were very friendly and took the parcel without hesitation. They were very bubbly so I decided to buy a desert and completely change the remaining delivery route. It was warm, sweet and delicious. Felt like home and gave me energy to carry on, even though outside was raining cats & dogs 😄 all the best! 🤗

The food is amazing and the service is very fast everyone there are so friendly

so rude went in there asking for a paper towel for my friends shoe and the asain lady was so rude she was saying on if your a customer then you can go to the toilet what an absolute joke especially when i have bowl problems to then her daughter came out pulling proper dirty i asked what her problem is and she said you just been starting on my mum how have we been starting i just said it was a joke never will i ever go in there again

went in and asked to use the toilet, they said no unless you buy anything which it never used to be like that. as i left i was stood outside and the new owner’s daughter was giving me very rude looks and said ‘what’ bearing in mind im 14 years old and this was a fully grown woman. she then came outside and proceeded to say u came in being rude to my mum so i explained i asked to use the toilet and there was nothing more to it she was swearing so i said with this service it doesn’t look to good. will not be going in again the old owner was lovely shame it’s changed so much!

Absolutely brilliant food and atmosphere its a wonderful place to go for a lunch in sowerby bridge me and my friend absolutely love All-Starz!

I recently ordered from here and the brilliant service and the effort they go through to put a smile on the customers face with things such as your name on your cup with a smile face

Staff were lovely made sure me and my cousin were okay with everything and apologized for running out of milk and having to get more. Didnt take long at all for us to get our food and drinks 100% recomend

I ordered delivery and tge waffle was soggy wasn't cooked and looked like it had just all been chucked together and put in the microwave

Zero stars ! I placed a order last night via Just Eat at 8.45 had a order confirmation that it would be delivered at 9.20 At 9.45 i phoned up to chase our desserts to be told they were very busy and that the delivery guy had left with 7 orders an ours was one off them and he wouldn’t be long. 10.05 I called again to be told they hadn’t received my order I said what I ordered them he replied oh yes I just made that up he will be 10 - 15 minutes. By 11 o’clock still nothing and there closed ! Tonight I have phoned to chase this up as we can’t get the money back through just eat no explanation to we’re our food went and no refund or offer to redeliver the food what a waste of £40 😡 I wouldn’t recommend I feel completely fobbed off ! I will never try order from these again rang up got told 45mins for delivery was still waiting 30mins later after ringing once on getting told was on the way so waited another 15mins to be told it had not even left the shop and was next out don't know why you would like to a customer so cancelled order very disappointed

Went in yesterday ordered a latte took a good 10 minutes to make, took my latte outside to enjoy the sun then took the lid off my latte and it was a flat white so went back into the shop to complain and the young lad behind the counter was soooo rude l told him l didn't like his attitude and walked out, l will never go into the Sowerby Bridge shop again

I'm glad we have such a nice cafe with desserts in a small town. Love the waffles with strawberries and melty chocolate, just so delicious.

It's not as busy as the other restaurants and cafes but it is a quiet and friendly place where you can pick any treats you like as I experienced as I have tried these tasty desserts 😁. In fact I have been to this place twice.

Ordered at 8:45 it’s been an hour and 10 mins and it’s delayed past the time the shop closes. Pisstake.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! The ice creams are very delicious, their milkshakes are so scrumdidilidumptious, and the service is so nice! We didn’t even have enough for the ice creams but they offered to pay the rest on them! Would recommend!

Amazing waffles and milkshakes, the staff is wonderful and never lets me down with customised orders. I have only ever ordered with uber eats and the food always been delicious every time with very fast delivery. 10/10 :)

Amazing dessert place with great service

Amazing place for the family. The deserts were on point our order was large and we came late and was still accomated really well. Service and staff were amazing. Siham was super great, Highly recommended if you near this place.

Had a family treat to AllStarz and we had a really great time. The desserts were really good, and we didn't have to wait long for them to arrive. We each had something different. The waffles looked amazing, the sundaes were fantastic. It was clean and tidy, toilets on site too. Staff super polite and friendly. Will definitely be back for another visit.

£25 for milkshake and cookie dough that was never delivered. Called and the guy just shouted down the phone about a new driver. Not ideal for a Thursday eve 😂

We stopped by on our way home from school. The staff are very friendly and there was lots to choose from on the menu. My daughter got chocolate strawberries and I had a triple chocolate brownie. It’s really nice to sit inside with nice designed furniture and it was very clean too. It’s cash only so be prepared for that. We will definitely come again!

Me and my friends went to Allstarz yesterday. The customer service and attention to detail at AllStarz is exceptional. The desserts are delicious. And the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Thank you, we will definitely return

Bad service and the drink was very expensive for what it was and was definitely not worth it- wasn’t very nice and left a bad taste. Took about 20 minutes for it to be ready also.

Just had a fantastic experience here. Brilliant service (even though we were a big group of 16), lovely puddings and the staff were lovely too; bringing out extra forks, spoons, syrup, glasses of water when needed. Big thumbs up!

Short black hair on desert last night. Had to throw in the bin. Drink ok. Wont order again. Once a hair on food thats it. Such a shame as ok before.

ordered a nutella crepe with strawberries and the strawberries didn’t even come with the crepe just a plain crepe. ordered waffles with strawberries and yet again the strawberries didn’t come with the waffle just a plain waffle. always messing up orders!!

Waited 2 and a half hours for delivery. Every time I phoned to ask he said the driver would be there in two minutes. Still it never showed up. Wouldn’t mind but I only ordered a cornflake tart. Won’t be ordering from them again!

Never been before but my son deserved a treat so thought we would give it a go! We were not disappointed at all, absolutely gorgeous desserts 😍 staff were all so lovely and the place was really nice and so clean! Would recommend and we will definitely be going back again!!

Cookie dough is great and will definitely hit any sugar craving. Unfortunately the toilet is quite dirty and no baby change facilities or a bin for sanitary products.

Visited Sowerby Bridge today and found this great place. We had two smoothies each full of fruit and the customer service was excellent. Thank you.

The most sound staff. Brought us a table outside, and when the wind blew our drinks off the table they were so apologetic and gave us a choc brownie, even though it wasn't their fault. Genuinely lovely people, thanks!

We stopped here for a cup of tea and slice of cake. We had travelled from Chester le Street on our way to a hotel a little way out of town.We were served by a nice young man called Sayyam who was friendly and helpful,actually getting in touch with a relative to get directions to our hotel.My cake was a little expensive,but never mind because it tasted superb!

I’ve been here a few times and it’s soooooo good. We just had the breakfast menu all of the waffles were delicious and definitely filling. Recommend you share. Will always go here for deserts 👍

Very friendly staff. Coffee was good. Cake was average, didn't taste homemade and the cream wasn't real, very sweet. Clean and tidy environment. Quite expensive.

Had some excellent desserts with top quality ice cream and the service was fantastic, all for a really reasonable price, a great way to end an evening

Lovely friendly place with amazing desserts

Food here is great, stopped by on a sight seeing drive around Lancashire and Yorkshire. Food is very nice, and in large quantities. Staff are very friendly and chatty - they took their time to help us get great choices off the menu. Decor is interesting - I'd describe it as 1970s French boudoir!

Great little place the desserts were wow massive pieces of cake etc really nice would definitely recommend this place 😎

Our first outing to Allstarz was made with family who were visiting ( a dessert restaurant is a tradition). As a group of 8 we ordered a mix of sundae's, cookie dough"s,and waffles plus drinks. From the start the staff were polite and friendly and made us feel welcome. It is the little touches that set this venue apart - the ice with a drink that was not as cold as the others, the trying to return our tip and the way the staff interacted with the children in our party. All our desserts were of a high standard and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. At less than £60.00 for 8 desserts plus drinks we thought the prices were very reasonable. We definitely recommend Allstarz as a perfect way to treat yourself whether it is a celebration or just a reward for making it through the day/week etc.

Expensive but different. Perfect for teanagers or below as a treat

We really loved it here. My son absolutely loved it and made me write a review. The owner was very attentive and made us feel more than welcome. As for the deserts they were another level. So much so that I took one home to my Mrs, all I can say is if I made her as happy as the desert I'd be a happy man. We'll definitely be going back. A superb place to go for a treat or any occasion

Staff friendly and helpful. But some had no masks which is a abit of putting. Husband went to toilet empty toilet rolls on the floor so housekeeping a bit slack otherwise ok

The deserts I bought were delicious, but I was concerned that the staff were not wearing masks although the man serving was exempt, I would advise a screen.

The service was amazing, the food was great so a really good place to go, 10/10 would reccomend :)

Was driving past and noticed they finally opened. Decided to give them a try. Called and as I had no idea what was on the menu asked for a recommendation. Was recommended the victory royale I think. Said it would be ready in 15 mins got there 2 mins early and was greeted by polite staff and a stunning shop setup 😍 had my milkshake ready for exactly 15 mins from when I ordered it. So timing was awesome. The milkshake looked amazing and the taste was mind-blowing I can't remember the guy's name who took my order but damn thanks dude. Will defo be back again for many more of them highly recommend
