Cafe Bonjourno in Richmond upon Thames

Friendly staff, prompt service, good food, generous portions. Nicely spaced tables with comfortable seating. Pleasant sitting outside in the summer. A local gem.

The staff here are lovely and very helpful. They are happy to do things slightly "off menu". You can see how popular it is with locals as the same people go there time and again!

Brilliant service and lovely food. Highly recommended. I had a fresh salad nicoise, which was delicious. Comfortable surroundings and they have outside seating too. Very close to the Taylor Close car park. Perfect for what I needed

First of can't fault the staff as they are very friendly, the only thing if your going to use hp bottles I.e brown sauce make sure its the real thing, cheap filled brown sauce was put in there and it was revolting taste which I sadly used on my breakfast which was off putting

Ordered Eggs Benedict. It arrived and had two tiny bits of bacon. They had put some very odd herb on it which didn't go. I thought the bread was really odd, half way though it I noticed that it was on a seaded burger bun. I was in total disbelief. I have never seen anything like it. How could anyone think that is acceptable. I mentioned this to a staff member. When I went up to pay, another staff member spoke to me about it, I can only assume he was the manager, said sorry about that it was an error we normally use flour buns. I'm then given the bill which was full price. They certainly gave the impression they could not careless. I certainly will never be returning. I normally go to Benton's cafe on the high street which use far better ingredients and have must better customer service. Unfortunately they were closed on that day.

Needed a light lunch after driving to Hampton from West Midlands to see a friend in a show at nearby Hampton Hill Theatre. Lovely afternoon, so was able to sit outside. service was quick and table wiped down before lovely young waitress took our order. Food was excellent (smoked salmon salad, and toasted vegetable pannini) that came in reasonable time. All in all a very pleasant experience , will use again if in Hampton for another show at the superb Hampton Hill Theatre

Have been going here on and off for years Waitress has been here for ever sometimes quite nice I mainly go once a week or take away coffee the food is ok but service not that great and I always sit outside with a friend even bad weather I hv a small dog who is not yappy of course other dogs pass she will bark a little this is the second time they hv had a problem with my dog I bring my own water shes under the table my last 2 bills are around 15/20 per visit if you dont want dogs put up a sign there are loads of cafe s and a few pubs sorry its always the way but you hv so many places to choose

First time so lovely and then the second time the most disgusting behaviour was exhibited towards me in front of my son because a paper menu had blown away in the wind...they accused me of stealing the menu!!! I work for a children's charity, not Gordon Ramsay why would I want your damn menu! Two staff members around my table quizzing me ruining everything for me and my son.

Really nice little cafe. Very clean. Really nice breakfast. Perfect fried eggs and lovely hot crisp delicate fries. Like I said, it’s not fancy but it is all perfectly cooked. Most cafes don’t make this standard.

Went here with my wife yesterday. The waitress cleaned my table, wiped everything down, took our order, cleaned the loo, disinfected her hands and later served a good breakfast. Needless to say they were from a foreign land. Exceptional hygene and hard work. I wish other cafes were this well run. A good team and a good cook. Beautiful fries - light and delicate and hot. (and no, that is not easy)

Lovely to sit outside in the sun drinking freshly squeezed orange juice. Street theatre in front of you on the wide pavement as people pass.

This is an ok place but not very welcoming and a bit like a greasy spoon cafe. Tired and worn down. Doesn't take much to spruce a place up and I know a few people who haven't been back which is a shame as it would be great to support local businesses but they do need to try and at least attract customers in.

Staff always friendly. Great coffee at good price. We frequently enjoy sitting outside with the dog just watching the world go by.

This is our local cafe on the high street and we are very lucky to have it here! It’s always warm and friendly when you walk in. Always busy. The home made food is great quality and with great flavours! And one of my favourites is that they sell some of the best homemade baclava I’ve ever tasted!

Attentive service, simple but well cooked and prepared food and drink. Pleasant outside eating area if the weather is good. Pleasant change from all the dull familiar high street names

I created an account just to write this review, came here for a full English with 4 of my friends and the food was over priced at £6.25 to start with, by the time it eventually arrived the food was cold. The bacon was like it had just came out of the fridge, so cold, the sausages were mushy like mash potato and probably had like 40% pork in. The mushrooms were most likely out of a tin and had next to no taste whatsoever, the toast was soggy. The only good thing about it was the drink I bought, which was £1.80......DO NOT GO HERE

Have been visiting this cafe for some time as I live locally. In my view this is by far the best and friendliest cafe around. Just lovely.

Large menu, nice enough waitress, we ordered & my husband had to rush out and they happily put the food on hold for 20 mins before he made it back Sandwiches & omelettes good

Buena cafetería para almuerzo aperitivos/té/café y un servicio rápido y amable. El único inconveniente es que no hay pagos con tarjeta. Tiene un número de mesas y sombrillas para mantener fuera del sol en los raros días de calor. Ubicado en la sección de la calle que está situado detrás de la carretera, así que el tráfico no es demasiado intrusivo.

Empezó bastante mal como me senté en la zona exterior para 10 minutos mi novio y yo fuimos a conseguir dinero en efectivo (no aceptan tarjeta o no ese día), me quedé completamente ignorado toda la solicitaba. Cuando mi novio volvió nos imaginamos que usted debe pedir en el mostrador - le dijo a sentarse bastante activamente y menús de empuje en su mano. Luego llegamos a sentarse y esperar más ya que llevó al menos 15 minutos antes de nuestra orden. La orden entonces fue equivocada y bebidas uno de los bocadillos cuando tocado fue completamente quemado. Fue un día ajetreado y yo felizmente esperar si veo que el personal está ocupado, pero en este caso también eran bastante personal grosero y parece que no quieren reconocer en absoluto. No era la única mesa que eran tratados como este y yo vimos otro par de esperar unos 20 minutos para su café y galletas. La comida estaba bien, igual que la bebida que no había elegido, y era un hermoso día de verano, pero sin duda este café podría mejor!

Entré en la cafetería con mis amigos, mi hermana y sobrino que sólo es un niño pequeño. Nos sentamos en una mesa y fue recibido por un miembro del personal que era grosero e impaciente. Mientras decidimos qué elegir del menú el chef explotar de la cocina para el personal detrás de la cultive, mientras que cubren sus oídos CON SUS MANOS. Gritos que no concentrarse mientras busca en todos nosotros y gestos agresivamente mientras cerrándose la puerta de la cocina.

Su precio sigue aumentando y mientras los residentes de Hampton Hill están dispuestos a pagar precios más altos, que continuarán aumentando sus precios.

Fuimos para el almuerzo hoy aquí con algunos de mis amigos, uno de los cuales tiene un niño pequeño. Estaba deseando este como he estado un par de veces antes y disfrutar realmente de su mexicana panini. Sin embargo, me pareció que el personal era tan grosera esta vez. Mis amigos bebé comenzó un poco irritado y llorando. Entiendo que esto puede ser molesto, pero se supone que es una cafetería familiar. Ninguno de los clientes parecían a la mente, todos fueron sonriendo y hablando con nosotros. Mi amigo incluso lo llevó fuera a calmar. La mujer detrás del hasta era darnos parece mal y la gota que colmó el vaso fue cuando el chef explotar de la cocina, empezó a llanto bebé despotricando y luego de vuelta a la cocina furiosa - dar portazos muy alto! Mis amigos y yo estábamos tan estupefactos. No queríamos darles nuestro dinero. Nos sentimos tan incómodos que nos paró y nos fuimos a la Mallard hinchado por la carretera que nos dio la bienvenida felizmente en su pub.

That's basically full story - too bad it was for a take away, put in a box and I realized I was without a salad after I arrived home.

We have visited several times after a walk in Bushey Park. It is best in good weather when you can sit outside. Wide choice of sandwiches, salads, breakfast and some basic meals which are very fresh and nicely presented.Coffee Is average but we enjoy the simplicity and low prices.

I had the meat lasagne which was delicious, the portion was so large that I had to take what I couldn't eat, away.Service was very good and prices are very reasonable.I would definitely recommend a visit.

This cafe has to be the best in Hampton Hill, if not all of the borough of Richmond upon Thames (with the exception of pasta dishes). They do an excellent croque madame topped with a fresh egg, brilliant breakfasts fit for a king and a special make-your-own pizza offer, for only a fiver!If you are to order the make-your-own pizza offer, I would recommend a Florentine pizza, as they crack the egg fresh and order in fresh spinach from local farms (it's the best Florentine pizza I've ever had!). Everything in this cafe is as should be. You get great food, great coffee and great cakes.I would recommend this place to anyone. Even families (if they're behaved).

It's a café not a restaurant so the style of presentation is simple and welcoming.Smiling counter service,charming waitress and coffee Americano came with hot milk as requested and my scrambled eggs on toast were as they should be.Warm sunny day and most of the outside tables were full.Right in the middle of Hampton Hill with little direct café competition.Four pubs in the area though !

Good location, friendly and outside tables. Sadly, americano and cappuccino we tried today were both pretty dreadful; thin flavour and hot frothy milk with little flavour. We paid, left almost full cups and asked if perhaps there was a problem with the coffee grinder or espresso machine, but were told all was fine.

I visit Bonjournos several times a week with friends mainly at lunchtime. There is a good selection of food available from the comprehensive menu which can be amended if required. Comfortable & convenient tables for four are provided in the attractive interior, and in the summer there is also the option to sit outside on the forecourt under a number of umbrellas.Service from the friendly staff is quick & efficient, & cannot be faulted. Quality of the food is excellent & the value for money is exceptional.Probably the best cafe in Hampton Hill & the perfect place to go for breakfast, lunch, a snack, or even just a coffee.Definitely worth a visit.Recommended !!!!!

I go with a group of friends on a very regular basis (a couple of times a week) and enjoy the hot or cold menu, salads particularly, which I can customise to my preferences. Not many small local cafes are so flexible and friendly. Service I find very efficient. The cafe has tables outside which are great and the location catches the sunshine on summer days. Great place for a leisurely, inexpensive lunch with friends.

Friends like this cafe so I have been several times but I have never been impressed. Service is virtually non existent, I was ignored at the counter and I was ignored at my table, the coffee is tasteless and last time we went my friend's scrambled eggs were burnt. Whenever I go now I just have a glass of water as I resent giving them any money. There are several better places in Hampton Hill.
