Cafe Alba Airdrie in North Lanarkshire

I visited this cafe with my Granddaughter who is 10 and loves to try different places to eat. We were shopping and fancied some lunch so popped in here. This place has an extensive menu so we had fun deciding what to have. She had a chicken caesar salad panini. She gave it 5 stars! We had delicious milkshakes, mine was apparently the first of toffee popcorn and it was delicious. Bit pricey for a cafe but reflects the quality of the food. Portions are big and all very well cooked and presented. Attentive staff too. Would highly recommend.

Was in Airdrie one Sunday morning with work and had time between jobs, so thought I would go grab something to eat. Not much was open but Cafe Alba was. Located in the heart of Airdrie main street, you get a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Good selection of things to choose from, so I went for the Breakfast wrap and a coffee, which was prepared in no time. Really tasty and can highly recommend this place.

Fave cafe!! I've been on several occassional and would recommend to anyone. Service is always excellent, staff are so friendly and the food is 10/10, I've tried about everything on the menu and if you like a sweet treat their cakes are OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Fave. Fave. Fave.

I visited this cafe with my service user and both of us loved the food. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and we will definitely be back. The cafe is beautifully decorated and the toilets are absolutely spotless. Lovely cafe

I popped in today for a breakfast and omg I was not disappointed, the food was amazing and perfectly cooked , I will be back next Saturday , the staff were polite and very professional 10/10 guys

Three of us lunched here and were pleased to find the service fast but not rushed, and the food very tasty. Alba pride themselves in using local, Scottish produce and you could taste the difference. It was a bit more expensive than some of the neighbouring establishments but I feel you got your moneys worth in terms of quality.

This is a gem of a cafe. It was great to sit outside and the waiter was so helpful and friendly. There is a lovely selection of cakes and traybakes. My tea was great and the service was first class. 100% recommended for a visit.

Waitress was rude and eggs undercooked. Not enough staff working and food was overpriced. Did not enjoy this at all

Sleek modern cafe, lots of tiles, wood, well lit, fairly big. Not really what I'm looking for in a cafe but will suit ikea fans looking for clean lines and a sterile atmosphere. The food was decent enough, prices on the dearer side. Didn't grab me, it has no soul. I believe its fairly new though, perhaps it'll develop an atmosphere as it ages. It opens on a Sunday which is good news for Saturday night drinkers, that's a big plus for any cafe

We went here for breakfast after staying the night in Glasgow but preferred to come back home for breakfast. We weren't disappointed, great service, great produce, nice crispy breakfast rolls, very decent sausage and bacon, huge portion of eggs Benedict, I'm sure the lunches will be great too. The cakes looked amazing when I was up paying the bill, very reasonably priced too. We will be back.

Visited with family for breakfast. Place is nicely decorated and clean. Food choice was good but felt it was quite pricey for the food they serve. Drinks are also on the pricey side. Compared to other places in Airdrie I fear they may be over pricing themselves. Worth trying but food not any different from other cafes in the area but the cafe looks nice.

Went in for some lunch today, lovely surroundings and staff are very friendly. Nice choice of food, including Healthy, vegetarian and Gluten Free choices. Food was lovely and I will be back.
