Beautiful restaurant. You have to make reservation before to go. We were there to eat Tapas with beers. Good quality of jamón serrano and the presentation of the dishes.

Food is BEYOND delicious! Meant to take pics but got stuck in so quickly, haha. The honey mustard chicken was delicious, the meatballs were STUNNING - you could dip anything in that spiced tomato sauce and it would taste delicious. We got both croquettes, the ham and spinach. The ham I wouldn't get again. They were nice, but nothing special. But the spinach and cheese ones?? UNREAL. So delicious. Been craving them since I left! I also got the paella which again was lovely, and a huge portion for the price, but definitely not the tastiest thing you could get. Brilliant value for filling up though! Trying to think of other standout dishes. The mushroom in a cheesy sauce was good. We got the 3 tapas each for £18.95 which ended up being a great deal.

Great place for our surprise family celebration of our daughter's 21st birthday. Food was excellent and staff were lovely. Will definitely be back! We all really enjoyed it.

Spanish paella is very delicious. Anyone who has not tried this paella will make me sad, okay? There is also a Chinese menu, and their Spanish churros dipped in chocolate sauce taste great. It is a very unique dessert. I will try it next time I go to the city center.

When you see a Spanish bar you say... wow, but when you eat the food it has nothing to do with it, I give it a 5.

Very poor - platter with ham cheese and chorizo would have been better from Sainsbury local. Left most on plates and no mention of ‘all ok?’ from server. Think he knows. Nice enough guy. Also watch out for add-on costs for the 3 tapas deal- you add on £3 each for basic dishes. Won’t be falling for this place again. If you don’t go to Spain and dint know how good it is , this is a different menu no matter how badly executed.

Food is quite good. Pity they overcharged us 4 special menues. So i do not think you'll see us again.

Delicious authentic Spanish tapas. The paella, prawns pil pil, patatas bravas all outstanding. Served hot with great service. Smashing.

As an Andalusian and Spaniard, I find the tortilla a shame, and as a person, I find the price it has and that the meatballs arrive hard and salty to me. the calamari was good.

To be honest I have passed this place soooo many times but somehow it doesn't have the curb appeal and we did not visit. Until today and what a nice surprise! Proper andalusian style decor, Spanish staff and tasty dishes! I could select most if not all of the items on the menu and what we have had today was all enjoyed by our party of 3. I'll be back:)

I love Cafe Andaluz..... it's a regular haunt for our group because it's central and easy for us all to get to and there's something for everyone on the extensive tapas menu. The drinks selection is also great for the drinkers including some lovely wines. There's usually 7 of us when we dine and the one negative I find is that if we all order 3 or 4 small plates each, with water glasses, wine glasses etc on the table, there's barely any room for all the plates. Wish the tables were just a little bigger! But that's a minor issue and it won't ever stop us from returning!

It's worth taking a look around

Visited last Tuesday. Ordered six tapas. Five of them were ok but the Patatas Bravas were absolutely dreadful. My girlfriend and I both agreed they felt like they were reheated with a really poor, weird texture which spoiled our overall enjoyment of the meal. We've been here a few times and really enjoyed it and been to several other Spanish restaurants. This was only one dish but Patatas Bravas are one of the most popular dishes in these restaurants so you would expect this would be fairly straightforward to serve them up fresh. Service was really nice and friendly with a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and the decor is really nice as well. Another wee thing - and this goes out to countless restaurants around the world - please fix your wobbly tables and chairs! It's really annoying and I had to tuck some tissues under the chair leg to stop it rocking.

It's very expensive, and it doesn't taste good, it's not like real Spanish food

Very uneven and overall disappointing. The Scottish tapas are not bad. The Spanish ones are a complete miss. Large portions, so order less than you would normally (something the waiter won’t tell you). I would recommend: the black pudding, the goat cheese and the lamb. Avoid the patatas bravas, the mussels and the Serrano ham.

I ate the best Spanish tapas there are. The price was worth it. And the service was very friendly and impeccable.

We are Spaniards, the restaurant is nice, the service is very good, the tapas are small and expensive for the quantity, the Iberian sausages board is not Iberian, they charge you 15 pounds for 2 slices of ham, 3 pieces of cheese, 2 of loin and 2 chorizo ​​without bread, we asked for bread and they charge you 4.25 pounds for a basket, very expensive for what they offer.

Met my sister here for lunch, sadly it wasn’t warm enough to sit outside. The inside restaurant is very nice though. We arrived for an early lunch at 1200, but had to vacate our table by 1330 (it was handled very nicely with an offer to move to the bar with our drinks). I knew when I booked online that we only had the table for 90 minutes, but it was tight to eat our food in that time, even with the very efficient service. My sister loves tapas as there is always a wide selection of vegetarian options. We had five selections (4 veggie and one meat) between us, but there was barely room for them on our small table - again we understood it was busy - but it really wasn’t ideal to eat tapas off a tiny table. The food, although very good, was not as hot as it could have been. I prefer it when tapas come with some sort of hot/heated plate, but again space would have been an issue. We had desserts - the traditional Crèma Catalana and a Limoncello dessert - both excellent. We also shared a generous jug of sangria. The restaurant is obviously very popular, as it filled up quickly and was still busy when we left about 1430. All in all, I would recommend this place, the staff were very attentive, but I would be tempted to try something other than tapas to see if the food can gain that extra star.

I just love the tapas style where you can try multiple dishes. Portions are of a good size, so you don't want to have too many dishes. I was enjoying the food and the company so much that I forgot to take pictures. We had a table of four and I had the chicken thighs, potato's gratinadas, goats cheese, and the prawns. All to die for!

Very good restaurant with its ideal location to enjoy the food. We went for coffee break during afternoon to enjoy the coffee and sweets. It’s excellent location and coffee taste.

Great place to eat, my only criticism is they don't serve just bread only. You need a bit to mop up the delicious sauces. The six tapas we had between two weren't quite filling. We ended up paying over 4 pounds for the balsamic Vinegar and olive oil dip just for the bread, which was a bit boring if I'm honest, The lamb tagine was delicious by the way and worth the suppliment as were the scallops, but avoid the squid. The house wine was quite acceptable.

Food and service was excellent.

Booked online for the West End restaurant. Used the link given on the confirmation email to drive to the restaurant, only to be told upon arrival I had arrived at their other venue (not the West End). When I pointed out that it was the details on the confirmation email that were incorrect I was told it is my job to double check on a different platform to be sure. Just to be clear - it was the link given on the email that sent me to the wrong restaurant. The host was very rude about the situation and blamed me, instead of realising that it was their system. There was no attempt to find a table or an alternative option. Very rude host and safe to say they have lost my business.

A well known city centre restaurant serving authentic spanish food, with a focus on tapas dishes, as well as many other options. The tapas menus are excellent value for money , the options for draft beer and other drinks is good and varied. The food was of great quality, the staff were friendly and welcoming. It is very highly recommended, well worth a visit.

6/24 Visited this tapas restaurant as a group of 5 whilst on holiday. Very good selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. We chose two dishes each for us all to share, which turned out to be ample to satisfy us. All were good with the fish dishes particularly tasty. Service was good too. Traditional decor adds to the atmosphere. Recommended.

Such a good place! It's a bit expensive but it's worth it. You can also get good vouchers from itsion and Groupon. The atmosphere is so nice. I like the decorations and the music (except that time they were playing an Egyptian song 😂). The food is so delicious and the staff are very nice. The batates bravas is the best in town!

Excellent food!!! Family of six and we all got different things. Everyone loved their dishes and was happily full. Lovely place and patient wait staff. Would love to go back again and again. Hopefully we will come back to Glasgow someday and get to go back!

Travelled to Glasgow from the West Midlands, England and visited my first Spanish restaurant! Had a fantastic Spanish Breakfast. Wonderful food served by fantastic and friendly staff. Will be making Cafe Andaluz a regular from now on my visits to wonderful Glasgow. Well done to everyone at Cafe Andaluz.

My friends drink was half full and they took it away away, bad manners and wasteful, it was pink gin and lemonade!!!

We ate in both Edinburgh and Glasgow The menu is the same and in both cases the environment is beautiful and the food is of good quality and well prepared

As a Spaniard visiting Glasgow I wanted to try some Spanish food abroad and check if our cuisine is being correctly represented. I normally understand that it might be difficult to replicate it abroad, but the overall quality and taste of the food was too far from acceptable levels. Top that with quite expensive prices per tapa (which is basically a small meal that in Spain usually costs around 3€) and it becomes difficult to recommend such a place to anyone trying to find a genuine experience.

Oh my gosh, their patatas gratinadas are so freaking good, I could eat them over and over again! And their 3 tapas offer for 18.95 is a total steal!

Dipped in here with the parentals for a post-theatre sweet treat. The wait staff were very welcoming and perfectly happy to let us have a table close to closing (about 45 mins) just for desserts, which we really appreciated. I had the café bonbon, which is basically a shot of espresso on condensed milk which was pretty nice. Honestly, the milk I could take or leave, but the coffee itself was really good, rich and velvetty. My dad had the churros, which he ate up with great relish. The chocolate sauce was nice, good quality chocolate. Mum had the raspberry white chocolate ice cream thing which was great, tartness from the raspberry matched perfectly with the ice cream. Worth mentioning as well, they gave us each a block of tablet for free to accompany our coffees, which I thought was a really nice touch.

Arrived very late just before closing time. Waiters arranged tables, good wine and some tapas. We were allowed to sit until we were finished, a pleasure of service and Spanish flavors.

Been years since I've been here, but just as good and went in at very short notice. Ordered six dishes between the two of us to share and all excellent. Asked waiter what his favourite was as he was serving them to us and he told us which two he would eat 1st, so we did the same. Scallops and goats cheese dishes duly consumed 1st followed by beef, chicken strips in honey and a very nice lamb dish and forgotten what the 6th one was.

The grilled eggplant was too dry. I don’t know if this is what Western food likes, but I really don’t like it. Fortunately, after communicating with the store, I waived the order for this dish. The attitude is really good. I tried the asparagus tips and artichoke salad (it seems to be called salad andaluz). The addition of tomatoes gave it a very fresh and comfortable taste. In this dish, I felt the charm of artichokes, a vegetable that is very large in the market, for the first time. I cried. , the most recommended in this order The portion of paella is large and the taste is pretty good, but it also has many shortcomings. Firstly, it is a little salty. Secondly, the mussels are not fresh enough. The shrimps and squid are all frozen. The prawns are normal. The overall advantage is the sufficient portion, price and experience. Pretty beautiful After reading the menu, I found that there is a Chinese code at the end... I strongly urge it to be popularized. It is so painful to read Spanish, German, Italian, etc....

Had a really good meal and drinks here. The food was fresh and tasty and the portions were a good size. There's plenty of choice on the lunch menu and we were very happy with what we had ordered. The service was great from the waiting staff in black shirts but those in white were not so friendly - they weren't unpleasant but slightly indifferent. Overall a really good experience.

Absolutely gorgeous food! Pricey as hell but honestly worth it. The limoncello semifreddo didn't jibe with me but everyone else loved it so it must be my palate that's wrong....

This lovely restaurant is beautifully decorated with very friendly staff. There are many options for vegetarians which was great. the waitress was fantastic in explaining how to order as they do a set style of selecting 3 tapas and a dessert for a set price. I highly recommend the Mushroom which lovely and creamy and full of flavour

They treated us very well, but we expected a Spanish atmosphere.

Scallops are back on the menu. They were great but the old sauce was better. The addition of spinach added a bitter flavour. Other dishes were as we expected. Staff and service was perfect. A busy lunch in the centre of Glasgow.

Had some lovely tapas combination with green peppers and a lovely champagne cocktail. Service was excellent and the decor is fantastic as always.

An absolutely incredible Spanish tapas place. The atmosphere is well thought out and very Spanish influenced leading to a very authentic feel, the staff are very helpful, professional and friendly. The food is above fantastic, the tapas selection offers a great choice and from what we had from the menu we were very impressed, I would highly recommend the croquettes and the honey chicken as they were really something else.

The place has a very beautiful decoration! The service was good!! The presentation of the chosen dishes was beautiful, but... The flavor was very different from what we understand as Spanish food. Most dishes come with pepper and mayonnaise, and pepper takes away the real flavor of the food. The food is not Spanish and even though it wasn't, it didn't taste good. The amount paid was much higher than expected, as the food is not truly Spanish and is not tasty. We spent, two people, £54.

This way to expensive for dishes which are not so Andalusian, neither Spanish. The chicken was having a bath in bowl of oil :( The calamares fritos lacked of taste. Lamb meat in a tajine style was very good, but it's a Moroccan dish, not a Spanish one. And green olives are ok, black ones seemed to be green one coloured into black and not tasty, it was served with olive oil... I don't know why... The waiters are very kind and helpful, the restaurant looks like a real Spanish hacienda, but the food is not good :( 5 tapas (which are "media raciones") to share between 2 people for £30pp is way too expensive :( The two star rate goes for the decoration and the staff. The food should deserve a 5 stars UNDER 0.

The small plates were all delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful with all the tiles.

We went on a Friday evening and the place was pleasantly busy — without at all affecting the speed or quality of food and service both. Everything came out really quickly and was delicious. As to the staff — I cannot praise them enough! They were incredibly attentive and kind, refilling our drinks throughout. Incredible experience, wholeheartedly recommend!
